‘Mysaa': First look from Rashmika Mandanna's upcoming film out
A new poster of Rashmika Mandanna's upcoming movie has been unveiled. In Mysaa, the actor is set to step into a never-before-seen warrior avatar.
In a fierce first-look, Rashmika appears in a a blood-smeared face in the poster. With wild hair, and a sword clutched in hand, she features in an intense mode in the poster.
Mysaa is reported to be Rashmika's first film as a solo lead in the pan-India genre. The movie is produced by Unformula Films and directed by Rawindra Pulle.
'I always try to give something new...something different...something exciting. And this one...This is one of those,' Rashmika wrote on social media. The actor said it's a character she has never played before. 'It's fierce, intense and extremely raw,' she added.

Mysaa is written and directed by Rawindra Pulle. Ajay and Anil Bayyapureddy have produced the movie. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.

Meanwhile, Rashmika was last seen in the social thriller Kuberaa. Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the movie stars Dhanush and Nagarjuna in prominent roles.

Mr Bachchan, starring Ravi Teja in the lead, takes a more commercial treatment to the story, straying away from the original movie's subtle tone. With more focus on action, the protagonist Anand (aka Mr Bachchan) is a tough Income Tax Officer who is daring enough to take on anyone. Owing to his nature, he gets suspended, which is when he goes back to his hometown and falls in love with Jikki. The first half of the Telugu-language movie narrates how Mr Bachchan tries to woo the girl, who eventually becomes his lover. Coming to the second half, the actual raid starts at the home of Mutyam Jaggayya. As the Harish Shankar directorial crafts the protagonist to be more gleeful and humorous, it strays away from Amay Patnaik and his calm and calculated demeanor. As most actions conducted by Rameshwar Singh and Mutyam Jaggayya are similar, Mr Bachchan ends with a stereotypical fight of one man saving the day.

Sources in the industry claim that Killer, the story of which S J Suryah penned during the lockdown, will revolve around a hitman.
