I was set on a 3-course meal for our wedding but my KFC loving hubby won & we had a fast food buffet of fried chicken
However, one couple ditched the formal flair for a 'Finger Lickin' Good' spread that was a whole lot cheaper - and apparently went down well with guests.

Australian bride Monique Harris uploaded a video sharing how they had served KFC as the main course at their wedding reception.
Guests dined on chicken, fries, and even KFC's signature gravy, instead of the usual multi-course meal.
In a video on her @moniquexxharris account, which has racked up over 1.3million views, Monique shared: 'Told my husband we were having a 3 course sit down meal for the wedding.
'He said 'nah I want KFC catering.'
'Anyway here's him with his KFC buffet because it's his wedding too.'
Fair from being annoyed that she didn't get her way with the food, the bride said they had saved so much money in the process with the total coming to $800AU (£390).
Monique added: 'Was way cheaper than getting it catered and everyone loved it.
'$8AU (£3.89) per person compared to the $120 (£58) we kept getting quoted.'
Many people clearly loved the informal and tasty idea, with the video racking up over 130,000 likes.
One said: 'I'm showing this to my man he would LOVE THIS.'
Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause says 'I do' to G-Flip for a fourth time in Medieval castle ceremony
Another added: 'I'd be thrilled if I was at this wedding!!'
Even KFC commented, saying: 'For better, or for buffet.'
However, some people weren't sure about the idea of dishing out fast food as a main meal at a wedding.
One wrote: 'cold dried up chicken and rock hard fries. should have went with the three course.'
MACCIES MEAL
We previously shared how a couple decided to arrange for 300 McDonald's cheeseburgers and 150 hamburgers to be delivered for their 450 guests as a late-night treat.
And the couple clearly share the same down-to-earth food tastes, as they even chowed down on some burgers on their way to their ceremony earlier the same day.
The cheeseburger acts as a romantic reminder for the pair, who shared their first meal together at McDonald's six years ago after they met clubbing with a mutual friend.
The couple had spent time planning for the delivery of the burgers, which they knew their guests would love, ordering the £700 burgers one month in advance.

Charli and George exchanged vows in front of 20 close friends and family members, including the groom's bandmates Adam Hann and Ross MacDonald. Taking to TikTok, Charli showed off her leggy Vivienne Westwood wedding dress, which she teamed with shades and strutted into view before turning on her heels and exiting. The 360 hitmaker also shared a glimpse of the couple's wild afterparty which saw her changing into a second white dress, this time from Nova Cora and costing a cool £3,300, as she celebrated her newlywed status with pals. Larking around George modelled his new wife's veil while puffing on a cigarette and showcasing his buff physique beneath an open silk shirt. The gang partied and danced the night away to Charli's music, captioning the clip: 'Bridal party energy!'. On her big day the singer was the epitome of style in the white mini dress which boasted a plunging boat neckline and draped detailing that she wore with a veil. Ant McPartlin celebrates fourth wedding anniversary with wife Anne-Marie Corbett as he shares sweet throwback selfie from their nuptials
Ant McPartlin celebrated his fourth wedding anniversary with wife Anne-Marie Corbett as he shared a sweet selfie to X from their wedding day on Thursday. The TV presenter, 49, and his wife, 46, were all smiles in the throwback snap as they celebrated their special day at Heckfield Place in Hampshire. Ant cut a dapper figure in a tuxedo as he snapped the sweet selfie while Anne-Marie beamed from behind wearing her gorgeous £15,000 bespoke floor-length dress by designer Suzanne Neville. Taking to his X account, which he shares with co-star Declan Donnelly, Ant wrote: 'Happy 4th Anniversary darling. I wish we could go back and do it all again! Love ya. A X' Ant was previously married to Lisa Armstrong, who he divorced in 2020. The couple were together for more than two decades and married for 11 years. He went on to marry Anne-Marie in August 2021, in a lavish wedding that reportedly cost a whopping £500,00, with Dec as best man. Taking to his X account, which he shares with co-star Declan Donnelly, Ant wrote: 'Happy 4th Anniversary darling. I wish we could go back and do it all again! Love ya. A X' Ant worked with Anne-Marie for several years before they started dating. It comes after Ant had another tattoo tribute to his wife Anne-Marie and showed it off during their holiday to Portugal on Tuesday. Enjoying a day at the beach, the couple had some down time with friends. Ant, who already has a number of tattoos, showed off his new ink while taking a dip in the sea. His latest addition is Anne-Marie's nickname, Amzie, written across his chest, in another sweet nod to her. The I'm A Celebrity host also has a heart with a circle and the letter 'A' inside and a family tree tattoo. A source told The Sun: 'He looked in great shape and was totally relaxed. But he's starting to get quite a collection of tattoos.' They added: 'Each one has a special meaning to him and pay tribute to what he treasures most in the world.' Last May, Ant showed off a never-before-seen family tree tattoo as he revealed that he had welcomed his first child with his wife Anne-Marie. Their baby boy, a son named Wilder Patrick McPartlin, is Ant's first while Anne-Marie has two children, Poppy, and Daisy, from her previous marriage. Ant shared a Instagram snap sweetly cradling his baby boy, revealing he'd been born earlier that day, writing: 'Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am. Baby is beautiful, Mummy's a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad's a mess!' In the image, Ant displayed the intricate family tree tattoo tribute on his shoulder with sweet dedications to his stepchildren from Anne-Marie's previous marriage, and their pet dogs, Milo and Bumble. Ant later addressed fans' concerns that he'd 'snubbed' his dog Hurley - who he shares with his ex - in the tattoo, after the dog's name appeared to be absent from the design. The TV personality and his ex Lisa adopted Hurley in 2013 following struggles to have a child of their own. Ant wrote: 'Hey all, I just wanted to say thank You so much for the kind messages of love and well wishes for our baby Wilder. He's doing great.' He added: 'Glad you loved the tattoo as well. For all you dog lovers who asked why my beloved Hurley wasn't on the family was!! He was just covered by our newborn. All my love, gratitude and heartfelt thanks A.' The Saturday Night Takeaway star split from Lisa in 2018 after 11 years of marriage and went on to marry his former personal assistant, Anne-Marie, in 2021. Ant is said to have refused to surrender full custody of Hurley to his ex during their reported £31million divorce battle, reportedly telling lawyers: 'She can have anything she wants – except the dog.' The arrangement led to the TV presenter's chauffeur ferrying the dog between the two of them so they did not have to see each other. Lisa has reportedly bought a new house in Oxford as she builds an impressive property portfolio in the wake of her divorce. The makeup artist, 48, who was said to have been awarded £31 million in a settlement from the TV star snapped up a four-bed house near Oxford last year for more than £700,000, according to The Mirror. She already has the former family home, a £2.3 million five-bedroom west London mansion, which she kept as part of the divorce. Lisa then bought a £3.8 million house in West London in 2020, two years following her split from Ant after 11 years of marriage. According to the publication, she is now expected to undertake extensive renovations of her latest purchase. MailOnline has contacted a representative of Lisa for comment. Lisa is fast becoming a savvy property developer after completely renovating her 2020 house purchase, installing a pool, a gym, an outhouse and a gazebo. However, she has had less luck with the former marital home after it suffered a fire in 2023, causing £1 million worth of damage.
