Impractical Jokers' Sal Vulcano on touring, 50 Cent and Shreveport's own Rubba Boot
More KTAL NEWS NOW
The 'Impractical Jokers' star will take the stage at The Strand Theatre on May 15, 2025, at 7 p.m., marking his first-ever comedy stop in Shreveport. But before he hits the mic, Vulcano sat down with KTAL News Now's Erykah Agers to talk touring, being a new father, Rubba Boot, and even 50 Cent.
His Everything's Fine Tour 2025 will hit the historic Strand Theatre this Thursday, and it's a whole new hour of material.
'I've never been through there, so I really want to see what you guys bring to the table,' Vulcano said.
50 Cent takes number one spot with streaming channel success
The show marks Vulcano's first time performing live in Shreveport, though fans have been watching him for over a decade on Impractical Jokers, which recently kicked off Season 12.
'This is all new stuff,' Vulcano said. 'I'm talking about my family for the first time, being married, having a daughter, stuff I never put on stage before.'
In addition to TV, he's kept busy with his comedy special Terrified, now streaming on Max, and multiple podcast projects. He's also producing a new hidden-camera prank series called Foul Play, in collaboration with NBA star Anthony Davis.
Between writing jokes in his laundry room and parenting a toddler, Vulcano says he's thrilled to finally visit Louisiana, and he already has Shreveport's own 50 Cent on his mind.
'I'm going to try to roam the streets and bump into 50 Cent for sure,' he joked.
Known for his podcast hits Hey Babe and Taste Buds, Vulcano says he plans to return to both projects after the tour wraps, but for now, it's all about the stage, and Shreveport's first taste of his solo comedy. You can purchase tickets to see the show online at www.salvulcanocomedy.com

50 Cent Denies Assisting JAY-Z's Alleged Son With Paternity Case: 'Keep My Name Out Of This Sh*t'
One thing about 50 Cent, he proudly takes ownership for whatever vindictive moves he makes as Hip-Hop's biggest villain. Thus, it came as no surprise that the 50-year-old rapper recently denied assisting Rymir Satterthwaite, Jay-Z's alleged son, with his decades-long paternity case. A YouTube account that brands itself as revealing, 'the truth behind celebrity drama, family secrets, and industry moves you were never meant to see' claimed that the G-Unit leader, 'personally reached out to Rymir and offered up his powerful legal team.' Fif caught wind of the accusation and addressed it via Instagram. 'Yo I never met this kid and I'm not helping him with anything,' he wrote in a now-deleted post. 'Keep my name out of this [sh*t] please.' The 'In Da Club' rapper never shies away from commenting on people's business, and has proudly been a thorn in Hov's side for years, so this type of act could be easy to pin on him. However, the Power executive producer is not willing to let that narrative fly. Satterthwaite, currently 31 years old, has been pursuing the Brooklyn rapper for decades, claiming that he was involved with his mother in the 90s, which led to his conception. Weeks ago, US Weekly obtained court documents revealing that Hov's legal team called Satterhwaite's lawsuit the latest effort in a 'decades-long harassment.' Satterthwaite has held firm and even accused the '99 Problems' rapper of attempting to suppress him from telling his truth. He claims Jay has taken advantage of the legal system to evade being held accountable. The Roc Nation leader has denied paternity in a variety of ways, namely via song. 'Billie Jean in his prime/ For the thousandth time, the kid ain't mine/ Online they call me Dad, kiddingly/ You're not supposed to take this Dad thing literally,' he rapped on 'Heard About Us' from his 2018 collaborative album with Beyoncé, Everything Is Love. 50 Cent Set to Receive $200K Payment from Young Buck, Ending Years-Long Loan Dispute
