MrBeast has urged fans to vote for his TV series Beast Games in the outstanding reality competition program and host categories in the upcoming Emmy awards.
Nomination voting for the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards began on June 12 and ends on June 23, ahead of the announcement of official nominations on July 15. There are 600 series in contention across the 15 program categories.
Speaking to Variety, MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, said he wants people to know of the efforts that have gone into making the show.
Beast Games is facing major competition from popular titles like RuPaul's Drag Race, The Traitors, The Amazing Race and Top Chef.
The biggest YouTuber across the globe with more than 402 million subscribers, MrBeast said it's hard to do theorised content on the video sharing platform, since people doing 10-episode shows "don't really do that well, because YouTube recommends random videos."
He said the plan was to do something where his team can go in depth and do more storytelling.
Asked how the show bolstered his YouTube viewership, MrBeast stated that it "wasn't a money play, per se."
"It did reach an audience, which was cool, and it had a higher female penetration than my YouTube channel does, so a lot of it was a different demo," he told the news outlet.
MrBeast highlighted that his team has set a standard that they follow and want their content to be viewed by people as a family and not have to worry about something they don't want their family to see.
On the response from viewers, MrBeast shared that several parents told him that it was a way for them to connect with their children.
In the second season of the TV series, MrBeast is planning to set the bar higher. He revealed that it will be more skill-based, a 'little less-like randomness."
Fans might not have to wait for too long for the Season 2 of Beast Games as he said they are actually in the middle of filming right now.
"The games are so good. (There are) epic sets. People's minds are gonna be blown with this season," he said.
Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, is the world's biggest YouTuber with more than 402 million subscribers.
According to MrBeast, the show reached 50 million viewers in just 25 days after its premiere on December 19 last year.
As of now, there is no official release date for Season 2 of Beast Games.

At 71, she is set to join the new season of The Traitors, a mystery game show on Peacock. While her appearance has excited fans, it has also brought back an old debate. Just days before the cast announcement in June 2025, one of her past Facebook posts began to spread online. Now, people are wondering how her strong opinions might play out in front of the cameras. Donna Kelce's reality tv debut sparks buzz ahead of show launch Donna Kelce, mother of NFL stars Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce, is stepping into the spotlight — not on a football field, but on a popular reality show. The 71-year-old mom is set to appear on Season 3 of The Traitors, a hit competition series on Peacock. The show, which will be filmed in a Scottish castle, mixes lies, mystery, and strategy as players try to spot secret 'traitors' among them. But days before the show's official cast list was revealed in June 2025, Donna dropped a hint on Instagram, writing, 'Sundays were just the beginning—I raised two playmakers, but now it's Mama's turn.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Esse dispositivo discreto está virando febre entre idosos com dor nos nervos. Donna Kelce stands her ground after old facebook post resurfaces On June 15, 2025, sports site The Spun shared a screenshot of a Facebook post Donna Kelce had written back in August 2023. In the post, Donna defended the Paris 2024 Olympic opening ceremony, which had faced criticism from some conservative viewers. 'The scene was a portrayal of a Greek Dionysus Feast celebration,' she wrote. She explained that Dionysus, also called Bacchus, is the Greek god of wine, fun, and celebration. Many people online called the event 'too wild' and 'inappropriate.' But Donna Kelce didn't back down. In the same post, she told critics, 'The French are known for their theatrics. The historical context and education surrounding the Olympics and its origins are important here. Many of you fell for the controversy in spun-up click-bait. Stop mindlessly sharing posts and do some research.' Her strong message drew both praise and backlash, but she never deleted it or said sorry. Even though her sons, Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce, don't talk much about politics, fans believe their actions and public choices show support for progressive views — something they may have learned from their mom. As The Traitors gets ready to air in late summer 2025, many viewers are now watching to see how Donna Kelce handles the drama inside the castle. Did Aamir Khan reject Rs 120 crore OTT deal for Sitaare Zameen Par, championing theatre-first release model? Here's what we know

Aamir Khan is once again taking an unconventional route with his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par. The actor has reportedly declined a massive Rs 120 crore offer from Amazon Prime Video for the film's digital rights, choosing instead to delay its OTT release in a bid to revive India's theatre-going culture. According to trade analyst Komal Nahta, Khan's decision is a calculated move to push audiences back into cinema halls. 'The idea is to make people choose the big screen experience again by not giving them the home-viewing option so soon," a source close to the development told News18. However, there has been no official statement from Aamir on the same. Aamir stands firm against early OTT releases Over the last few years, the industry has witnessed a swift shift toward streaming platforms, with most films dropping on OTT just a few weeks after their theatrical debut. Aamir Khan, however, believes this model has significantly contributed to the drop in footfalls at movie theatres. This isn't the first offer Khan has turned down either. Sources reveal that Netflix had also expressed interest in acquiring Sitaare Zameen Par, but the actor-producer reportedly declined that deal as well, firmly standing by a delayed digital release strategy.
