Former Hear'Say singer Myleene Klass paid tribute to her old primary school in Gorleston-on-Sea after a fire broke out and tore through the building
Myleene Klass sent her love to her old school, where she now mentors, after a fire broke out. The former Hear'Say singer, 47, took to her Instagram Stories to share a picture of a billowing plume of smoke emerging from the buildings of Clifton Park Academy in Gorleston-on-Sea this week.

She wrote in the caption: "This is my old state school that I now mentor at. To Cliff Park teachers and pupils, I'm glad you're all safe. I'm told the teachers did a phenomenal job of getting you out. I'm sorry your last day of term looked like this, I'm relieved you're all ok. Sending my love," before tagging the school.

She also shared a screenshot of the news article about the fire, before adding: "Well done once again to my colleagues and teachers for getting the children out safely."
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to the primary school at 13.16 to reports of a fire on Friday afternoon as they vowed to help the school make a full recovery.
Paul Seaman, head of operations at Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, said of the situation: "We will remain on scene and do whatever is required to support the school and the local community to a full recovery following this incident."

After all children were safe and accounted for, the school released a statement on their social media page. They wrote on Facebook: "Following the fire at the academy earlier this afternoon, we can confirm that everyone is safe and that all children have now been collected.
"Further information regarding the collection of belongings, including bikes and scooters, will be arranged at a later date. Thank you for your co-operation and understanding."

It comes several days after Myleene received an MBE at Windsor Castle for her dedication to raising awareness and advocating for legal changes after experiencing several pregnancy losses.
Speaking with PA news agency, the 47-year-old star said: "The King himself has now acknowledged that miscarriage care and healthcare needs to move forward. We're actually in a position where we can change the law, and women can benefit from it."
Myleene, who has endured four miscarriages herself, has been at the forefront of demanding better support and policy amendments, becoming one of the nation's leading voices for change.

She described the honour as recognition for 'the achievements of so many people that come together' to improve what she called a neglected area of women's health.
"When I was going through my own miscarriages, you feel so invisible – you just feel you need somebody to guide you out of it," she said. "There's so much negativity about miscarriage healthcare – women feel so lost, so dragged down by it all."

Gregg Wallace fears he will be stripped of MBE after BBC sacking - 'What will be my legacy?'

Former Masterchef host Gregg Wallace has opened up on his fears over being stripped of his MBE following his sacking from the BBC show as he asks what his legacy now be Former MasterChef host Gregg Wallace has sensationally revealed that, in the wake of his sacking from the BBC, he fears he will be stripped of his MBE that was awarded to him in 2022 for his services to food and charity. The 60 year old presenter, who became known across the nation for presenting MasterChef and Celebrity MasterChef, believes his career is now over after he was fired from the broadcaster following accusations of inappropriate behaviour. He had been a firm fixture on the show since 2005 until he was suspended last year. Earlier this month, 45 claims out of a staggering 83 allegations were upheld after a seven-month investigation, which covered the period between 2005 and 2024. The BBC has confirmed they have "no plans to work with him in the future." In a new interview, the former greengrocer is now facing further turmoil as he fears there could be another level of humiliation if his MBE is taken away from him. Speaking to The Sun, he questioned his legacy. He said: "What will my legacy be now? I don't want it to be telly, I want nothing to do with it all. I have worried about losing my MBE but there's not a lot I can do about it." He added: "But I haven't done anything illegal and hopefully now more and more people will realise that I haven't been exposing myself, and I haven't been groping people either." He continued: "So now I want to start campaigning — raising more awareness of neurodiversity in the workplace." " I think perceptions may slowly change and all I want is people to ask questions of people whose behaviour they find odd — even people that might look like a football hooligan to you.," he said. "You can't decide which groups of people or which disabilities you will support or won't support in the workplace. You either embrace it all or you don't," he added. Gregg has now claimed that the BBC should have spotted his autism and advised him to go to Occupational Health rather than "letting all these complaints build up against me." This is something the former presenter said he feels "very angry about that." Gregg was diagnosed with autism in January. The BBC has confirmed that they will air the final season of MasterChef that was recorded with Gregg and his co-host John Torode, before their sacking. John had been axed from the show after an investigation confirmed that he had used racist language before.

