Recently, Karan Veer Mehra attended Samarth Jurel's birthday bash, where paparazzi called him the real Bigg Boss winner.
Karan Veer Mehra won the hearts of many after showing his real and smart personality in Bigg Boss 18, where he emerged as the winner, defeating Vivian Dsena. Since the show ended, fans have continued to support the actor and his popularity has grown ever since. Recently, the small screen star attended Samarth Jurel's birthday bash, where paparazzi called him the real Bigg Boss winner. Although Karan and Samarth didn't compete in the same season, they share a close friendship. While Karan's rumoured partner and fellow BB contestant, Chum Darang, wasn't present, he still managed to turn heads. His all-black outfit and stylish appearance left fans stunned as he made a grand entrance at the event.
In the paparazzi video, the Ragini MMS 2 star looked stylish in a black shirt, which he loosely tucked into matching black pants. He paired his outfit with black shoes. Karan also wore minimal accessories, which included a plain neck chain and a bracelet, to complete his look. Even though he wasn't the most glamorous-looking person at the party, Karan still caught everyone's attention and received a lot of praise from fans.
Despite winning Bigg Boss 18, Karan Veer Mehra, in an interview with Pinkvilla, claimed that not everyone was happy after the announcement. He said, 'I think Chum and Shilpa and my sister, whom I met later because I was celebrating more with them, but yes, people were less happy with me at that time. I didn't realise it then because it was a mix of emotions. But now, when I see videos of how people are speaking badly about me, I don't feel too bad for myself, but my mom fell sick watching the show because there was so much negativity about me. So that's what is bothering me, like, why were they doing this? I wasn't even talking about anyone, nor did I have the time. I was busy with my gym and having fun. But still, despite everything, the trophy came home."
Other than Karan Veer Mehra, Samarth Jurel's birthday celebrations were also attended by Ankita Lokhande, Nia Sharma, Vicky Jain and Munawar Faruqui, Arjun Bijlani walked the red carpet of the event with his wife Neha Swami, Aly Goni, Reem Shaikh, Bharti Singh, Digvijay Rathee, Abhishek Kumar, Rahul Vaidya, Manisha Rani, Zaid Darbar, Sudesh Lahiri and Harpal Singh Sokhi.

Did PK producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra offer Rs 8 crore to stop Akshay Kumar's OMG? Director Umesh Shukla breaks silence

Akshay Kumar 's film OMG – Oh My God! became quite a hit at the box office. Also starring Paresh Rawal in the lead role, the film was highly praised by fans and critics. At that time, there were reports that the film's subject is quite similar to Aamir Khan's PK, and that the producer offered Rs 8 crore to OMG director Umesh Shukla to stop the film. Now, the filmmaker has finally broken his silence on the rumors and dismissed them. In a recent interview with Friday Talkies, OMG director Umesh Shukla said that people spoke about Oh My God's similarities with PK. Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and writer Abhijat Joshi had watched his play on similar subjects. Talking about similar genres, he shared that even if someone is working on a similar subject, there will naturally be some resemblance. He compared it to the romantic genre where 'I love you' is present in all the projects. Umesh further talked about Rs 8 crore rumors and shared, 'Uss time afwah thi ki PK mein Vidhu Vinod Chopra sahab jo the unhone mujhe 8 crore offer kiye the film nahi banane ke liye. Par wo sab afwayein thi. Aesa kuch hua nahi tha.' (At that time, there were rumors that Vidhu Vinod Chopra sir, who was part of PK, had offered me Rs 8 crores to not make the film. But those were just rumors. Nothing like that actually happened). He also added, 'Wo apne aap mein itne talented log hai. Rajkummar Hirani sahab, Abhijat, Vidhu Vinod Chopra sahab, Aamir Khan sahab, sab log itne talented hai ki wo itni unchi harkat karte hi nahi the paisa dene ke liye. Yeh sab uchli thi uss samay par aisa kuch nahi tha.' (They are all incredibly talented individuals—Rajkumar Hirani sir, Abhijat, Vidhu Vinod Chopra sir, Aamir Khan sir—they are way above doing something like that, offering money to stop a film. These were just talks that floated around back then, but there was no truth to it). Earlier, Pinkvilla exclusively reported that OMG 2 director Amit Rai is gearing up for the film Oh My Dog, which will be an adorable story about kids and dogs. A fresh star cast to be featured and even Pankaj Tripathi might have a cameo in it.

