Shah Rukh Khan DIDN'T get injured on the sets of ‘King' - Here's what really happened

Time of India20-07-2025
In this day and age of the internet, rumours run faster than facts. Recently, a report related to Shah Rukh Khan's health got his fans worried. Several reports claimed that Shah Rukh Khan got injured on the sets of Siddharth Anand's film 'King,' and was travelling to the US and would eventually relocate to the UK to recover.
The alleged incident was reported to put a dent in the shooting schedule as well. However, according to the latest update, the aforementioned things hold no element of truth.
According to a NDTV report, these are all rumours. A source has verified that Shah Rukh Khan has experienced injuries during several shoots in the past, some of which can sometimes resurface. For his treatment and care, he frequently travels to the United States.
The report further stated that King Khan left for America in the second week of July and is expected to return by the end of the month.
Not a standalone incident
This is not the first time that false reports regarding SRK getting injured during a shoot set the internet abuzz. Earlier, too, there were rumours that he injured his nose during a shoot, but the truth was that it wasn't any mishap that took place on the sets; rather, a minor nasal surgery, not an injury from filming.

Exclusive: Mohit Suri reacts to Sidharth Anand's demand for a Saiyaara sequel

Siddharth Anand recently put out a tweet saying he loved 'Saiyaara', and he would want to see a follow-up . In a recent conversation with India Today, Mohit Suri spoke about the chances of a follow-up tracking the lead characters Krish Kapoor (Ahaan Panday) and Vaani (Aneet Padda). When asked to react to Siddharth Anand's tweet on the possibility of 'Saiyaara 2', Mohit said, 'That's the producer in him (laughs)!advertisement"I mean, for me, this was a culmination of a film by itself. We never know. I don't plan these film was never approached in that way . If you really had to approach it as a business module, I don't think, I think we failed on the first day, right? This was not a project. Because we didn't cast established people. We had a budget, which was like stretching ourselves a lot. We came at a time where people didn't believe this kind of genre existed. So if you ever really followed the trade magazines or the trade pundits or the business trends, which talks about sequels and franchises, this wasn't even a film that was ever mentioned. This didn't even come with the label that said from makers of this, we didn't even rely on those kind of trappings. We didn't do that. I think this was the most organic way to make a film. So I don't think we were even thinking about things like franchises and sequels.'Anand's tweet that Mohit was referring to read, "A little late to the party. Had heard so much about the film already. Apart from it being the blockbuster ofcourse. Went in to the film with all these expectations. And yet! Just LOVED IT!!!, (sic)."Take a look at the tweet: (Credit: X/justSidAnand) Featuring starry performances by Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, and backed by a moving soundtrack, the emotional drama has emerged as the year's second-biggest box office hit. In just 12 days, it earned over Rs 265 crore in India and crossed Rs 400 crore worldwide. It is produced by YRF and was released on July 18.- EndsTrending Reel

The entire Pokemon TCG Pocket Ho-Oh card controversy explained

Image via The Pokemon Company. The Wisdom of Sea and Sky expansion is here in Pokemon TCG Pocket. This expansion has brought so much new content into the game first-partner Pokemon Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile. Not only that, new trainers from the Johta region have also been added. However, the highlight of the expansion has to be legendary Pokemons - Lugia and Ho-Oh. But who have ever thought that one of these two cards would have been the reason for the biggest controversy in the game's history, that too, before the actual release of the expansion. Pokemon TCG Pocket gets slammed by plagiarism controversy The Wisdom of Sea and Sky expansion has dropped on July 30, 2025, in Pokemon TCG Pocket. But one day prior to that, the dataminers already leaked the highly anticipated rare cards for Ho-Oh EX (3-Star) and Lugia EX (3-Star). And this is where all the controversy began. The community noticed that the design of the Ho-Oh card holds uncanny similarities with a 2021 fan artwork by Chinese artists Ianjiujiu. This comparison sparked serious altercations as if the company used this design unintentionally or it didn't care to take any permission at all. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Free P2,000 GCash eGift UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo Even the artist himself went on to share a side-by-side comparison tweet of his work and the new Ho-Oh EX card in the game. It didn't take too long for Pokemon TCG Pocket to acknowledge its mistake as the official Twitter handle of the game has recently shared its response regarding the ongoing controversy. It says this is actually a 'production issue' by the card production team and it provided 'incorrect reference materials as official documents' , which happened to be the artwork by Ianjiujiu. The company also stated that both Ho-Oh EX and Lugia EX had been replaced by temporary placeholder cards displaying 'New art coming soon.' There has been no problem with the design of Lugia EX but as its animation featured Ho-Oh as part of a shared mural. So, Lugia's design was also removed as well. It is ensured by the company that it will conduct a broader investigation so that no similar issues ever exist elsewhere in the game. If it was any other card, there wouldn't have been this much controversy as Pokemon TCG Pocket would have pulled them out from the game. But both Ho-Oh EX and Lugia EX are one of the rarest cards in the game and both share each other's Immersive Art Animation. That's why this situation escalated so high.
