Amazon shoppers can grab a bargain on the gin endorsed by Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds, which became immensely popular in Wales after his significant Wrexham AFC buyout. This celebrity-backed gin, sold as being "fantastic for cocktails" is now more affordable online compared to supermarket prices.
Aviation American Gin was owned by the Wrexham AFC's Ryan Reynolds in 2016 but entered into Diageo's portfolio in 2020. Despite the acquisition, Reynolds continues to hold an "ongoing ownership interest" and acts as the face of the brand.
Right now, it is included in the Amazon Essentials promotion as the gin offers a temporary discount. Shoppers usually pay £34 for a 70cl bottle but can now obtain it for £23, presenting a saving of nearly 33%.
The "distinguished gin" is renowned for its unique blend of botanicals within each bottle. Predominantly juniper-flavoured, it also includes a mix of cardamom, coriander, French lavender, anise seed, sarsaparilla, and 'two kinds of orange peel'.
Fans who purchased this spirit from Amazon have shared glowing endorsements. One shopper said: "Having tasted a number of gins over the year, this is by far the best that I have ever tasted. It's got a little kick to it and is slightly spiced. I have not tasted anything like this previously."

Another added: "With all the various fruit-based gins flooding the market, it's reassuring to find a solid, no-nonsense, traditional dry gin that ticks all the boxes!" A third shared: "Absolutely gorgeous, it is such a fresh and smooth flavour!"
While the lowest ratings didn't go below three stars, not every customer was happy with. One wrote that the gin "lacks flavour", claiming: "The botanicals are very weak and with a non-flavoured tonic the taste isn't nice at all. If you decide to try this, buy a flavoured tonic such as elderflower."
Another shopper claimed: "It's a pretty average gin to be honest with quite a chemical taste. I usually drink Hendricks but thought I'd try something new, and with all the hype, thought I would give this a try, but it just isn't to my taste."

Shoppers who are fans of the drink might want to take advantage of the current Amazon deal. Its offer is more affordable than Morrisons, which lists the same bottle for £30.
More shoppers had praise for the drink online. There is another shopper who shared: "After being caught up in Ryan Reynold's journey with Wrexham, I tried the gin and was instantly hooked. It isn't just Hollywood hype - it is a really good gin."
A fifth reviewer commented: "I have tried expensive and overhyped gins that frankly do not have a patch on Aviation. Decently priced, good quality and great flavour."