Katie Price's boyfriend JJ Slater issues relationship 'ultimatum' after split rumours

EXCLUSIVE: Katie Price's boyfriend JJ Slater has reportedly issued an ultimatum to the star, as the couple's relationship is said to be 'on the rocks' amid her financial woes Katie Price has been issued an 'ultimatum' by her boyfriend JJ Slater, a source has revealed to new. The ex-glamour model, 47, admitted last week that she was on the brink of homelessness, as she must move out of her rental property – due to the landlord selling up – and is struggling to find a new home. ‌ Our source claimed that between Katie's financial stresses and drama-filled lifestyle, JJ, 33, is putting his foot down and urging her to take her problems more seriously. ‌ 'JJ has had enough of all the drama,' they claimed. 'Katie isn't responsible with money and has been struggling with the moving situation, which JJ feels she sometimes takes out on him. He has given Katie an ultimatum, explaining that she needs to start taking accountability for her finances and get her ducks in a row – if they're to have a real chance together.' ‌ Tongues had been wagging of late when JJ was absent from Katie's Instagram page for more than a month. Meanwhile, Katie hasn't appeared on his social media since April – and neither of them has spoken publicly about their relationship in weeks. It caused fans to question whether there was trouble in paradise – previously, Katie and JJ have taken numerous romantic getaways, delightedly sharing loved-up snaps together on social media. But seemingly dispelling any notion of a split, Katie shared a snap to Instagram Stories while on a photoshoot last week which revealed JJ sitting in the foreground. ‌ Discussing her precarious living situation, the mum-of-five had explained on an episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, that she couldn't rent a new property, as she was struggling to find a guarantor. 'It p****s me off,' said Katie. 'Some houses I look at, I can't get a guarantor. Some people don't earn enough to be one for me. One house I do want, the landlord wants six months' rent up front and a guarantor – even though I've got the best reference ever [from her former landlord].' Katie has been renting a £5,000-a-month new build since being legally forced out of her 'Mucky Mansion' property in May last year, following a bankruptcy declaration in March 2024. She had owned the home since 2014 and it was sold last December. ‌ It's thought that JJ has been living with her in recent months, but last week it was reported the reality star had moved out and they had gone their separate ways. While our source said this is not the case and the pair are still very much in a relationship, they did claim the pair have issues they need to tackle. 'Katie and JJ are on the rocks,' claimed our source. 'He is half living with her and half not – it's a tricky situation at the moment. He feels like, when they are living together, he becomes a chopping board for her to take stress out on, so that's something that needs to change.' ‌ The couple met after JJ rose to prominence during a stint on 2023's Married At First Sight UK. Katie subsequently messaged him on Instagram and they began dating at the start of 2024, going public in February. The pair seemed to progress quickly as a couple and Katie gushed last December that she was keen to marry JJ, saying, 'I'd love to get married again.' If the couple were to end up getting married, it would be Katie's fourth time walking down the aisle, after previous failed unions with Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler. More recently, she was engaged to Carl Woods, who she split from at the end of 2023 after a turbulent relationship. Katie, who is mum to Harvey, 23, Junior, 20, Princess, 18, Jett, 11, and Bunny, 10, has made no secret of her desire to have more children and even explored IVF with Carl. Appearing to confirm that it's a goal she'd like to achieve with JJ, who doesn't have any children, Katie said in November, 'I'm at that stage and I do want more kids. And I don't want to be told by a doctor or something that I can't have more. I know I'm not done. If I could have two more kids, I would.' Whether those hopes will come to fruition with JJ remains to be seen. Our source claimed the love is certainly there – things just need to change between them. 'JJ does love Katie and he knows they can be really happy,' said the source. 'It's just a case of her not getting so involved in drama all of the time and taking things more seriously. That's all JJ wants.'