After years of legal back-and-forth, 50 Cent is finally poised to collect a long-disputed payment from former G-Unit signee Young Buck, bringing closure to one of Hip-Hop's most drawn-out financial feuds. A court has ordered Buck to pay $200,006.90 to 50 Cent — roughly 80% of the $250,000 Fif claims he lent to the Tennessee rapper as a personal loan. The payment comes as part of a final distribution plan in Young Buck's bankruptcy case, where his estate has raised approximately $1.05 million through the liquidation of his assets, including his music catalog, vehicles, jewelry, and studio equipment. Nearly $445,000 of that sum has already been allocated to legal and administrative costs, leaving just over $600,000 to be divided among remaining creditors. Fif is expected to receive his lump sum once the court formally approves the distribution plan in the coming weeks. The exact nature of the $250,000 in question has been a point of contention for years. Young Buck has at times insisted that the funds were advance payments for future music releases under G-Unit, not a personal loan. At other times, he's cast doubt on whether 50 Cent can prove the money was ever given at all. This development marks a likely end to a bitter and very public dispute between the former collaborators. 50 Cent and Young Buck's relationship began to deteriorate in the late 2000s, leading to repeated social media jabs, diss tracks, and lawsuits. Despite an occasional suggestion of reconciliation, tensions have remained high. In recent years, Young Buck has continued to release music independently. Projects like his recent EPs Renovation and Target Practice received moderate attention, and Buck has remained active in the Southern rap circuit. However, his financial troubles and legal battles have often overshadowed his music. Now, with the court nearing final approval of the payment, it seems one of hip-hop's longest-running money feuds may finally be over. 50 Cent And Benzino Reheat Beef In Social Media Back-And-Forth
50 Cent and Benzino have traded insults across social media, reigniting their longstanding feud. The new Instagram beef started when 50 Cent uploaded a new freestyle from Benzino. Sharing the gritty clip, the Queens native exclaimed, 'Yo this is the worst sh*t I heard this year.' He continued to write, 'F wrong with him he 60 years old bro. Nah this ain't it.' While 50 Cent is a known troll, he may have a slight point. While Benzino had the flow down, some catchy one-liners, and a confident demeanor, critiques can be made about the subject matter in the Boston rapper's brazen bars. In the song 'YNZ,' a braided Benzino raps about having 'YNs,' that 'be on some kill sh*t' and being 'married to the streets,' while he flexes his muscles in a black tank top. The original clip was filmed in Columbus, OH, as part of the Uncle Joe Podcast Mic Drop series. Catching wind of the 'Many Men' rapper's post, Benzino shared a response from the gym. 'I just put a little video out…just minding my business…I see your man Curtis posted it,' he elaborated. 'This ni**a really f**k with Zino huh?' He continued, 'I tell you what, though, the boxing challenge still there. Im down to make a couple of m's. I'll go three rounds with your goofy a**,' and also challenged 50 Cent to hop in the booth, adding, ' Why dont you see if you could put out a song better than 'YNZ.'' In an additional upload, Benzino continued to confront 50 Cent. 'He don't even post Tony Yayo's music,' he shared. 'Good looking, Curt. You got a big platform. I appreciate that. I know the song is dope.' 'You raised a whole bunch of trolls in New York, I get it.' Benzino reflected. 'You taught a lot of young ni**as in New York how to be trolls, and how to be divisive and negative. I get it. Only you get over with that sh*t. Nobody else will…but who am I to say anything? What do I know? He continued,' New York was the Mecca of Hip-Hop. It seems like when Curtis came, everything just got divisive in New York…New York lost its way almost. It's like…New York was the birthplace of Hip-Hop. And it wasn't divisive,' adding, 'It seems like the drill is starting to play out, so now where does New York go from there? Everybody just wants to be on the internet and troll everybody and talk sh*t… a lot of you ni**as ain't moving right.' The back and forth comes after 50 Cent shared a video of Benzino last year that depicted Benzino threatening to commit suicide after allegedly physically abusing his girlfriend, Ashley Bell. After the footage was shared, Benzino clarified that the clip was filmed as he practiced his acting skills for an upcoming project. 'I want to let everybody know that that was a rehearsal for a Tubi movie,' the 'Rock The Party' rapper claimed. 'My girl was helping me out. We was doing a script reading and that was a rehearsal for a Tubi movie. That was a scene from a movie, okay?' He continued, 'I also want to let Curtis know, good looking,' he said. 'Thanks, Curtis, for promoting me. Keep on posting me.'
