New NYPD footage captures the callous pair of home invaders who allegedly posed as Amazon workers, tied up an entire family – including three kids – and made off with thousands of dollars in a Queens heist earlier this week.
The clip, released by police Tuesday night, shows both perps wearing baseball caps – one carrying an Amazon box and the other wearing a bright-yellow vest – as they casually strolled down the quiet Whitestone block Monday morning.
An unsuspecting 43-year-old man answered the door of the single-family home on 12th Avenue near 152nd Street around 7:40 a.m. Monday, before the perps rushed inside – one armed with a gun, authorities said.
3 One of the suspects can be seen toting an Amazon box, and the other wearing a bright yellow vest.

They then forced the family – also including two women, 39 and 18, and two boys, 10 and 5 – into the basement, cops said.
The money-hungry fiends tied up the victims and stretched duct tape over their mouths before they ransacked the home, swooping up about $16,000, jewelry, and electronic devices, police said.
The brazen duo used the victim's own car, a silver Chrysler minivan, as the getaway vehicle. The car was found abandoned two blocks away, police said.
3 The crew forced the family — including three kids, 5, 10 and 18 — into the basement, cops said.

Witness John Nardone told FreedomNewsTV at the time that he had just climbed out of his car to get to work when he saw the terrified father running out of the house tugging at duct tape on his face.
'I said, 'are you ok?'' Nardone said. 'He said his kids were in the basement.'
'I was wondering if this was real, because of that,' the witness added. 'I've never seen something like that, like a guy come out of his house with duct tape all over his face.'
The NYPD is still looking to track down the pair of robbers.
3 The brazen duo allegedly stole about $16,000, jewelry, and electronic devices from the home, cops said.

Miami-Dade mayor was at World Cup party that broke up after Border agent arrived: ‘Troubling'
A federal immigration agent arrived Wednesday night at an exclusive World Cup party on Biscayne Bay attended by Miami-Dade County's mayor, who is calling the incident 'deeply troubling' and a potential warning sign that international soccer fans won't feel safe traveling to Miami next year for the global soccer matches. 'This should not have happened,' Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, a second-term Democrat, said in a statement Thursday. 'Ensuring that all community members feel safe and included is crucial to maintaining our county's reputation as a welcoming destination for both residents and visitors.' The floating soiree, which was put on by Telemundo to celebrate the 2026 World Cup games being a year away, ended early after a Coast Guard boat conducted what an agency spokesperson said was a routine inspection of the barge that was the night's exclusive party spot. The Coast Guard spokesperson said one Customs and Border Protection agent was part of the federal team, and partygoers reported that authorities asked crew members of the party vessel, the Barefoot Princess, for identification that would prove their citizenship. No action was taken from the inspection beyond citations for safety violations against the vessel, said Lt. Nicolina Converso, a spokesperson for the Coast Guard's Miami station. She did not have details on the violations. 'This was a routine boarding,' she said. 'Sometimes we will randomly go and check on boats in the area.' In a later interview, Coast Guard spokesperson Nicole Groll emphasized that the Coast Guard's purpose for the vessel boarding was a safety check. 'This had nothing to do with the event that was happening onboard,' she said. 'This had everything to do with the operations and safety of the people onboard. And to make sure the business that was this boat was operating legally and safely.' Groll said the vessel in question was boarded earlier in the year and that safety issues were found then. She also said that it's standard procedure for the Coast Guard to run background checks on the professional crew operating a commercial vessel. 'They were talking to the captain and the crew,' she said. 'It's the same as if you get pulled over by a police officer.' Asked if federal agents asked crew members about their citizenship, Groll said she couldn't say for sure. 'I can't say which words were said,' she told the Herald. 'This was not a targeted immigration thing.' Telemundo, a Spanish-language network that broadcasts World Cup games, said it opted to cancel the event after the Coast Guard inspection delayed the start of the pre-sunset festivities. The statement did not address the immigration-enforcement concerns raised by Levine Cava. 'Due to delays caused by a routine Coast Guard inspection, Telemundo canceled its One Year to Go celebration,' the network statement said. 'We regret the inconvenience to our guests and appreciate their understanding.' The incident was first publicized on social media by Thomas Kennedy, an immigrant advocate in Miami. He shared with the Miami Herald a text message he said he received from a person at the party. 'They came on board, did an inspection,' the message read. 'A border control agent was also on board asking the boat staff specifically to show identification and proof of citizenship. This was while guests were already onboard…including the mayor.' Levine Cava did not say whether she saw anyone being asked for identification, but the owner of a different boat company told the Herald it is typical for the Coast Guard to ask professional crew members about citizenship during a stop. In her statement, Levine Cava said the Coast Guard boarding could be a black eye for the Miami area as it prepares to be a host of the 2026 World Cup games. Miami-Dade is contributing more than $40 million to subsidize the summer games, with hopes of a surge of international visitors and spending to offset the public expenditures. 'Miami-Dade is a globally recognized community that is proud to welcome visitors from around the world,' she said. 'This incident is deeply troubling as it can cause a chilling effect for visitors to continue feeling safe and welcomed in our community.'

