'Real Housewives' star Teddi Mellencamp's cancer has spread to her lungs
Teddi Mellencamp's doctors discovered more tumors in her body after she underwent emergency brain surgery last month.
The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star shared a health update on her social media as she announced that doctors had detected additional tumors.
"Update from my scans today: I have multiple tumors in my brain that weren't able to be removed via surgery," she posted on Instagram. "I also have 2 tumors in my lung. These are all metastases of my melanoma."
Mellencamp added that doctors are "hopeful that immunotherapy and radiation will effectively treat them."
"I am feeling positive that I will win this battle, that I got this wig…and that I can remember all of Angelina's kids' names," she wrote, referring to Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie and her six kids she shares with Brad Pitt.
Mellencamp, 43, concluded her post with "f*** off, cancer!"
The reality star shared on her Instagram Stories that she is expected to begin her immunotherapy treatment on Tuesday.
The daughter of John Mellencamp had been suffering from "severe and debilitating headaches" for weeks before her hospitalization on Feb. 11.
"I am so grateful for the incredible surgeons, doctor, and nurses who made my surgery a success and my recovery process comfortable," she wrote in a statement shared with her 1.1 million Instagram followers.
"In full transparency, more tumors were removed than expected: 4 in total. This fight is not over, but that round has been won," she wrote in part.
Her latest diagnosis comes during her years-long battle with skin cancer. In September, Mellencamp shared that she underwent surgery for her 16th melanoma removal.
At the time, she shared that the doctors, "Unfortunately … found a spot on my ear which is now being biopsied."
The mom-of-three posted a mirror selfie with a visible bandage on her ear and showed the scars on her back.
"Up to 60% of patients with advanced melanoma develop brain metastases during the course of their disease and the presence of brain metastases significantly worsens a patient's prognosis," according to the National Institute of Health.
Meanwhile, her estranged husband shared a health update after she underwent brain tumor surgery in February.
"All I will say right now is surgery went well. That said, l've never seen @teddimellencamp in so much pain. She's finally getting some needed rest. I know she is so grateful for the outpouring of love," Edwin Arroyave wrote on Instagram.
Arroyave leaned on his faith as he stood by Mellencamp's side during the tumultuous time. He shared a prayer on social media alongside a picture next to the reality star in a hospital bed. Mellencamp had medical markings on her forehead and her head was shaved.
"Jeremiah 17:14: Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise," Arroyave wrote on Instagram.
"Lord, I lift up @teddimellencamp to You. You are the Great Healer, and I ask for Your healing touch upon her body. Restore her strength, renew her spirit, and let her feel Your comforting presence. Grant her peace, hope, and full recovery. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Mellencamp filed for divorce from Arroyave in November 2024 after 13 years of marriage, according to People.

Both concerned accusations of forcing oral sex on women in 2006. Those verdicts still stand. While the jury of seven women and five men was unanimous on those decisions, it got stuck on the rape charge involving another woman, Jessica Mann. The hairstylist and actor testified at length — as she did in 2020 — that Weinstein raped her amid a years-long consensual relationship. 'I will never give up on myself and making sure my voice – and the truth – is heard," Mann said in a statement Thursday, confirming she's ready to testify yet again. Tensions and disagreements among the jury began to emerge in public last Friday as one member asked to be excused because he felt another was being treated unfairly. On Monday, the foreperson complained that other jurors were pushing people to change their minds and talking about information beyond the charges. The man raised concerns again Wednesday, telling the judge he felt afraid in the jury room because another juror was yelling at him for sticking to his opinion and suggested the foreperson would 'see me outside.' When Judge Curtis Farber asked the foreperson Thursday whether he was willing to return to deliberations, the man said said no. And with that, Farber declared a mistrial on the rape count. Two jurors disputed the foreperson's account as they left court. One, Chantan Holmes, said that no one mistreated the man and that she believed he was just tired of deliberating. 'We all felt bad. Because we really wanted to do this. We put our hearts and souls in here,' she said. Another jury member, who identified himself only by his juror number, said the deliberations were contentious, but respectful. Who's returning to 'Spaceballs' sequel? What to know about the movie
Yogurt is coming back to the big screen for a 'Spaceballs' sequel. Oscar winner Mel Brooks will reprise his role as Yogurt in Amazon MGM Studios' new "Spaceballs" movie, reports Deadline. The studio made the announcement on June 12. Brooks, who directed and starred in the original 1987 'Star Wars' and sci-fi genre parody, will also be a producer. Yogurt is an alien who mentored protagonist Lone Starr (Bill Pullman) in the first movie. There's no word on the plot, but entertainment industry publication reports the new movie is described by folks who have yet to read the script as 'A Non-Prequel Non-Reboot Sequel Part Two but with Reboot Elements Franchise Expansion Film.' Brooks isn't the only "Spaceballs" cast member returning for the sequel. Bill Pullman and Rick Moranis, reprising their respective roles as Lone Starr and Dark Helmet, will star alongside the previously announced Josh Gad, according to Deadline. Meanwhile, Keke Palmer ('One of Them Days') has joined the cast. The original movie also starred John Candy and Daphne Zuniga. The sequel will be released in theaters in 2027. Josh Greenbaum will direct. Scriptwriters are Gad, Benji Samit and Dan Hernandez. Other producers are Gad with Imagine Entertainment's Brian Grazer and Jeb Brody, Brooks and Greenbaum. ‘Snow White' becomes Disney's worst-performing live-action remake in nearly 10 years
Disney's 'Snow White' reboot is leaving a legacy it certainly doesn't want, becoming the company's worst-performing wide-release live-action remake in almost 10 years. The 2025 remake of the original 1937 movie opened March 21 in the US and Canada, and has struggled, earning barely $200 million worldwide. The film's page on calls the movie 'officially a flop,' and says its $205.5 million earnings are 'miles behind its massive $410 million total cost,' including marketing, production, and other items. The site calls the film's disappointing performance 'a financial blow which few expected to be this severe, especially with the losses already estimated at over $115 million, per Collider.' 'Pete's Dragon,' a 2016 Disney remake of the 1977 film, came away with $143.7 million, $61.8 million less than 'Snow White.' The 'Snow White' remake was not without its controversies, which perhaps contributed to the film's poor reception. Over three years before the film's release, one A-list actor with dwarfism had Walt Disney Studios reframe how it portrayed the classic seven dwarfs characters.
