The New Saints manager Craig Harrison says the heat will be a big factor when they play in North Macedonia against Shkendija in the Champions League qualifiers.
Saints could not find a breakthrough in a tight first leg of the first qualifying round tie at Park Hall, which ended goalless.
But Harrison is confident his side will create chances in Skopje and will draw on the experience of last season's draw away to Decic in Montenegro.
"The heat will play a big factor so we can't go running around like madmen closing down and wasting energy," Harrison told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"We know what it's like in Montenegro, which is in the same region of the world, so it will be similar conditions, really warm.

"So we'll have to manage the game accordingly and we'll have to be a little bit better in possession of the ball."
Harrison said his side did "everything but score a goal" in what was an evenly-matched first leg.
The Saints boss, in his second spell in charge of the 17-times Welsh champions, feels his side are capable of securing a win and progressing in the competition.
"I do think that if we can keep a clean sheet out there, I think we'll go through," Harrison added.
"We went out to Decic and were up against it there and we drew 1-1 in very, very similar surroundings.

"We'll have a game plan, we'll be well-organised and well-drilled out of possession.
"But I do think we're very dangerous on the counter-attack and will create chances."
The winners will face FCSB of Romania or Andorra's Inter Club d'Escaldes in the second qualifying round while the losing team drop into the Conference League.

Lamine Yamal vs Ousmane Dembélé: Updated Ballon d'Or odds revealed

An updated round of odds for the next Ballon d'Or award have on Tuesday come to the fore online. And they will no doubt come as altogether concerning reading for those of a Barcelona persuasion. This comes amid confirmation that Lamine Yamal has fallen some way off frontrunner Ousmane Dembélé in the race for the prize. Advertisement Wide-man Lamine's name has been heavily pushed in the Ballon d'Or debate once more over the last couple of days. This comes after Paris Saint-Germain's heavy defeat in the final of the Club World Cup saw the Barca faithful kickstart a fresh campaign for their young attacker to beat out chief 'Golden Ball' competitor Ousmane Dembélé. As alluded to above, however, if the latest odds doing the rounds online are anything to go by, then Dembélé's CWC defeat does not appear to have negatively affected his candidacy at all. In fact, as revealed by Actu Foot, citing collective bookmaker odds, the France international is considered as being in with an 83% chance of lifting the Ballon d'Or this September. Maye rallied key teammates, including star receiver Stefon Diggs, rookie Kyle Williams, and backup quarterback Josh Dobbs, to his hometown near Charlotte. The three-day grind showcased Maye's leadership, blending camaraderie with intense preparation. Bourne, grinning ear-to-ear, called it 'a free vacation' thanks to the luxurious house Maye secured. Hough High School, where Maye once played as a freshman. The squad drilled routes, with Maye mentoring Williams, sharpening the rookie's skills. The hustle set a fierce tone for the trip. On day two, the team hit the field at 8 a.m., fine-tuning connections between quarterbacks and receivers. Maye and Dobbs synced with their targets, building chemistry critical for the upcoming season. Every rep screamed dedication. The finale at Davidson College saw Maye, a University of North Carolina alum, rallying his crew for one last push. 'I appreciate y'all coming out,' he told them, his words brimming with gratitude and grit. Hopefully, the chemistry built up here will translate to the field come September. Will this spark ignite a Patriots resurgence? Training camp, starting July 23, holds the answers.
