This Milton restaurant served their fan-favorite dish to Kid Rock, Randy Travis and more
Owner Nan Foster was selected to plan and cater the wedding at Graystone Quarry in Franklin, Tennessee, for longtime friend and 'In Color' singer Johnson and his bride, Brittney Eakins.
Foster and her husband, hometown cook Steve House-Gregory, even recreated a hit from their restaurant's menu called Seafood Sensation for a crowd of 350 packed with the big names of country music. Some of the guests included Kid Rock ('All Summer Long'), Randy Travis ('Forever and Ever, Amen'), Zac Brown ('Chicken Fried'), Lee Brice ('Hard to Love'), Gary Allan ('Watching Airplanes"), Ella Langley ('You look Like You Love Me,'), Riley Green ('There Was This Girl') and many more.

There was one guest on the list who left a particularly big impression.
'Randy Travis is the greatest human,' Foster said. 'I mean, he is an incredible human who is gracious in spirit and just is always a pleasure to speak with.'
Since the wedding was centered around Southern elegance, The Cutting Board's cuisine fit perfectly in the picture. They brought in highlight dishes from the Panhandle, delighting guests with regional favorites such as mini muffulettas, cups of Louisiana gumbo, and, of course, fresh, local seafood. Seafood Sensation, known at The Cutting Board as Andy's Sensation, was one of the first dishes she ever fed Johnson when they met many years ago.
'We knew going in that we would include that because that's one of his (Johnson's) favorite dishes,' Foster said. 'These guys want good, enjoyable food. It doesn't have to be fancy, it doesn't have to be over the top, it just has to be good.'
For dessert, Foster had Johnson's beloved guitar replicated into cake form, with Mississippi-based vendor Cakes By Iris capturing every detail, even the guitar's scribbled signatures.
Foster also looked locally for vendors to assist, with The Thirsty Ranch mobile beverage cart serving up his and her style cocktails of hand grenades and blueberry moonshine margaritas, and professional photos shot by Pensacola area photographer, Addie J Photography, that were featured in People Magazine.
'It's just a fantastic opportunity for local vendors to have the opportunity to go to something of this caliber. It gives us a great opportunity to showcase our town, our community, and the kind of people that we have,' Foster said.
Foster said one of the highlights of the experience was sharing a piece of the Panhandle with the celebrity guests, some of whom even messaged her after the wedding, trying to get hold of her recipes.
'Absolutely not,' Foster teased about sharing them.
She said the event was special not only for her business but also to draw attention to the Panhandle and show what it has to offer despite its small size.
'You never know when you meet someone if you're going to have an opportunity to bring a slice of your world into someone else's world,' Foster said. 'And for us, that's been the most unique experience is being afforded the opportunity to showcase our small-town Panhandle community into such a large world dynamic.'
If you want to try the Seafood Sensation for yourself, you can order it from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday at The Cutting Board, 8855 State Road 87 S. in Milton. Foster can be reached at 850-516-0975 for questions or catering inquiries.

