McDonald's fans shocked to see customer go behind counter to make his own McFlurry: ‘He has no right'

McDonald's ice cream machine is notorious for being broken — so much so that there's even a website dedicated to it.
But one customer decided to take matters into his own hands when his McFlurry wasn't mixed properly.
LADBible recently posted a clip with 1.4 million likes that showed a customer asking a McDonald's employee if the mixer wasn't working after receiving his McFlurry.

Rather than letting it be and moving on with his unmixed McFlurry, the patron walked around the counter, into the kitchen and straight to the mixer.
When he mixed his own McFlurry, the machine seemed to work and mixed up the Oreos with the ice cream as the customer wished.
The whole debacle sparked debate, with some defending the customer's overstep and accusing the McDonald's employee of lying.
'Probably close to closing, and it was already deep cleaned, so they didn't want to clean it again and lied about it,' one claimed.
'Y'all act like the mixer touches the ice cream… it literally mixes with the spoon. That lady just straight lied,' another wrote.
'Why is McDonalds always lying about the Ice Cream machines'? one questioned.
However, many others argued that there was likely a valid reason the employee said the machine wasn't working.
'Sometimes, this is worker code for 'I can't in good conscience use it on your food,'' one person said.

'I worked at McDonald's for years. If an employee tells you something isn't working, please trust them,' an apparent former Golden Arches employee emphasized. 'We told people that every day for their own safety! Those machines go MONTHS without being cleaned!'
'Regardless of whether the machine was working or not, he has no right to go behind the counter and do it himself,' another pointed out.

I got fed up wasting time using a weed whacker to remove weeds, so I tried an electric pressure washer instead — here's what happened

I've been a first-time homeowner for two and a half years now and one thing I've learned in that time is that weeds are annoying. Like really, they're relentless and take up a lot of my time during the weekends — especially with the pavers on my driveway that can easily be inundated by them. For the past two summers, I've been using my Greenworks weed whacker to whittle away at those stubborn weeds around my pavers. All of my effort has been futile. I finally got fed up using my weed whacker and decided to try an electric pressure washer. Here's what happened. You'll find several handy uses with the Stihl REA 100 Plus electric pressure washer, which features a maximum pressure of 2,200 psi. It comes with a hose attachment, 19.5-foot hose length, and a battery pack to let you pressure wash just about anywhere thanks to its all-electric check: $649 @ Ace Hardware Having watched so many gardening hacks and videos on TikTok and Instagram, I know how well some of them could be at my weed problem at home — like the time I tried the viral Grampa's Weeder. For my pavers though, I tried out the Stihl REA 100 Plus electric pressure washer to see how effective it is over using my weed whacker. After making sure the battery pack was charged, I connected the 3-in-1 nozzle and built-in detergent hose to the reel, which neatly is rolled up inside of the unit and offers 19.5 feet of length. On the other end, I connected my water supply hose line for continuous use. It took me a few tries and switching through all the nozzle spray options to figure out what was most effective at removing stuck-on weeds in between my pavers, but once I figured it out, I was impressed at how effortlessly it blasted them away. Some of the deeper-rooted weeds that often came back when I used my weed whacker were no match this time against the Stihl REA 100 Plus. That's because this all-electric pressure washer delivers a maximum pressure of 2,200 psi, which allows the water stream to penetrate deeper into the areas in between the pavers. Normally it would take me about 30 minutes to carefully go through the same small patch of pavers with my weed whacker, but the Stihl REA 100 Plus' intensive stream does it half the time. However, there were still some weeds that survived the first pass — but they appeared to be dying the following day. Trying to get the same results would've taken me much longer with my weed whacker, as well as going through more string trimmer lines. Overall, I'm surprised by how much quicker it is to use a pressure washer for removing weeds in between pavers. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. In the subsequent weeks, I found other uses with the Stihl REA 100 Plus. I've actually used to clean off the sides of my Traeger wood pellet grill and also the siding around my home. There's also another set of pavers closer to my garage that are covered in moss, but the Stihl REA 100 Plus made it way easier to blast them off. I've tried countless times with my weed whacker, but found it ineffective and time-intensive. And finally, I really like how it's compact and portable to carry around all around my property for all sorts of jobs. Due to its battery power, it's also extremely quiet to operate. For those that need to use it elsewhere without access to a water hose line, I really love how I can connect it to a water tank or bucket to supply it with water — making it much more travel friendly that a traditional gas-powered pressure washer.

This TikTok-famous spin scrubber is my favorite cleaning hack — watching the grime dissolve away is so satisfying

