NEW DELHI: India achieved notable success at the
Archery World Cup Stage 2
in Shanghai, securing three medals on Saturday. The team earned a gold in the compound men's team event, a silver in the women's team event, and a bronze in the mixed team competition.
In the men's final, Abhishek Verma, Ojas Deotale and Rishabh Yadav secured victory against Mexico with a score of 232-228, displaying steady performance throughout all four ends.

The women's compound team, consisting of Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Madhura Dhamangaonkar and Chikitha Taniparthi, earned a silver medal after their 221-234 defeat to Mexico.
Despite the substantial margin in the final, the Indian women demonstrated strong capabilities throughout the competition.

London, Jun 12 (PTI) England head coach Brendon McCullum believes India have arrived well-prepared and full of belief for the upcoming five-match Test series but his team is also clear about where it wants to be in the eagerly-anticipated showdown beginning June 20 in Leeds. The series will kick off India's new World Test Championship cycle. "They're an outstanding cricketing nation, who will come here with high hopes, and we are looking forward to seeing them," McCullum told 'Sky Sports Cricket'. England on the other hand have just completed a whitewash of the West Indies in a six-match white-ball series. "Jamie Smith and Ben Duckett have reminded me of Duckett and Zak Crawley in the Test game. We know how good Duckett is, but the power that Smith possesses is amazing. India head coach Gautam Gambhir welcomed Karun Nair back into the Test fold with heartfelt praise, highlighting the batter's resilience and hunger.
