And another Lululemon-inspired piece, a charming and oh-so-comfortable tennis skirt with built-in shorts similar to the Align style. The secret inner pocket on these is perfect for stashing keys and tennis balls, and the shorts are designed with a four-way stretch so they won't ride up. A multipurpose blush stick reviewers compare to the $18 Pixi Beauty version — this version may be cheaper, but it's also easily buildable, blendable, and perfect for that light, dewy, "kissed by a happy pink cloud" look. A square-neck lettuce trim "going out" top that a lot of reviewers compare to an expensive mall brand, but muuuuch more affordable. And thank goodness, because once you fall for its comfy stretch and effortless cool, you're going to want it in WAY more colors. Moodmatcher color-changing lipstick, an affordable WinkyLux alternative that not only adapts to the pH of your skin to create a personalized, perfect shade for your skin tone, but lasts for HOURS. Reviewers marvel at its all-day staying power even after meals and breaking a sweat. Look at that lil' green lipstick go!! A plated, jewel-embedded ring you can buy yourself as a little treat if the $1,250 Cartier Love Ring is decidedly out of your budget. Dare I say this version is ... prettier than the designer one? A luxe, super soft two-piece pajama set with some real "vacation mode" energy, so even if your travel plans are "backyard" and "someone else's backyard," you can still feel like you're on a tropical getaway. Psst — reviewers compare these to the $128 Roller Rabbit version! 👀 A high-quality, *just* compressive enough layering T-shirt reviewers love so much that a ton of them tried it and immediately ordered more colors to stock up. This shirt is double-lined but still feels lightweight on the skin, giving a sophisticated, expensive look with a casual feel. Reviewers compare it to Skims at a fraction of the price! E.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter that looked at the iconic (and expensive) Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter and said, "Game on, pal." Not only does this give that dewy, soft, "barely there" finish, but it's designed to hydrate your skin with hyaluronic acid, helping improve your moisture barrier for longterm glowiness, too. Etude's delightfully multipurpose Dear Darling Water Tint, which a lot of reviewers compare to Benefit's Lip Tint. This smudgeproof formula is designed primarily to be a natural-looking, weightless lip stain, but reviewers use it as a blush as well! A pair of elevated, effortlessly chic wide leg petal sweatpants that look like they fell out of an Anthropologie ad. Reviewers love how cozy and breathable these are, and that the style is perfect for indoor lounging *and* outdoor errands. A ridiculously versatile minimalist nylon tote bag for fans of Longchamp's Le Pliage bag who perhaps do not feel responsible enough to own the real deal, knowing how messy and chaotic everyday life and travel plans can get. This version is a dead ringer for the name brand, and reviewers adore that it's nearly waterproof and super comfortable to sling over your shoulder. An Anthropologie-inspired reversible quilted throw blanket you can get in all kinds of fun, lively sprints that will startle your boring couch into having a personality, or give your bed a *much* needed reset after a long dreary winter.

'RHOBH' Erika Jayne's Ex-Husband Tom Girardi Bags 7 Years In Jail For 2024 Guilty Verdict

