With vibrant Marrakesh city life and serene desert wonders at its heart, H&M Studio brings together harmonious contrasts and an emphasis on craftsmanship for their Resort 2025 Capsule collection. Airy summer dresses, kaftans and knits meet bold, minimalistic silhouettes in tailoring and denim separates. Radiating with confidence, each piece is ready for a magical summer getaway – and beyond. The H&M Studio Resort Capsule will be available in selected stores and at hm.com from 8th of May 2025.
'For the H&M Studio Resort Capsule collection, we turned to the vivid sights of Marrakesh and serene beauty of the surrounding desert. There's an eye for intricate detail and love of craftsmanship that we also wanted to bring through with the different embellishments and embroidery, but also shapes of necklines and hems. The result is dreamy yet fierce and modern,' says Kathrin Deutsch, collection designer at H&M Studio .
The H&M Studio Resort 2025 capsule collection draws inspiration from Marrakesh's vibrant city life and serene desert landscapes. Featuring airy dresses, kaftans and structured tailoring, the collection balances craftsmanship with bold silhouettes. Key pieces include embellished cotton jackets, curved-leg jeans and printed kaftans in a palette of terracotta, beige, black, white and vibrant blues.
The colour palette ranges from calming terracotta and sandy beiges with black and crisp white to the most vibrant blues. Materials include linen, cotton and chiffon that move with ease. Key pieces include a cropped beige cotton jacket with a curved statement neckline, stud embellishment and heavily embroidered pattern. It can be paired with the engineered curved-leg beige jeans that have studs along the side seams. Printed full-length kaftans flow beautifully in custom patchwork prints that layer iconic Moroccan motifs.
A black cropped waistcoat features contrast stitching, covered buttons, beading on the hem, raised piping, and small tassels. The dusty blue maxi-dress has sheer sleeves, stud detailing overlay, ruching and a cut-out back. A white shirt in heavy cotton poplin with a curved hem also has cut-out details at the side for an edgier feel. Matching wide-leg trousers have a slouchier look with a drawstring waist and tassel details.
Accessories in the capsule include a terracotta bikini with asymmetric top, golden flat mules with knot-detailing, rope high heel sandals, a light terracotta suede bag with whipstitch detailing and golden details, sunglasses, a tassel necklace and earrings embellished with studs and crystal beads. Strongest Boy Alive: Savera's Deeply Personal Debut EP Captures Solitude And Healing

Last Updated: Savera releases his debut solo EP Strongest Boy Alive, a self-produced, Hindi-language record exploring love, loss, and healing through seven emotional tracks. Savera, one of the most distinctive voices in India's music scene, has just released his highly awaited debut solo EP, Strongest Boy Alive. Known for his popular work in Bollywood, including acclaimed tracks like Jaadu from Netflix's Jewel Thief, and hits like Doobey from Gehraiyaan and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Savera now steps into a more intimate, introspective space with this seven-track offering, written, composed, and produced entirely by him. The EP, which dropped on June 14, opens a new chapter in Savera's artistic evolution. Made in solitude, it is a vulnerable, self-reflective record shaped during long walks, quiet days of surfing, and deep personal stillness. The latest single from the EP, Galtiyaan, featuring vocalist Nikhita Gandhi, was released a day prior to the full project and captures the restless pulse of Mumbai — its noise, blur, and emotional chaos. It's a song about seeking connection in the wrong places, only to be left emptier than before. Earlier, Savera had released Aahista and Veer Mere — the latter in collaboration with Punjabi artist Burrah — both of which received warm appreciation from fans. Each track on Strongest Boy Alive reveals a different layer of emotional complexity. From the calm introspection of Aahista to the quiet sorrow in Veer Mere, the late-night confusion of Galtiyaan, the glimmer of optimism in Fiza, the acceptance in Deewar, and the emotional core in the title track Strongest Boy Alive, this EP is more than a collection of songs. It is a gentle reckoning. The final track, Aahista (Acoustic), is accompanied by a performance video on Savera's YouTube channel. Speaking about the EP, Savera says, 'This isn't a concept project, but it is written in stillness, reflection, the quiet mess of being human. These songs weren't made to impress anyone. They were made while slowing down, while trying to make sense of things — love, mistakes, grief, healing. It's not perfect. But it's honest." Savera's musical journey began long before the fame. Raised on his grandmother's poetry, he picked up the guitar at eight, formed a punk rock band in his early teens, and began shaping a unique voice that blends raw emotion with sonic craftsmanship. He cut his teeth composing over 500 brand pieces for companies like H&M, Nissan, and Taj, before making his breakthrough in Bollywood. His work on Gehraiyaan in collaboration with OAFF catapulted him to widespread recognition, with Doobey alone crossing 125 million Spotify streams. He has since received accolades including the Mirchi Music Award for Best Upcoming Music Composer and an IIFA nomination for Best Music Director. Now based in Goa, Savera leads a life far from the industry spotlight, often off the grid, grounded by the sea, music, chess, and his pets. That quiet lifestyle pulses through every note on Strongest Boy Alive, a body of work that marks a bold and heartfelt entry into India's independent music landscape. The EP is now available on all leading streaming platforms. First Published: June 14, 2025, 18:58 IST

