Where To Watch The ‘New Heights' Podcast In Advance Of Taylor Swift's Rumored New Album Drop
Easter eggs are music to Taylor Swift fans' ears, and Monday brought a potential slew of them for Swifties online hoping that the singer-songwriter extraordinaire is going to drop a new album soon. Travis (Swift's boyfriend) and Jason Kelce teased 'a special episode with a VERY special guest' of their New Heights podcast this week with a picture of the two brothers over a sparkly orange background. In between them is a woman's silhouette. While the words 'NEW HEIGHTS SPECIAL PREMIERES WEDNESDAY' are blocking it, Jason appears to be wearing a sweatshirt from the Eras tour. Shortly after this announcement went live — as many Swifties noted online, exactly 12 minutes after the news broke — Swift's social team, Taylor Nation, shared a post featuring 12 pictures of Swift dressed in orange looks during her Eras tour. 'Thinking about when she said 'See you next era…' ,' the post is captioned. Why the number 12 is so important here is that if the speculation is true, this would mark Swift's 12th studio album, following Taylor Swift (2006), Fearless (2008), Speak Now (2010), Red (2012), 1989 (2014), Reputation (2017), Lover (2019), Folklore (2020), Midnight (2022), and The Tortured Poets Department (2024). My first album went gold in 13 weeks. My first No. 1 song had a 13-second intro. Every time I've won an award I've been seated in either the 13th seat, the 13th row, the 13th section or row M, which is the 13th letter,' she explained. 'Basically whenever a 13 comes up in my life, it's a good thing.' Kelce also kicked off his 13th NFL season on Saturday (Aug. 9). when the Kansas City Chiefs faced off in a preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals. Jenna Bush Hager Complains On ‘Today' About Taylor Swift Announcing Her Album At Midnight: 'Why Can't They Drop It At 12 p.m.?'
Today's Jenna Bush Hager may be a devoted Taylor Swift fan, but she is also an infamously early riser, which means she sadly missed the news about Swift's 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl when it dropped at midnight Aug. 11. Bush Hager and Today guest host Erin Andrews gushed about the news during Tuesday's broadcast. While Bush Hager was thrilled about the news – and to see Swift on her boyfriend Travis Kelce's podcast – she also had some minor complaints about the announcement. 'You know I'm a Swiftie, but why does she have to drop everything at midnight?' Bush Hager asked. When Andrews launched into a silly rendition of Swift's 'Midnights,' Bush Hager said, 'No, I get it. I get it.' 'It's her thing!' Andrews said. 'It's too late for you.' 'I think everybody drops things at midnight. Why can't she drop it at 12 p.m.?' Bush Hager wondered. But Andrews defended the midnight release, which has become increasingly popular for artists in the streaming era. 'It's her thing! It's what makes her so magical. I love it so much,' Andrews said. Bush Hager later pointed out that Andrews is also quite 'friendly' with Swift and Kelce. The sports journalist went on a snowy getaway with them back in March, and she only had good things to say about the couple. 'What do you think about the fact that she announced it on his podcast?' Bush Hager asked Andrews. 'I think for them to announce it on his podcast confirms everything that all of us Swifties would hope, which is that they've got something really great going on.' Andrews admitted that the sneak peek into Swift's upcoming appearance on the New Heights podcast, which airs Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET, had her 'squealing like a little girl.' 'They are so fun to be around,' Andrews said. 'Everybody already knows his personality. He's hilarious, he's super swaggy, he's so fun. She is hysterical, so witty… I'm so excited for this podcast to drop tomorrow.' But Andrews played coy when Bush Hager asked if she could see them 'walking down the aisle soon.' 'I don't know,' Andrews said. 'I hope so, I hope so! I love love and it's fun to be around them.' Today with Jenna & Friends airs on weekdays at 10/9c on NBC. Solve the daily Crossword

Erin Andrews' Dad Made The Sweetest Admission About His Daughter
Erin Andrews' Dad Made The Sweetest Admission About His Daughter originally appeared on The Spun. Erin Andrews shared a heartwarming moment with her father during an emotional TV interview. Andrews and Steve Andrews, a former award-winning investigative reporter, appeared together on Tuesday's TODAY with Jenna & Friends. Before their interview, the show played a pre-recorded segment of Steve discussing all the adversity his daughter her overcome. The segment ended with a touching soundbite. "I hope that I have been as good of a dad to her as she's been a daughter to me," he said. In the studio together, Steve continued to praise Erin for her achievements outside of FOX's NFL broadcasting team. He recalled her anonymously picking up the tab for service members at an airport and volunteering to give up her first-class seat when one passed her in the plane. "I'm overwhelmed with pride," he said. "It goes beyond, it goes so beyond the sideline reporting." "But you learn it from your parents," Andrews replied after previously calling Steve an "amazing" father. As the Andrews family recalled on TODAY, Erin has endured some harrowing experiences. A stalker secretly filmed her through the peephole of a hotel door as she undressed in 2008. Steve recalled her advocating for stricter legislation through Congress to help others suffering through the same situation. The sideline reporter was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2016. Andrews quickly returned to work days after undergoing successful surgery. "It's scary to hear your child on the phone calling you and saying, 'I have cancer,'" Steve recalled. "I wanted to cry. I was brokenhearted. You have conversations with your God, and as a dad, I just said, 'Let her be OK. Take me, let her be OK.' It was hard." Erin and her husband, former NHL player Jarret Stoll, also underwent years of in-vitro fertilization before welcoming a son through a surrogate two years ago. A previous surrogate had a miscarriage. "Erin is such a fighter," Steve said. "In broadcasting, when you get knocked down, you have to be able to get back up. And Erin has experienced these physical, traumatic incidents, and you would think for the average person ... you're done. "She just used that as motivation to say, 'This is not going to beat me, and they are not going to stop me from what I want to accomplish.' And honestly, I don't know that I have it in me to do what she did. She's just so strong. So amazing."
