$1 Kmart item perfect for unexpected Easter use: 'Great idea'
Easter egg hunts are arguably one of the most joyful parts of the annual holiday. The activity brings families together as people race around the backyard trying to find as many chocolate eggs as possible, and can also be just as fun for the person organising the scavenger hunt.
While Easter egg hunts are typically created for children to partake in, one social media user has gone viral after sharing a video of an 'adult Easter egg hunt'. Mother-of-two Tina (@justatinabit) told her followers that she organised a version of the classic game to get adults involved in the Easter celebrations.

She purchased a packet of gold easter eggs and filled them with hand-written notes that read, 'You won a prize', 'Take a shot' and 'Give a shot', as well as money. Tina then hid the eggs in higher locations where the kids wouldn't be able to reach them, and everyone set off on a hunt at the same time.
'Afterwards, everyone opened up their eggs together, redeemed their prizes, and of course, gave and took the shots,' she said in the video. 'This is a fun way to spice up a kid's party. Bottoms up!'
While Tina is based in the US, you can easily recreate the hack in Australia using Kmart's four-pack of Easter Gold Look Hunt Eggs for $1. The retailer also sells a 12-pack of Easter Assorted Hunt Eggs for $3.50 and a 40-pack Easter Hunt Eggs Bucket for $6.
Tina's video has since racked up over half a million views across TikTok and Instagram, with many people commenting that they can't wait to try it themselves.
'I love it! Adults should get a chance to look for eggs too!' one person wrote, while another added, 'Such a great idea!'.
"My family wants to do an adult hunt this weekend!' a third replied, followed by someone else who said, 'How fun is this! Adults get to play too'.
'Fun way to spice up a kids' party, I'm down for it,' a different user shared, with another writing, 'Now this is a solid plan'.
If you're looking for other fun activities to enjoy with your family this Easter, comedian and father-of-three Jimmy Rees tells Yahoo Lifestyle that he loves organising an egg and spoon race.
The former children's entertainer recently posted a video running down the driveway with a Nestlé KitKat Incredible Egg - which has an extra-thick shell to prevent breakage if it drops on the ground - while his kids tried to stop him from reaching the finish line.
'We've got this tennis ball machine, and they were like, 'We'll just throw things at you! Let's get the electric tennis ball firing machine, and we'll just fire them at you while you're running down the driveway',' he recalls. 'I was like, 'Okay, you've all turned evil, but that's fine'.
'It turned out well, lots of slo-mo silliness which was fun.'

Jimmy adds that he and his wife Tori always organise a 'massive' Easter egg hunt for their children, but reuse eggs that they've already been given.
'We often reuse the eggs that they get from the Easter Bunny to do another Easter egg hunt because they just like finding them again,' he remarks. 'Reusing the eggs is genius, because they get so many and they can't count them.'