Immigration's Impact on the US Hotel Industry: A Growing Crisis, ET HospitalityWorld

A U.S. crackdown on foreign-born workers could spell trouble for the hotel and hospitality industry, which has lobbied for years to expand the pathways for immigration to the United States to help fill over 1 million job vacancies. U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday he would issue an immigration order soon, following a social media post in which he cited labour issues in the farm and hotel industries stemming from his immigration crackdown. But on Friday, the Washington Post reported that no such policy changes were under way, according to three people with knowledge of the administration's immigration policies. Advt Advt In 2024, travel supported the jobs of 15 million U.S. workers and directly employed 8 million, with approximately one-third of those workers immigrants, according to the U.S. Travel Association and American Hotel and Lodging Association . There are about 1 million job openings in and resorts have struggled to find enough Americans willing to work hospitality jobs, including seasonal or temporary jobs at ski resorts and amusement parks. The leisure and hospitality industries have quit rates higher than all other industries. The accommodation and food services subsector has experienced a quit rate consistently around or above 4 percent since July 2022, according to the U.S. Chamber of 71 percent of the hotels that had job openings were unable to fill them despite active searches, according to a 2024 survey conducted by AHLA and Hireology, an employee management platform.U.S. Travel and AHLA have lobbied Congress for broader pathways for legal immigration in an effort to close these industry's priority was to push for expanding the H-2B visa program , which was capped at 66,000 visas a year, to bring more seasonal workers to the United March 2024, then-President Joe Biden signed the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, which authorizes the Department of Homeland Security to increase the number of H-2B temporary nonagricultural workers if the agency determines there are not enough American workers "willing, qualified, and able to perform temporary nonagricultural labor."DHS and the Department of Labor in December published a joint temporary final rule increasing the limit on H-2B non-immigrant visas for fiscal year industry also supported legislation that looked to make it easier for temporary workers to return to the U.S. and allow people seeking asylum to work as soon as 30 days after applying for executives, including those from Marriott and Hilton, have talked about the need for practical immigration solutions for years."One of the most important issues in our industry for time and eternity has been workforce ... and the need for comprehensive immigration reform ," Hilton Worldwide CEO Chris Nassetta said at the Americas Lodging Investment Summit in January, according to a report by Travel union Unite HERE, which represents thousands of workers in U.S. hotels, casinos, and airports, a majority of whom are immigrants, said the union will continue to fight "the increasingly arbitrary rules" about who can and cannot live and travel to the United Culinary Workers Union, which represents hospitality workers in Las Vegas, rallied against escalating Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids in Nevada and pushed back against claims the Trump administration was only responding to people breaking the law.(Reporting by Doyinsola Oladipo in New York; additional reporting by Aishwarya Jain in Bengaluru; editing by Rod Nickel) Join the community of 2M+ industry professionals. Taste of Morocco: A feast for your senses

Each dish was garnished with love, and every bite brought an explosion of flavours to the palate — that's exactly how the Taste of Morocco food festival at Novotel Airport felt. As the season shifts, there couldn't be a better time to explore the warmth and richness of Moroccan cuisine, known for its bold spices, earthy ingredients, and comforting textures. Curated by Head Chef Amanna Raju, the festival is a true treat for those looking to indulge in a culinary journey that's both exotic and soulful. We began our experience with a trio of refreshing salads — a crunchy green vegetable medley, a zesty fish-based salad, and a unique preparation with khus khus (poppy seeds) that left a delightful aftertaste. Setting the perfect tone for the monsoon weather, we were then served Shorba ma Sherwja, a traditional Moroccan soup made with grilled chicken. It was warm, hearty, and deeply satisfying — exactly what you'd crave on a rainy evening. Next came a platter of fresh Hummus, creamy Labneh, and smoky Muhammara, accompanied by both baked and fried pita bread. It was fun and interactive — tearing the pita and pairing it with the spreads made for a deliciously hands-on experience. Lost in conversation with Chef Raju, we didn't even realise when the plate was empty!