Tom Girardi, the estranged husband of Erika Jayne, has finally been sentenced for his involvement in an embezzlement scheme. The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star's former beau got the full weight of justice's hammer despite his age and health problems. He was sentenced in a Los Angeles court nearly a year after his guilty verdict. Although Tom Girardi's crimes occurred during his marriage to Erika Jayne, the Bravolebrity escaped the legal drama after initially being named in a lawsuit. The victims of her estranged husband's fraud suspected she was involved in the get-rich scheme, but they eventually dropped their case against her. Girardi may never see the light beyond his prison walls again after bagging seven years in federal prison for his crimes. At 86, that means he may spend the rest of his life behind bars, but the court believes this is a fair price to pay given his years-long embezzlement. U.S. District Judge Josephine Staton did not stop at the 7-year punishment, slamming Girardi with a $35,000 fine and ordering him to pay over $2.3 million in restitution. The former attorney and co-founder of the now-defunct Girardi & Keese was found guilty of stealing from his clients. Prosecutors accused him of embezzling $15 million from his clients over a decade-long period, including the $3 million settlement cash linked to the 2018 Lion Air crash. Additionally, TMZ noted he was slammed for stealing up to $25 million from his law firm to fund Jayne's career in the entertainment industry. During his trial, Girardi maintained his innocence and blamed the missing funds on his former chief financial officer, Christopher Kamon. However, the latter pleaded guilty to only participating in the crime and did not label himself the mastermind. Kamon acknowledged his faults, accepting the guilty verdict for two counts of wire fraud in 2024. He received a 121-month sentence in federal prison for his involvement in the embezzlement scheme. Unlike Kamon, Girardi initially attempted to escape trial using his failing health The Blast covered the story, reporting that the former attorney's legal rep argued that the embezzlement happened amid his battle with dementia. The lawyer stressed that Girardi was innocent as he was ignorant of the crime given his mental state, but the court ruled otherwise. Contrary to Girardi's expectations, he was deemed medically fit to stand trial despite his failing health plea. He attempted to sway the jury during his testimony, claiming that "every client got every penny that every client was supposed to get." Unfortunately, his words did not move them, and he was found guilty of embezzling more than $15 million from former clients. The charges against him first surfaced in December 2020, a month after his then-wife Jayne filed to end their marriage after 21 years. It appeared she was cutting Girardi loose before his legal troubles began, but her actions did not stop victims from naming her in a lawsuit. The allegations implied she knew of her partner's embezzlement; however, she escaped prosecution as her involvement could not be proven. Last November, Jayne addressed the end of her marriage to Girardi in a candid interview with Bravo producer Alex Baskin. During her appearance on the network's "Hot Mic" podcast, she got emotional while recalling the highs and lows of her relationship. According to Jayne, despite her then-husband's faults, he always wished for her success. She noted it was Girardi who encouraged her to become a Housewife, claiming, "Tom told me, and I quote, 'They're doing more for you than you could ever do for them, sign it and return it.'" Although he was always supportive, things changed when Girardi "was on the decline." Jayne recalled his personality did a complete 180, and his focus went from being her biggest fan to almost resenting her. Eventually, they couldn't stop fighting, and she pulled the plug on their marriage. Jayne first met Girardi while working as a cocktail waitress at Beverly Hills' famous restaurant, Chasens. As a single mom, she was moved by the former attorney's kindness, describing him as "a good customer" and "a good tipper." The pair started off platonic for over a year before their relationship turned romantic after a minor hiccup. Jayne recalled giving Girardi her number around Christmas time one year, but he asked his secretary to schedule a dinner date on his behalf to her distaste. The TV personality claimed she turned down the dinner offer, allegedly telling the secretary: "If Mr. Girardi wants to take me out, he can call me in advance himself." Jayne noted he accepted her demands about a week later when he walked into the restaurant to ask her out on a date and the rest is history. How will Erika Jayne react to Tom Girardi's 7-year prison sentence?

'RHOBH' alum Tom Girardi sentenced to 7 years in federal prison for embezzling tens of millions of dollars

Tom Girardi, the famed personal injury attorney who was depicted in the Oscar-winning movie Erin Brockovich and is also the estranged husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne, has been sentenced to more than seven years behind bars for bilking his clients out of millions of dollars. The U.S. Attorney's Office of the Central District of California announced Tuesday that Girardi, who was disbarred in 2022, was sentenced to 87 months in federal prison for leading an embezzlement scheme that defrauded his clients of tens of millions of dollars, much of it meant for treatment for serious physical injuries. Girardi, 86, was also ordered to pay a $35,000 fine and more than $2 million in restitution, and to surrender to federal authorities by July 17. "This self-proclaimed 'champion of justice' was nothing more than a thief and a liar who conned his vulnerable clients out of the millions of dollars," U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli said in a statement. IRS Criminal Investigation Special Agent in Charge Tyler Hatcher added, "This sentencing brings a level of recompense for countless victims of Mr. Girardi's long-running scheme to enrich himself on the backs of clients who trusted him in some of their worst days." An attorney for Girardi didn't immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly's request for comment. Girardi was indicted on charges of stealing more than $18 million from clients in 2023 and found guilty on four counts of wire fraud last August. The 13-day trial found that the disgraced attorney operated his firm, Girardi Keese, "like a Ponzi-scheme," federal prosecutors said, diverting millions won from settlements toward unrelated expenditures between 2010 and 2020. Families of victims of tragedies like a 2018 Lion Air plane crash, for example, were awarded millions in cases fought by Girardi and his co-conspirators, but said they never saw the Girardi Keese CFO Christopher Kazuo Kamon pleaded guilty two two counts of wire fraud in October, was sentenced to 121 months in custody, and was ordered to pay nearly $9 million in restitution. Another Girardi Keese lawyer and Girardi's son-in-law, David R. Lira, is expected to stand trial next month. Jayne filed for divorce from Girardi in 2020 and the couple remain legally separated, though their divorce has not been finalized. Jayne was not implicated in last year's verdict against her ex, but federal prosecutors said during Girardi's trial that among the misappropriated funds, $25 million went to EJ Global, a company founded by Jayne to finance her entertainment career. Girardi and Jayne were jointly hit by a lawsuit alleging embezzlement in 2020, but she was dismissed from the case in 2022. Though the law firm which brought the suit, Edelson PC, claimed at the time of Jayne's dismissal that it planned to refile, a new suit has yet to materialize.