Jeremy Clarkson's furious response as fan complains about £24 steak pie at pub
TV's Clarkson's Farm star Jeremy Clarkson has hit back at a moaning customer who complained about the price of the steak pie at his pub - and told them 'enjoy your chlorine' Jeremy Clarkson hit back at customers grumbling about the £24 price tag on his pub's steak pie, cheekily retorting: "Enjoy your chlorine". The star of Clarkson's Farm, 65, has insisted on paying 'premium' prices for top-quality local beef for the pies served up at The Farmer's Dog, the pub showcased in the Amazon series. Clarkson suggested that those balking at the cost could resort to less scrumptious, chemically-treated alternatives. The sharp-tongued ex Top Gear presenter delivered the rebuff following criticism from a disgruntled punter who contacted him on social media, griping: "Thought @JeremyClarkson wanted an affordable pub for customers. £24 for pie and veg is a bit much." Never one to shy away from a challenge, Clarkson fired back: "Have you seen beef prices right now? If you could make it for less, I'll give you a job." In response to another query, "Your cows aren't they Jeremy?" Clarkson clarified: "Some are. Most come from other farmers in the area and we pay a premium. We are here to back British farming. If you don't want to do that, fine. Enjoy your chlorine." The recent series of Clarkson's Farm documents Clarkson's struggle against soaring expenses as he opens his pub near Diddly Squat Farm in Chipping Norton, Oxon. One memorable episode saw him gagging from the foul odour while rehabilitating the pub's old septic tank. Since launching in August with a commitment to only offering local fare, The Farmer's Dog has garnered widespread acclaim – despite Clarkson conceding he was at one stage losing £10 per patron. Its current menu lists 'steak pie, mash, carrots, seasonal greens and Hawkstone gravy' for the sum of £24. The pub's website boasts: "Our menu is made entirely with ingredients produced on British farms. It'll change based on what's in season, but it'll always be absolutely f****** delicious. Take a look and see what takes your fancy." Some on X slammed the pie as 'f****** extortionate' and labelled him 'tight', with one quipping: "At least Dick Turpin wore a mask." Yet, many rallied behind him - especially those who've sampled the pie themselves, with suggestions even coming in that he should hike the price further. A fan took to Twitter, proclaiming: "Was the best £24 spent! Fantastic meal there, great food and all local produce - stop whinging!". Another enthusiast simply exclaimed: "Ah! But what pie". And another chimed in: "Worth every penny." A regular at Clarkson's establishment declared: "Best pub in the world is not for you, stick to McDonalds." Meanwhile, patron Jason Rees shared: "Having eaten in @JeremyClarkson's pub and expecting it to be over hyped and average I was so impressed with the food we rebooked, as soon as we could, to repeat the experience." He added: "It's not cheap food but the quality was outstanding." Corrie icon Vicky Entwistle, 56, famed for her role as Janice Battersby and her stint in Celebrity Big Brother, commented: "I think that price is want to visit my village pub up north the prices are through the roof." Another supporter commented: "I'm guessing it's using unprocessed ingredients and fresh veg. There's a saying you get what you pay for. You could have a Dacia Duster pie meal for £10 rr a Mercedes pie for £24." Yet another addressed a complainer, saying: "You must be a complete idiot! £4 is vat Then you take off the price of the fresh ingredients, then the staffs salary, Nat ins, and employer pension contribution, then the non domestic rates, gas and electric, rent. There will not be much left at all. Price should be £30."

Inside Leeds stars' wild title celebrations as Bamford and Ampadu 'leave Burnley fanbase in meltdown' with karaoke song Daniel Farke's side are returning to the Premier League after two seasons out. Iconic sports brand returns to English football for first time in 13 years as Championship side announce partnership
REEBOK has made a sensational return to the English football market for the first time in 13 YEARS. Newly promoted Championship side Charlton has announced a new partnership with the global sports brand. As part of the multi-year agreement, Reebok will serve as Charlton's official kit supplier. It therefore brings an end to Charlton's association with Castore, who had produced the club's kits since 2022. CEO of Sports Hub Brands, Reebok's UK licensee, John Carden said: ' Charlton has a rich footballing legacy. 'And an incredibly passionate fanbase. At Reebok, we share this deep-rooted appreciation for history and the drive to innovate. 'This partnership marks an exciting step forward in our mission to reclaim our place in team sports, bringing our unique vision and craftsmanship to the pitch.' Reebok's last appearance in the EFL came more than a decade ago with Bolton - the Greater Manchester town where the brand was originally formed in 1895. Charlton, who celebrated promotion after beating Leyton Orient 1-0 in the League One play-off final at Wembley, announced the deal with a short red-tinted video on X on Sunday. Addicks fans can expect the new kits to be available for purchase ahead of the 2025/26 season. 3 The now American-owned footwear and clothing company began working with Bolton in the 90s. Like Charlton, Bolton welcomed Reebok weeks after winning promotion back to the Premier League in the 1996-97 season. EFL club release 'gorgeous work of art' kit and even rival fans want to buy it Between 1997 and 2012 their partnership encompassed shirt sponsorship, kit manufacture and stadium naming rights. It was the longest kit partnership in English football history, before it abruptly ended in 2014. Bolton's kit manufacturer then changed to Italian sportswear brand Macron, who became stadium sponsors for four years. Charlton Board member Ed Warrick added: 'We're delighted to welcome Reebok to our family. 'Their commitment to performance, culture, and innovation aligns perfectly with our club values. 'Our fans are going to love what Reebok has created, and as we step up a level on the pitch and we look forward to building a lasting legacy together.'