Below is Knox News' format for "The T," a free weekly newsletter all about the University of Tennessee at Knoxville launching Aug. 19. UT is home wherever you go. Keep up with campus and the Vols you love by signing up at Welcome to The T! Or rather, an example of what my Knox News newsletter all about the University of Tennessee at Knoxville will look like when it hits inboxes on Tuesdays. My name is Keenan Thomas, higher education reporter for Knox News, and I've spent the past three years understanding the ins and outs of the state's flagship campus to share stories about the many ways UT is constantly evolving. This opening section, which you'll be greeted by every Tuesday, could cover anything I'm seeing on and around campus, from my recent reporting on new dorms and dining options to tips for tackling football season and getting the most out of campus as a student, parent or alumnus. After a few opening paragraphs, I'll spotlight some interesting folks and exciting events on campus. Student media highlight: This section will focus on the important work created by students for Ablaze, The Daily Beacon, Land Grant Films and other publications. The Daily Beacon's Caden Dyer, editor-in-chief of the student newspaper, recently wrote about the transition back to civilian life by UT student and military veteran Kevin Ho. 'I had never really anticipated myself being successful in a school environment again, primarily based off of the experience I had in high school,' Ho told The Daily Beacon. 'But those skills I got in the military transferred over to higher ed.' Important dates and upcoming events: Whether it's Torch Night on Aug. 17, the first day of classes on Aug. 18, the first football game at Neyland Stadium on Sept. 6 or an important application deadline for parents or students, this is the section where I'll share what's coming up soon for UT. Alumni or faculty spotlight: This section will put the spotlight on a UT alum or a faculty member running their corner of UT. Golfer Tommy Fleetwood and His Wife Clare Have a 23-Year Age Gap: Inside Their Relationship
The relationship between Tommy Fleetwood and his wife, Clare Fleetwood, sparked interest after the pro golfer suffered another heartbreak at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. Tommy, 34, had a two-shot lead as he teed off at the 16th hole at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee, on Sunday, August 10. However, after a bogey on the 17th hole and a par on the 18th, Tommy missed the playoff by one stroke, dashing his hopes of securing his first PGA Tour victory. Justin Rose eventually defeated J.J. Spaun on the third playoff hole to secure the tournament win. 2025 U.S. Open Champ J.J. Spaun Explains On-Camera Moment With Wife, Notes She's the 'Backbone of Our Whole Family' Tommy, who turned pro in 2010, has had many close calls over the years, but his failure to ultimately taste PGA Tour glory has been an agonizing journey for his fans. Off the course, Tommy's relationship with his wife, Clare, 57, has also been a hot topic of conversation. Tommy and Clare, who is 23 years her husband's senior, got married in 2017 and have since welcomed a son, Franklin. For a deep dive into their relationship — including what they've said about that age gap — keep reading. How Did Tommy Fleetwood and His Wife Meet? Tommy and Clare's paths first crossed as they traversed the friendly skies. 'We were always on similar flights to or from Manchester airport, sat next to each other for hours, so we became friends,' Tommy told The Times in January 2023. Clare, a respected sports agent, managed to convince Tommy to join her agency as a client. 'We spent more and more time together and it just so happens we fell in love,' Tommy recalled. Tommy said it only took a matter of 'months' for their relationship to turn into something more than professional. 'We already had such a strong connection and the extra time spent together just tipped us over the edge,' he explained. Once the couple made things official, Tommy and Clare worried that they would have to separate their personal and professional lives. 'We planned to keep our life and our work separate, for me to find another agent,' Tommy said. 'But it became more apparent I wasn't going to find anybody I'd trust as much because, after all, Clare is a very, very, very good agent by trade; it wasn't like she was my wife just helping the family out. So in the end we thought, 'We'll just give it a go, but we will never let anything get in the way of our relationship,' and it's just always worked perfectly.' Clare works as Tommy's agent to this day. When Did Tommy Fleetwood and His Wife Get Married? Tommy and Clare got married in the Bahamas in December 2017, three months after their son, Franklin, was born. In addition to their biological son, Tommy is the stepfather to Clare's two sons from a previous marriage, Oscar and Murray. In September 2023, Tommy celebrated Clare's 56th birthday with a post on social media. 'Happy birthday to the most amazing wife, mama, best friend, agent, the lot!!' he wrote via Instagram. 'You are our absolute rock and we love you more than you could ever imagine!!' What Have Tommy Fleetwood and His Wife Said About Their Age Gap? Tommy and Clare have never shied away from discussing their 23-year age gap. 'Oh, we definitely get comments,' Tommy told The Times in January 2023 of their romance. 'But it's never been a thing to us. Clare actually looks very young for her age and I look old — it's probably all that sun. She's incredibly cool and I'm not cool at all, though I am quite mature for my age.' Still, Clare was initially hesitant to explore a relationship with Tommy given their discrepancy in age. "We've got a 23-year age difference," Clare said on the 'Performance People' podcast in May 2023. "Of course, I turned him down. I was like, 'Don't be stupid." However, Tommy was persistent and convinced Clare to give him a chance. 'She just eventually gave in, I think, and thought, 'I'll just give him some time. I'll give him the time of day and then we'll go from there,'' Tommy said on the same episode of the podcast. 'And then I didn't mess up." How Do Tommy Fleetwood and His Wife Keep Their Relationship Fresh? Tommy explained that he and Clare are committed to 'date nights' where they discuss anything other than work. 'We've got plenty of other things to talk about — the kids, they take up 95 percent of your life,' Tommy told The Times in January 2023. 'We have so many things in common.' Perhaps most importantly, Tommy and Clare's relationship is filled with laughter thanks in large part to their English childhoods. 'We share a very northern sense of humor,' Tommy said. 'We're both from working-class backgrounds. When you look at our parents, they brought us up in a similar fashion, whether it be in terms of kindness or toughness or wanting to be the best you can be.'

How Tom Hanks and Morgan Freeman honored FedEx founder Fred Smith during Memphis event
Thousands gathered inside FedExForum in Memphis on Aug. 11 to honor and celebrate the life of FedEx founder Fred Smith. Two Hollywood stars also paid tribute to Smith via recorded segments: Tom Hanks and Morgan Freeman. Each of the Academy Award-winning actors narrated a pair of video segments that paid homage to Smith's impact on Memphis, FedEx and global economics. Additionally, other national figures on hand at FedExForum included former Secretary of State John Kerry, who served as a U.S. Senator for Massachusetts from 1985 to 2013 and was the Democratic presidential nominee during the 2004 presidential election. Kerry and Smith were classmates at Yale University. The pair was also part of the illustrious Skull & Bones "secret society" at the university. (Smith was also friends with fellow Yale alumnus and former president George W. Bush, who defeated Kerry in the 2004 election.) FRED SMITH CELEBRATION OF LIFE: FedEx founder Fred Smith honored in Memphis: 'He changed the world' What do Tom Hanks and Morgan Freeman have to do with FedEx? Tom Hanks will forever have a connection to FedEx — and indirectly, to Memphis — due to the 2000 film "Cast Away." The partly made-in-Memphis movie, which earned Hanks a Best Actor Oscar nomination, follows a fictional FedEx employee named Chuck Noland who ends up stranded on a desert island following a plane crash. Smith made a cameo in the movie. Freeman may not have a direct FedEx connection like Hanks; however, the cinema veteran was born in the Bluff City on June 1, 1937. He has been nominated for an Academy Award five times, with his lone win coming in 2005 for a supporting role in "Million Dollar Baby." REMEMBERING FRED SMITH: Fascinating facts about FedEx founder Fred Smith: From A (Alcon) to Z (Zebra) The presence of Hollywood stars for Smith's Aug. 11 celebration of life is not surprising given Smith's history in film financing. In 1997, Smith became a chief financial player with the movie studio, Alcon Entertainment. Alcon Entertainment has helped produce "The Garfield Movie" and "Blade Runner 2049." Additionally, the studio has launched several TV shows, including the "Blade Runner: Black Lotus" anime and is producing a live-action Blade Runner series for Amazon Prime called "Blade Runner 2099." Additionally, two of Smith's daughters, Rachel and Molly Smith, are also in the entertainment business. The siblings both work at Black Label Media studios. In 2013, Molly Smith helped co-found the studio, which produced the Academy Award-winning "La La Land" and "Sicario." Neil Strebig is a journalist with The Commercial Appeal.
