Jim Cramer on The Walt Disney Company: 'I'd Like You to Buy More'

The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) is one of the 15 stocks that Jim Cramer recently talked about. Acknowledging that their investment in the stock did not make them money, a caller inquired if they should sell The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS). In response, Cramer said: 'No, no. I think Disney's finally getting its feet right. I think that it had some management turnover. They're getting things, I like a lot of the things that Iger's doing now… I want you to stay. If anything, I'd like you to buy more…. Remember, we don't care where a stock came from, we care where it's going to. I think it's going higher.' A packed theater of moviegoers watching a blockbuster film produced by the entertainment company. Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS) creates and distributes a wide range of entertainment content as it operates streaming platforms, manages themed resorts, and sells consumer products. The company is also using its intellectual property across media, merchandise, and experiences. Additionally, Cramer favored the company stock even a few months ago, as he said in a February episode of Mad Money: 'You need someplace to go, don't you? I keep hounding you to buy the stock of Disney because it's doing so well. Yet all people seem to care about is that some weak link in the cable business that I think is gonna pick up this quarter anyway. Theme parks, yes, they are expensive, but it doesn't seem to stop people from going to them. While we acknowledge the potential of DIS as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk. Uber Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:UBER) is one of the 15 stocks that Jim Cramer recently talked about. A caller mentioned that the people are worried about Uber Technologies, Inc.'s (NYSE:UBER) autonomous driving when they should not be, and Cramer commented: 'I agree with you, especially with the setback of Elon. Look, I gotta tell you, I'm so with you… You and I, we are so simpatico…. I think your question and answer on Uber is yes, it goes higher…' A close up view of a hand holding a smartphone, using a ride sharing app. Uber (NYSE:UBER) designs and operates digital platforms that facilitate transportation, delivery, and freight logistics by connecting users with services through its proprietary technology. The company provides ride services, food and goods delivery, logistics solutions, and advertising tools for businesses. During a May episode of Mad Money, Cramer said that the stock can go higher for the long term, as he remarked: 'I'm thinking that even though Uber's up 45% for the year, you ain't seen nothing yet. I think the stock can go much higher over multiple years.' Jim Cramer Notes He Is 'Most Interested' in BlackRock's Upcoming Investor Day

BlackRock, Inc. (NYSE:BLK) is one of the 11 stocks on Jim Cramer's radar. Showing interest in BlackRock, Inc.'s (NYSE:BLK) upcoming Investor Day, Cramer said: 'Now, Thursday brings some analyst meetings that could move the needle…. The one that I'm most interested in is BlackRock, that's the largest money manager in the world. Larry Fink, he started it. My Charitable Trust owns shares in the stock, which is down more than 3% for the year. It has not worked out for me so far, but I am patient. Maybe, maybe BlackRock can tell a good story about assets gathered, further explain the top-notch technology they have. If the meeting's positive, I bet the stock goes positive for the year.' A professional asset manager making an investment decision at their office. BlackRock (NYSE:BLK) is an investment management company that provides risk management, advisory services, and a variety of investment products such as mutual funds, ETFs, and hedge funds. More than a month ago, when a caller asked about the company, Cramer commented: 'Look, we own it for the Charitable Trust. Candidly, we're down on it, and I don't like that when we're down on the stock, but we are. The stock has declined far more than I thought it would on what was a decent quarter. I agree with you, and I think it should be bought. That said, I've been wrong, but I think it should be bought in the long term. I think it'll be a great position.' While we acknowledge the potential of BLK as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk.
