Made In Chelsea's Maeva D'Ascanio Shares Sweet Pregnancy News

Graziadaily5 days ago

There's baby news in SW1, as Made In Chelsea star Maeva D'Ascanio has announced she is pregnant with her second child!
Maeva, who already shares a son with her husband James Taylor, shared the sweet news on Instagram last night with a video of her showing off her bump. In the video, she shows the scan to her son Beau, while he kisses her stomach.
In the post, Maeva revealed they were expecting a girl. She wrote in the caption: 'We can't wait to meet you pretty little girl @jamestaylorldn.'
Naturally, Maeva's Made In Chelsea co-stars were quick to share their congratulations in the comments. Inga Valentiner wrote 'congratulations!', and Sam Prince, Yasmine Zweegers and Reza Amiri-Garroussi all shared their well wishes.
Maeva joined Made In Chelsea back in 2019, by surprising her ex Miles Nazaire. She's had her fair share of drama on the show, before finding love with her current husband and co-star James. In an interview with Hello, Maeva spoke about their engagement. 'I feel protected - being engaged to the man of my dreams is amazing. It's a different love, it's stronger, it's deeper. I feel safe,' she said.
Maeva gave birth to Beau in November 2022. In their announcement interview with Hello , James discussed how he felt about becoming a new parent. 'We are more excited every day. My dad told me that when he had his first child, he never thought he could love something so much. And I'm starting to get an inkling of that feeling as this baby growing in Maeva's tummy is pretty special,' he said.
Maeva also discussed motherhood in an interview with Grazia last year. Being a full-time mother is Maeva's 'favourite job', and she said, continuing: 'I have to say that my child is absolutely amazing, obviously he's my child,' she says. But the 'terrible twos' are approaching, and Beau is 'very, very active, and I would say that he's not an easy baby, so it's a lot for me. It's constant. It's a lot of energy 24/7. He's very alert, he gets everything, understands everything. But he's quite hyperactive, I have to say, so it's very intense all the time. That's what's good about him as well.'
However, it hasn't all been plain sailing for the couple. In recent episodes of Made In Chelsea, which were filmed earlier this year, admitted Tristan Phipps that the couple were in the 'lowest place they'd ever been'. Meanwhile, at dinner with Tristan and his girlfriend Julia Pollard, Maeve broke down in tears while talking about their relationship, saying they were 's**t at the moment.'
However, the pair reconnected on a trip away shortly after. In later scenes, James told his friends that the couple were getting to a good place again, and that Maeve was 'back in love with him'.

Sorry singer Justin, who was recently centre of rumours surrounding his marriage to Hailey, was recently slammed by fans after he said he told his wife and mum of his son, Jack Blues, that she would never grace the cover of Vogue during a heated argument. Responding to her cover shot for the US edition of the magazine on Instagram, he mused: "'Yo, this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight, I told Hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue. Yikes, I know, so mean. For some reason because I felt so disrespected, I thought I gotta get even. ‌ "Think as we mature we realise that we're not helping anything by getting even, we're honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection." He concluded his post by writing a message directly to Hailey, which read: "So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn't get a Vogue cover cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken." While some claimed he was simply joking, many slammed the Canadian singer over his comments. He soon replaced the caption with a shrugging emoji. Fans noticed the change, with one writing: "Not him changing the caption." ‌ Not long after, it was revealed Hailey struck a huge deal to sell her beauty and skincare brand Rhode to e.l.f. Beauty in a transaction that could reach a staggering £740 million ($1billion).

A teaser of the vinyl also revealed the words: 'Inside of your head when you've just won an argument with a man.' While Sabrina didn't explicitly say it was about Irish actor Barry Keoghan – who is set to play Ringo Starr in the upcoming four-part Beatles biopic film series – fans wasted no time in believing it was about the pair, considering their split last year. Sabrina and Barry were first connected in September 2023, making their first public appearance together at Grammys after-party in February 2024. They later attended the MET Gala together, with Barry being seen on the side of the stage throughout some of Sabrina's performances. The actor, who shot to fame in Saltburn and Banshees of Inisherin, later had a starring role in her music video for Please Please Please, which depicts the story of a woman deciding to ignore warnings for a potential romance, but begging her love interest not to embarrass her. However, in August, The Sun on Sunday confirmed Barry had been dumped by Sabrina for the first time after she grew tired of his party lifestyle. A source said at the time: 'Barry acts like an idiot when he is drunk and Sabrina was getting increasingly frustrated. 'He has always been a party animal and Sabrina was fed up with his antics. She is soaring in the charts and is putting herself first as she gears up for her tour next month.' Romantic dinners, racy shoutouts and sexy video cameos - a timeline of Sabrina Carpenter & Barry Keoghan's relationship While they later reconnected, they officially ended for good in December. It was believed that a combined pressure of her skyrocketing fame and tour schedule, plus his workload and party lifestyle, ultimately made the relationship unviable. The actress-turned-singer revealed her latest sing on Tuesday, taking to Instagram to make her announcement. She said her newest music will be released on Thursday evening and will be titled Manchild. The 26-year-old star had shared a tease video for the tune earlier in the week prior to Tuesday's confirmation. ‌ Her latest reveal seemed to be a dig at the actor. She wrote: "This one's about you!! In the video, Sabrina is seen wearing a white top, a pair of cheeky denim shorts and course, platform high heels. She is spotted hitchhiking in the clip, but is ignored by two cars passing by. The 17-second clip is silent, with no music heard over the scene. It ends with Sabrina saying "Oh, boy." The upload quickly get fans talking, and many seemed in agreement that the message was aimed at the Irishman. One user wrote: "And we know who you are talking about diva." Another agreed, saying: "Oh barry u are so over." A third added : "DRAG HIM BABE WE CANT WAIT." ‌ Following her reveal, a number of billboards have been spotted across different cities in the US. Some of the signs say: 'I swear they choose me, I'm not choosing them', 'Amen', Hey men!' and 'Manchild'. The singer is currently in the middle of her tour, 'Short n' Sweet'. Sabrina and Barry were first romantically linked back in 2023. The duo didn't go official until the following year, making their first public appearance at the after party at the Grammy Awards. ‌ With things seemingly going well, the Saltburn star even featured in Sabrina's Please, Please, Please song. It's thought the tune was about him too. Their linkup wasn't to last, with their relationship breaking down in December 2024. Reports claimed the duo had decided to call it quits in a bid to focus on their careers. The duo almost had an awkward reunion as they both attended this year's Met Gala in New York. The Espresso hitmaker and the dad-of-one posed together at the event in May last year after being first linked months prior. Three months later it was reported Sabrina and Barry had split up, with the Saltburn actor deactivating his social media accounts and issuing a damning statement as fans speculated he had cheated on his ex.
