I love the use of the phrase 'gone fishing' instead of just saying I'm unavailable. It harks back to the golden days when absent people really had packed up shop and gone fishing. I use it on my office email when I go on vacation and people always ask me how my fishing trip was.
There was no second guessing with today's search, which was very much 'it is what it says on the tin', complete with every angling word you'd expect. My search for words began by finding "box" and then "tackle", which I put together to become today's spangram TACKLE BOX.
And from there? Well, it was as easy as shooting fish in a barrel – which is not technically fishing. Or advisable. Where's Bob today? Oh he's gone shooting fish.

Pedro Pascal slaps Joaquin Phoenix during a heated standoff in first trailer for Hereditary director's pandemic drama that critics are calling "the first truly modern western"

The first full-length trailer for Eddington, directed by Ari Aster, has arrived - it looks a truly wild time. In the brief clip, which can be viewed below, Sherriff Joe Cross (Joaquin Phoenix) slowly but surely starts to unravel as COVID-19 hits the small town of Eddington and tensions begin to rise amongst residents. Joe ends up starting a war with Mayor Ted Garcia (Pedro Pascal), who is running for reelection. There's plenty of gunfire, protests, and violence - though nothing beats the scene where Pascal slaps Phoenix across the face. We also get our first glimpse at Emma Stone as Joe's wife Louise, Deirdre O'Connell as Louise's mother, and Austin Butler as Vernon Jefferson Peak, who appears to be a religious zealot. The cast also includes Luke Grimes, Micheal Ward, and Clifton Collins Jr. The contemporary Western had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, where it competed for the Palme D'or and was apparently met with a mixed reaction from viewers and critics alike. "Covid felt like an inflection point, where the link to the old society we lived in was finally cut," Aster told The New York Times, explaining his vision for the film. "That old idea of democracy being something that could be any sort of countervailing force to power and tech and finance, it went away completely at that moment, and it's where I think we became fully isolated. Princess Märtha Louise's Daughter Is Joining a Popular Reality TV Series, Despite Being 6th in Line to the Norwegian Throne

Leah Isadora Behn, who is currently 6th in line to the Norwegian throne, has announced her participation in a reality TV series called Forræder, which is Norway's version of The Traitors. Announcing the news on Instagram, Behn wrote, "Traitors Season 5 with @ gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss." She continued, "See you in the fall, this is going to be sick." Clearly, Behn is ready to be a conniving and memorable reality TV contestant. The 20-year-old royal has two sisters—22-year-old Maud Angelica and 16-year-old Emma Tallulah. The trio's father, Ari Behn, passed away in December 2019 at the age of 47. Leah isn't the first member of her family to embark upon a career in reality TV, either. Her older sister Maud appeared on the Norwegian version of The Masked Singer, Maskorama, in 2022. It's also worth noting that Princess Märtha Louise's three daughters don't have royal titles, despite being in line for the Norwegian throne. Aside from a possible future as a reality television star, Leah is a social media influencer with almost 150,000 Instagram followers, as of June 2025. Leah's mother, Princess Märtha Louise, married American Shaman Durek Verrett on August 31, 2024. The couple tied the knot at Hotel Union in Geiranger, Norway, which offers incredible views of a World Heritage Site-designated Norwegian Fjord. In April, Princess Märtha Louise and her new husband shared their top relationship tips on social media. "Always telling the truth and always being transparent with each other builds a beautiful and successful relationship because you can trust each other and know that, no matter what is said, love will always be there," Verrett shared in the video. Märtha Louise emphasized the importance of taking "responsibility for your triggers." She further explained, "It's mostly you who has the triggers inside of you from something in the past, it's not actually the person in front of you."