When I first moved into my rental house, it became abundantly clear that my landlord and I have different definitions of "professionally clean." After driving the 10 hour trek to Indiana from Kansas with all of my things in tow, I was dismayed when I was greeted by filthy grout, crayon on the walls, and caked on soap scum in the bathrooms. In that moment, I could see my future, and it contained a lot of time on my hands and knees scrubbing up other people's messes. So, after seeing electric spin scrubbers all over TikTok and reading our best electric spin scrubber guide, I was intrigued. These tools seemed like magic, making dirt and grime disappear with the touch of a button— no arduous scrubbing required. I finally decided to spend the $50 on the Casabella Power Spin Scrubber, and months later, I am so glad that I did. It's saved me time cleaning every room in my house, and it's able to reach a level of clean I could never achieve with a bucket and a mop. The power spin scrubber is lightweight, versatile, and powerful Weighing just 3.57 pounds, the Casabella Power Spin Scubber is light and portable. It's cordless, too, so you won't have to worry about having enough cord length as you clean. With just one ultra-powerful speed, it turns on and off when you press a button. There's no need to cycle through speeds or modes. The battery lasts 100 minutes. I've never had problems with it dying during my usual cleaning routine, which includes the bathrooms, kitchen, and floors. The spin scrubber comes with four brush heads: a small flat brush for detail work, a large flat brush for large areas, an angled brush for hard-to-reach places, and a dome brush for curved spaces like sinks and tubs. Each brush head attaches easily to the scrubber body, although it does take some force to detach it. I love how the scrubber is fully adjustable. The cleaning head pivots at 45 and 90 degrees to give me the right leverage at the right angle, while the handle extends from 27 inches up to 47.5 inches. This adjustability means that you won't have to bend over or even get on your knees to clean. When you turn it on, you'll notice that the speed is very fast. While this is great for scrubbing power, it also means that the spin scrubber can be difficult to control. If you don't apply enough pressure, it will fly off whatever you're cleaning. It's certainly a step up from manually scrubbing and cleaning, but it still takes a bit of effort to keep it under control. It has transformed how I clean my bathroom, cutting cleaning time in half. I bought my Casabella Power Spin Scrubber mostly to use in my bathrooms, and I've been blown away by its performance. One of my most hated chores is cleaning the shower and bathtub; it's so hard to scrub away soap scum and hard water stains. My shower is tiled, so hard water tends to build up in the grout, making it ridiculously difficult to get clean. The house I'm renting is, to put it kindly, well-loved. With its chipping paint, my bathtub is particularly rundown, so it's hard for me to feel like it's really clean. As a renter who cares about cleanliness, it's really difficult when I don't feel clean in my own home. I don't like knowing that there's dust and grime from other people in my space, so cleaning is usually a laborious process. I deeply care about a thorough clean, especially in my bathroom. When I used my spin scrubber in my shower, I was amazed. The soap scum was removed like it was nothing, and the orangish-red stains from my hard water disappeared quickly. The different brush heads came in handy here, too. I used the large flat brush on the walls for an all-over clean. The dome brush cleaned the curved sides of my bathtub, and the angled brush got the hard-to-reach places under my faucet. Once I was done cleaning my shower, the rinsed water was filthy— a good sign that, for once, my shower was actually clean. The spin scrubber also works great on sinks and around the toilet. I always make sure to clean the brush heads in a disinfecting concoction before moving between surfaces, though, so I'm not spreading germs all around my house. On cleaning days, my partner and I argue about who gets to use the spin scrubber first. I also find the scrubber useful for cleaning the kitchen, floors, and windows The Casabella Power Spin Scrubber isn't just for bathrooms, though. I've used it in my kitchen, on my sunroom windows, and to clean my grout. Whenever I need a heavy-duty clean, I reach for this tool. It actually makes cleaning exciting because I love seeing the before-and-after effects. It's so satisfying to watch caked-up grime fade away. When I use the spin scrubber, I make a cleaning solution with hot water, cleaning liquid, and baking soda. I just spray my solution on the dirty surface and start scrubbing. I recommend bringing a mop with clean water with you when you use this scrubber. It does an excellent job of scrubbing away any mess, but you'll want something to rinse the remaining residue away. Also, keep in mind that you shouldn't fully submerge the scrubber beyond the brush heads in water due to the electrical components. I like to clean the brush heads after each use to extend their lifespan. This spin scrubber is very easy to care for, maintenance-wise. Just plug it in after you clean, and it'll be charged for your next endeavor. The brush heads can hold dirt and hair (which is an issue if you're a chronic shedder like me), so I like to thoroughly soak and wash them after each clean. It keeps them looking fresh while also staying hygienic to use throughout my house. Cons to consider The Casabella Power Spin Scrubber is an excellent tool, but it's not perfect. The brush heads, for instance, are not the most durable. After my first clean, I saw a noticeable difference in the state of the bristles. While the stick and head itself held up well during cleaning, the bristles looked worn down. A previous tester even destroyed a brush head after applying too much pressure. Casabella sells replacement brush heads in case yours become too worn to clean effectively. The scrubber itself is also difficult to control, requiring a consistent amount of pressure during cleaning. It's a step up from scrubbing, but your arms might be a little sore after taking this tool to the dirty areas in your home. The Casabella Power Spin Scrubber also lacks a storage bag for the brush heads, which is a bummer. However, it does come with a hanging hook, so you can mount it for storage while it charges. What are your alternatives? If you're on the hunt for a spin scrubber but want to look beyond Casabella, the top pick in our best electric spin scrubber guide is the Leebein Spin Scrubber. It comes with eight brush heads, so it's even more versatile than the Casabella scrubber and two cleaning speeds. It also extends to 54 inches. For a detail-focused spin scrubber, we love the Iezfix Scrubber. It has a boost mode that makes detail work easy. Plus, there's a rubber grip so your hand won't get tired. The bottom line As a renter, the Casabella Power Spin Scrubber is one of my favorite cleaning tools. It makes my space feel actually clean. Ever since I swapped the mop and cleaning rags for this power scrubber, I've said goodbye to intense scrubbing with mediocre results. I let the Casabella take on the hard work. Now, my cleaning routine is much faster and more thorough. The brush heads do have some durability issues, but I still think it's worth it.
