Aviation American Gin was owned by the Wrexham AFC's Ryan Reynolds in 2016 but entered into Diageo's portfolio in 2020. Despite the acquisition, Reynolds continues to hold an "ongoing ownership interest" and acts as the face of the brand. Right now, it is included in the Amazon Essentials promotion as the gin offers a temporary discount. Shoppers usually pay £34 for a 70cl bottle but can now obtain it for £23, presenting a saving of nearly 33%. The "distinguished gin" is renowned for its unique blend of botanicals within each bottle. Predominantly juniper-flavoured, it also includes a mix of cardamom, coriander, French lavender, anise seed, sarsaparilla, and 'two kinds of orange peel'.