Adams ties arson attack on NYPD vehicles to LA riots— but link unconfirmed: sources
Mayor Eric Adams claimed that the masked firebug who torched nearly a dozen NYPD vehicles in Brooklyn Thursday morning was linked to the violent anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles – but sources told The Post there is little to back up that assertion. 'We have reasons to believe the person who participated in this act is connected to some of the protests that [are] taking place in Los Angeles and throughout the entire country,' Adams told reporters of the arson, which took place in a Bushwick lot about a block from the 83rd Precinct stationhouse. Hizzoner would not elaborate further on how that connection was established, but said 'there's a clear indication that someone that had firsthand knowledge of this and taking credit for it, and that's going to be part of our investigation.' Sources, however, say the mayor was referring to a screed posted on X announcing the arson, and listing the top motive as 'solidarity with the uprising happening in Los Angeles where community and rebels are fighting Amerikkan pig forces.' 'From one cop city to another, death to the pigs and the surveillance state,' the poster wrote. But the legitimacy of that post – and whether the writer actually took part in the LA riots – has not been confirmed, poilce sources said A total of 11 vehicles were damaged and 14 were impacted in the early-morning fires, but thankfully no injuries were reported, Adams said.

California Senator Handcuffed, Manhandled at Kristi Noem Press Conference
Senator Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) was dragged out of a Department of Homeland Security press conference, forced to the ground, and handcuffed by members of the FBI after attempting to ask DHS Secretary Kristi Noem a question on Thursday. 'I'm Senator Alex Padilla, I have questions for the secretary,' the federal lawmaker who represents 40 million Californians said as several men grabbed his clothing and torso and began pushing him out of the room. Padilla told the men to 'get off him.' In a video released by Padilla's office, two FBI agents and one unidentified man maneuver the senator — who at that point appeared to be complying with their orders — to the ground and handcuff him. All the while, Noem continued speaking about her intention to 'liberate' Los Angeles from 'socialist' city and state rule. According to Padilla's office, the senator was in the federal building to receive a briefing with Air Force General Gregory Guillot, the commander of U.S. Northern Command, 'and was listening to Secretary Noem's press conference. He tried to ask the Secretary a question, and was forcibly removed by federal agents, forced to the ground, and handcuffed.' His office said he was trying to exercise 'his duty to perform congressional oversight of the federal government's operations in Los Angeles and across California.' Padilla said in an impromptu press conference outside the building that he was 'there peacefully.' and was in attendance hoping to get answers from the administration about their immigration policies. Padilla delivered the same remarks in both English and Spanish. 'I began to ask a question,' he recalled when he was removed from the room. 'I was forced to the ground and I was handcuffed,' he said, clarifying,'I was not arrested. I was not detained.' Padilla, his voice halting with emotion, then posed to reporters: 'If this is how this administration responds to a senator with a question you can only imagine what they're doing do farmers… and day laborers.' The Trump administration's manhandling of Padilla comes amid a week of tension in Southern California that Donald Trump and his top officials have sought to escalate. Trump's Immigration and Customs Enforcement has carried out increasingly aggressive raids and arrests in the Los Angeles area, prompting local protests — which Trump used as an excuse to send military troops to the city. California Governor Gavin Newsom wrote on social media that the senator is 'one of the most decent people I know. This is outrageous, dictatorial, and shameful. Trump and his shock troops are out of control. This must end now.' Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) added that watching 'the manhandling' of a United States Senator 'sickened my stomach.' 'We need immediate answers to what the hell went on,' Schumer wrote. In a floor speech, Padilla's fellow California Senator, Democrat Adam Schiff, called on Republicans to condemn the treatment of their colleague. 'The founders separated the powers between the executive and legislative and the judiciary because they wanted to set ambition against ambition, ambition of one institution against another, to protect all of our freedom,' Schiff said. ' But that requires that we go beyond our partisan affiliations and when something is wrong, dead wrong, when something is a threat to our democracy, that we call it out regardless of party. And this is wrong.' In a statement issued on social media, DHS claimed that Padilla was manhandled by federal agents because he 'chose disrespectful political theatre and interrupted a live press conference without identifying himself or having his Senate security pin on as he lunged toward Secretary Noem,' adding that the Secret Service 'thought he was an attacker.' Video clearly shows Padilla was nowhere close enough to Noem to 'lunge' at her, and that he loudly identified himself as a senator. As Sen. Chris Murphy told members of the GOP in an address to the Senate; 'even if you believe that he was disrespectful — and given the times that is certainly in the eye of the beholder — that never justifies what we saw on that video, throwing anyone, nevermind an elected representative of the people, to the ground to be handcuffed.' 'They're going to spin this, but I'm begging my Republican colleagues, don't let them do it,' Murphy said.