Drishyam 3: Mohanlal And Jeethu Joseph Likely To Begin Filming In September 2025

Last Updated: Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph are reportedly set to start filming Drishyam 3 in September 2025. Malayalam cinema's iconic duo—Mohanlal and director Jeethu Joseph—are ready to bring back the suspense and intrigue of the Drishyam universe. According to a new report by Cinema For You, the third installment of the celebrated thriller franchise is likely to begin production in September 2025, much to the excitement of fans across the country. While speculation had long surrounded their return, the report suggests that Drishyam 3 might finally move ahead—possibly at the cost of delaying their much-anticipated but long-stalled project Ram yet again. With dates aligning and mounting pressure from eager fans, the team seems to be prioritizing the next chapter in Georgekutty's chilling tale of deception and survival. An official confirmation is still awaited, but the buzz has already reignited anticipation among viewers who have followed Georgekutty's journey since the very beginning. For the uninitiated, Drishyam (2013) was a game-changer in Indian cinema. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the original film followed Georgekutty, a simple cable TV operator, whose life spirals into chaos after a shocking incident involving his family. What followed was a masterclass in suspenseful storytelling, as Georgekutty wove a web of lies to protect his loved ones from law enforcement. The film's gripping narrative, moral ambiguity, and powerful performances struck a chord with audiences, making it a blockbuster and a blueprint for remakes across multiple Indian languages. In 2021, the franchise returned with Drishyam 2: The Resumption, picking up seamlessly from where the first left off. Released directly on Amazon Prime Video due to the pandemic, the sequel was lauded for maintaining the franchise's high standards of storytelling, layered drama, and emotional depth. Mohanlal once again proved why he's considered one of India's finest actors, and Jeethu Joseph's direction was praised for its sophistication and restraint. As the Malayalam original prepares to enter its third and possibly final phase, interestingly, its Bollywood counterpart is also revving up for its next chapter. Actor Ajay Devgn is reportedly set to reprise his role as Vijay Salgaonkar in Drishyam 3, with Abhishek Pathak returning to direct. That film, according to Pinkvilla, will go on floors in August 2025, creating a fascinating parallel between the two cinematic universes. Meanwhile, Mohanlal continues to be one of the busiest stars in the industry. After headlining Thudarum, a hard-hitting crime drama about a father's quest for justice, he is now gearing up for Hridayapoorvam, a feel-good family film helmed by veteran director Sathyan Anthikad and co-starring Malavika Mohanan. His packed slate also includes big-ticket projects like Vrusshabha and MMMN, further cementing his status as a pan-Indian force to reckon with. With Drishyam 3, Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph have the potential to close the chapter on one of Indian cinema's most iconic franchises with the same finesse and unpredictability that made it a cultural phenomenon in the first place. After ‘Housefull 5' success, this Punjabi beauty bags another big project, set to star opposite Sunny Deol…; She is…

In the midst of Housefull 5's roaring success, Sonam Bajwa—already riding high with upcoming roles in Baaghi 4 opposite Tiger Shroff and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat alongside Harshvardhan Rane—drops into a brand-new battlefield. Rumour has it she's set to star in the much-anticipated Border 2, sharing intense emotional terrain with Diljit Dosanjh amid the chaos of conflict. According to a Pinkvilla source, Bajwa's character is no mere cameo; she's the emotional core of the sequel, her arc reflecting strength, sacrifice, and chemistry that lights up the screen alongside Diljit's portrayal. The war isn't just external—it's fought in the heart. And her entrée is timed to perfection: cameras roll from late June through mid-August in Pune, as Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, and now Bajwa bring Border 2 to life under Anurag Singh's lens. The hunt for Varun's heroine, however, continues. While makers have kept her involvement unconfirmed, the whispers carry weight—after all, Bajwa and Diljit share a rich chemistry, honed across Punjabi hits like Hounsla Rakh, Super Singh, Sardar Ji (and its sequel), Shada and Rana Cha Dhanna. Directed by Kesari's Anurag Singh and backed by JP and Nidhi Dutta alongside T‑Series, Border 2 is slated to hit theaters on Republic Day 2026—a prime release slot channelling the patriotic thunder of its 1997 cult predecessor. From delivering punchlines in Housefull 5 to stepping into the trenches for Border 2 , Sonam Bajwa's career arc isn't just genre-hopping—it's a bold recalibration. Her choices reflect not only ambition but a hunger to expand her range, from rom-com comfort zones to high-stakes war dramas. But this onscreen evolution echoes a deeper, offscreen journey, too. In a candid chat with Siddharth Kannan, Bajwa revisited the shadows of her childhood, being bullied for not fitting the fair-skinned stereotype expected of Punjabi girls. Relatives sidelined her, some even refusing to invite her home. That early exclusion etched a sense of defiance in her, one that now seems to be fuelling her fearless choices in cinema. With Baaghi 4 set for September 5 and Border 2 gearing up for a 2026 debut, Sonam Bajwa's filmography reveals not just ambition, but audacity. Will this move into war drama cement her transition from Punjabi?