Video: Puppy's First Haircut Is a ‘Great Success' & Here's How It Went
Pet parents know that their furry babies are afraid of going to the barber's or getting a trim – that and bath time. But this little puppy, a tiny Golden Retriever from California, appeared extremely enthusiastic about his first haircut in an adorable Instagram video that has since gone viral and charmed many. The pup named Hugo sat on the salon chair, almost looking like an adult, behaving himself, and trying to stay still while the barber faked chopping his fur. We can fairly deduce that this new adventure was a 'great success.' This little Golden guy went for his first haircut, exhibited gentleman-like behavior, and won the hearts of many, along with endless praises. In a delightful Instagram video, a puppy named Hugo found his way to a salon and ended up getting a fake trim, which was a complete success in his opinion. It may be true that our furry friends fear going to the barber's, but Hugo proved he's not a little boy anymore and flaunted his bold side and big moves in the post. In the clip, the Golden Retriever pup sat on the salon chair as he geared up for his first haircut session. Unlike other pooches, he seemed totally amped for the barber to dive right into the job and make his look even more dashing. Meanwhile, Hugo's owner captured the thrilling moment of him showing off the biggest grin on his face without a hint of fear. The subtext also conveyed his inner thoughts, 'I want get crimpy hair on my ears.' A lot of smiles, occasionally checking up if his hair looked okay, and a little bit of chaos summed up the puppy's haircut video. While the barber pretended to chop off the little guy's fur, he conducted himself with grace and dignity while trying his best to stay as still as possible. The final results? A 'handsum' and fluffy boy, who did his owner proud and even received love and compliments from the other hoomans. Commenters promptly highlighted how 'handsome,' 'well behaved,' and 'grown' Hugo looked in the video. Meanwhile, a few more pointed out that the Golden Retriever appeared 'so fancy' and 'beautiful.' Puppy Left Feeling 'So Mad' at New Owners, Reason Goes Viral
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. A Hungarian Vizsla puppy has gone viral on TikTok after sulking in an adorably dramatic fashion when told off for biting his dad's hand. Annalee (@otisbegotus), from Georgia, shared a clip of her 12-week-old puppy, Otis, lying flat on his back, visibly upset after being scolded for playful biting. His mood worsened when his pawrents laughed at him. The video struck a chord online, racking up more than 47,000 likes and almost 300,000 views on TikTok. "He sometimes will sulk if we tell him no, but that video was the most dramatic sulk yet. He usually is very playful and happy! His skin is so loose, and he has so many wrinkles that it just makes him look like even more of a grumpy old man when he pouts," Annalee told Newsweek. In the now-viral video, Otis lies limp and unimpressed while his dad, Jake, strokes his leg with a concerned arm around him. When Annalee asks, "Are you mad?", the puppy responds with a pointed side-eye that viewers have called Oscar-worthy. A split image showing Otis the puppy sulking. A split image showing Otis the puppy sulking. @otisbegotus/@otisbegotus According to Annalee, Otis is a clever and affectionate pup who loves to cuddle and be close to his humans. She described him as having a "big personality" and being "very sassy," often responding to their questions with whines and vocalizations. He enjoys playing fetch and starting his day outdoors listening to the birds. The dramatic episode began when Otis was sitting in Jake's lap, nibbling on his hands with his sharp puppy teeth. After being told "no," he stopped immediately—but the playtime cutoff didn't go down well. His pouty face and full-body sulk made it clear he wasn't ready to quit. Despite his theatrical tendencies, Annalee said, Otis is a wonderful companion. "He's such a great pup and we are so lucky to have him. He's going to make a great life companion!" For those dealing with similar puppy antics, charity Dogs Trust advises teaching puppies to stop biting by redirecting their attention to toys, using consistent commands, and ensuring they have plenty of stimulation and rest. Puppies often explore the world with their mouths, but with calm, reward-based training, most grow out of the behavior. Otis's emotional spiral resonated with many dog owners in the comments. "Our viz is almost 7 and he still stomps his feet, strops if we dare go up to bed later than 9pm, and puts his gums up if we don't understand what he's whining to us about. But he is my best friend in the whole world," shared Gem. "Don't you dare laugh at that sweet boy ever again … he's sensitive," added Ashley. A third user wrote: "My puppy was just like this. A simple 'No' sends him into a shame spiral. The benefit is he only needs told no once and he'll never do it again." One Vizsla owner posted: "My older vizsla could tell when you were making fun of her or laughing at her and let me tell you, she did NOT like that." 'Liver King' Arrested in Austin After Bizarre Joe Rogan Comments
The social media and fitness influencer known as the "Liver King" was arrested in Austin, TX. That's according to KXAN-TV, which reported that the "Liver King's" real name is Brian Johnson, and jail records showed him in custody on the evening of June 24. The jail records obtained by Men's Journal online do confirm that a Brian Johnson is being held on a potential charge of making terroristic threats. He was booked at 7:31 p.m. on June 24 by the Austin Police Department, the jail records say. Sources told KXAN that the Johnson on the jail list is the same person as the "Liver King." The Liver King was featured on Untold: The Liver King on Netflix. "He built a supplement empire by devouring raw meat on social media. And he had the muscles to prove it. But, really, how did the Liver King get so huge?" the Netflix caption reads. The nature of the alleged threats is not clear, nor is the person they were made against. However, the "Liver King" recently posted about Rogan: "Joe Rogan, I'm calling you out, my name's Liver King. Man to man, I'm picking a fight with you. I have no training in Jiu-jitsu, you're a black belt, you should dismantle me. But I'm picking a fight with you. Your rules, I'll come to you, whenever you're ready.' It's not clear whether the Rogan comments have anything to do with the Liver King's arrest, though. The Liver King has 2.9 million followers on Instagram. The top video on the Liver King's page shows a man in a police uniform. Another video starts with the narration, "I'm now recording with the cops outside." A video was captioned, "Liver king is stood in a shower pouring coffee up his arse picking a fight with Joe rogan before GTA 6." Another video also referenced Rogan.'Liver King' Arrested in Austin After Bizarre Joe Rogan Comments first appeared on Men's Journal on Jun 25, 2025
