Son has been in North London for the last ten years, playing 454 games and scoring 173 goals.
But his time now appears to be up as Tottenham are looking to cash-in on him before his contract expires this time next year.
The Telegraph report that a sale would bolster their summer transfer budget and fund a squad overhaul.
Clubs from Saudi Arabia are interested in a deal for the Korean winger.
Chiefs view him as a "recognisable world star" that could boost the Pro League's growth in Asia.
Tottenham triggered a one-year extension in Son's contract in January.

‘Unfinished business' – Ian Wright urges Arsenal to sign former Premier League star valued at £50million
WRIGHT IDEA 'Unfinished business' – Ian Wright urges Arsenal to sign former Premier League star valued at £50million Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) IAN WRIGHT has urged former club Arsenal to buy Ademola Lookman this summer. The Gunners are seeking to bolster their attack following three consecutive runner-up finishes. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 Ademola Lookman has impressed since moving to Italy Credit: Getty Lookman, 27, has had previous Premier League spells with Everton, Fulham and Leicester - with mixed fortunes. Since moving to Atalanta in 2022, the winger has gone from strength to strength - winning the Europa League and finishing 14th in the Ballon d'Or last year. Wright, 61, believes that Lookman would be well placed to improve Mikel Arteta's front line. On his Wrighty's House podcast, the former forward said: "I'm going to go with Ademola Lookman winning the African Player of the Year in respects of that man's journey. "You know, it's just… I can't help but look at his dark moment where it would have been dark for him. You know, especially all those loans going to another country. "And you know what? He never had no problem going wherever he needed to go to find it. "And then obviously, like you say, you find your place. Like Scott McTominay's found that, like he [Lookman] found with Atalanta. "I would love someone like him to come back to the Premier League and say, 'listen, I have unfinished business here so I am going to help Arsenal win the league'. Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini slams Ademola Lookman for his penalty skills "But I just admire his journey and now he's recognised rightly as a top player, unbelievable." SunSport recently revealed that Lookman has admirers at Arsenal. Some Gunners chiefs, however, are concerned about his age - believing that at 27 Lookman may have already peaked. In addition to Arsenal, Liverpool are keeping tabs on the £50m-rated former Evertonian.

Keep Calvert-Lewin as 'squad player' on a 'reduced wage'
We asked for your questions for BBC Sport pundit Nedum Onuoha on your Premier League asked whether Everton should keep Dominic Calvert-Lewin on the expiry of his contract this you have got to say this next season is going to be huge for Dominic Calvert-Lewin have seen his talents but the goalscoring record that got him in and around the England squad is becoming longer and longer needs to find a stretch where he is healthy, fit and available because you want to be able to rely on a striker and Everton have not been able to rely on Calvert-Lewin for a long time have a potential England international in the squad is brilliant - but only if they are available. The club will need to have a serious look at what they can do to first keep him healthy, but then secondly to keep him sharp. This comes from competition in the is worth keeping for now because is there cover if Everton decide to let him go? Do they have someone who can fill those boots straight away?Beto has done well in parts and been trusted in the back half of the season. I do not think Calvert-Lewin himself, or anyone at Everton, really expects him to be a guaranteed starter going forward. Unfortunately for him, he just has not played enough football in the past few the club can find a way to offer him a new deal - on a reduced wage and perhaps appearance-based clauses - then I would keep him as a squad new contract would need to reflect his lack of football. He is just not going to get any deal on the same terms as when he was pushing to play for England, and if the player does not accept that or wants a fresh start then he should for Calvert-Lewin, he can work his way back to being a regular starter and regular goalscorer Onuoha was speaking to BBC Sport's Nat Hayward

'The myth' about Russell's tactics
What is the "myth" about new Rangers head coach Russell Martin's tactics?Scottish coach and analyst John Walker feels there is a misconception with how people view former Swansea City and Southampton boss Martin's possession-based style, insisting it doesn't just mean the ball is just "passed about the back"."Martin's football is possession based, but it's attacking football," Walker said on the BBC's Scottish Football Podcast. "If he can get it forward in two passes, it's going forward in two passes. "People keep coming at me with the same thing, 'he's never played against a low block'. He's played against a low block loads because teams were scared of how his teams were playing. "If teams want to drop into a low block and fear Rangers, that suits Martin. That's what Martin wants. That's where Rangers will see a lot of goals being scored. "The flipside of that is there'll be a high defensive line, there'll be high risk, there'll be one-v-one defending at the back. And that's where you see Martin's horrendous goals against stats."Do the Premier League struggles of Brendan Rodgers and Ange Postecoglou prove managerial performance in England and Scotland's top flights is incomparable?Large numbers of Rangers fans appear to be underwhelmed at the appointment of former player Martin as their new head is somewhat fuelled by the ex-Scotland defender's gruelling experience as a manager in England's top won just once in 16 games before sacking Martin in December, but Walker feels the Premier League is "just not a comparable metric for how successful you can be in Scotland".Despite winning the Europa League, Postecoglou, a hugely successful Celtic manager, oversaw Tottenham's worst ever Premier League season last term, with the team finishing the 2022-23 campaign, Celtic boss Rodgers had Leicester heading towards relegation when he departed in the April. The Foxes ultimately went next move would be a return to Parkhead, where he has resumed cleaning up domestic prizes."Martin's Southampton experience rubs people the wrong way," said Walker."Rodgers had good seasons in England, but he also had bad seasons. With Postecoglou, league wise, this is a terrible time at Tottenham. "But he dominated and revolutionised Scottish football for two years, so there just is no comparison."
