A TEENAGER has been arrested after a 16-year-old boy died following an alleged incident at a Scottish beach.
Kayden Moy, 16, tragically passed away after an alleged attack at Irvine Beach, North Ayrshire, last night.

The young lad, from East Kilbride, was enjoying a day out with friends when he was wounded in an alleged assault at around 6.45pm.
The popular teen had travelled to the busy seafront spot as thousands flocked to soak up the scorching weekend sunshine.
Medics battled to save Kayden's life alongside other members of the public as he was rushed to hospital.
However, he sadly passed away from his injuries this morning.
A major probe was launched after his death.
Police have now confirmed that a 17-year-old male has now been arrested in connection with Kayden's death.
A statement from the force read: "Following enquiries into the death of a 16-year-old male on a beach in Irvine on Saturday, 17 May, officers have arrested a 17-year-old male.
"Enquiries into the death are ongoing."
A source told the Scottish Sun: 'Kayden was a very popular boy with lots of friends. The local community in East Kilbride is in shock.

'To think he went with his friends for a day at the beach and never came home is just awful."
Kayden's devastated friends and family took to social media to as they paid tribute to the "great guy".
His heartbroken dad Paul wrote: "My firstborn son, my big boy, my best friend, my main man, my everything. Rest easy, my boy."
And a pal said: "Rest in peace Kayden, will forever miss you. You were taken far too soon, brother. Will forever try and make you proud, I love you, Kayden."
Another put: "Will forever be in all of our hearts, we will get through this together."
A third added: "Thinking of you all, the wee man was a great guy."
A fourth said: "Rest in eternal peace young Kayden. Forever 16."
A fifth commented: "Rest easy my boy."
Police previously appealed to anyone who may have mobile phone footage of the alleged incident to get in touch.
Officers were also spotted patrolling the sand dunes on this morning as a major investigation got underway into the lad's death.

A large section of a nearby pond has been taped off as officers carry out enquiries.
Detective Chief Inspector Campbell Jackson, Major Investigations Team, said: 'An extensive investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding this death.
"Our officers are supporting the boy's family at this very difficult and heartbreaking time.
'From our investigation so far, we know there were a number of people on the beach around the time of the disturbance.
"We believe several of them were filming at the time and may have footage of what happened.
'I would urge people to review the footage they have and contact police if they think the footage captured could be of significance to our investigation.'

Police are currently appealing for witnesses after the woman reported the shocking attack in Kingsnorth Gardens in Folkestone, Kent. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up A 52-year-old male suspect was arrested and taken into custody - with officers seizing a knife and a quantity of drugs during this arrest. He was then later charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place and possession of cocaine. The suspect has been bailed in regards to the alleged sexual assault and will appear before Margate Magistrates' Court on Monday to face the other charges. Police say the victim suffered a facial injury in the alleged attack - with patrols attending the scene at the park. In a statement released on Saturday, Kent Police said: "Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a report of a serious sexual assault in Folkestone. "The incident happened in Kingsnorth Gardens at around 12.40pm on Friday 6 June 2025. "A woman stated she had been approached by a man she knew in the park. "She alleges she was then threatened with a weapon and raped. "The victim also suffered a facial injury. "Patrols attended the scene and an investigation was commenced."
