Major EastEnders star 'QUITS the show after three years to pursue other opportunities'
Bobby Brazier is leaving his role on EastEnders after three years.
The actor, 22, joined the soap in 2022 as Freddy Slater and even won the National Television Award for Rising Star for his work on the show.
But Bobby has been inundated with other offers since taking part on Strictly Come Dancing in 2023.
According to The Sun, the actor will leave Albert Square later this year.
An EastEnders spokeswoman said: 'We can confirm that Bobby Brazier will be leaving EastEnders, and we wish him all the best for the future.'

A source added: 'Bosses had a meeting with Bobby only recently as they had a plan in mind for a storyline, and it just so happened that Bobby was also thinking that now was the right time to look for other opportunities outside the show.
'The timing of the decision worked for both, but his final scenes are not for a while yet. The character has had a great run, but the time is now right for Bobby to look for other opportunities, and for EastEnders to wave goodbye to Freddie Slater.'

Bobby revealed that he 'spent a lot of money' after suddenly becoming a household name during his appearance on Strictly.
He also joked that his newfound fame left him 'thriving' off the attention of older ladies, who he said were fans of his gyrating hips.
Bobby finished in second place behind ex Ellie Leach and won plaudits for his routine in memory of late mother Jade Goody.
Speaking to MailOnline about his time on the show, Bobby insisted that he remained the same person despite the attention, including rumours of a move to Hollywood, but laughed: 'I spent lots of money'
'You kind of just takes it as it comes and nothing really changes, there's what everyone see and then there's your life and I'm too invested in my own life to get wrapped up in what everyone else says and is talking about'.
Before quipping: 'But I did see that a lot of older ladies liked my hips and I loved that and thrived on so that's cool'.
It comes after Bobby's co-star Clair Norris opened up about her emotional departure from the long-running BBC One soap.
The star, 27, who joined the cast in 2017 as Bernie Taylor, is leaving the show after eight years.
Her exit follows the gradual departure of the entire Taylor family, prompting show bosses to write out her much-loved character, news that left Clair devastated.
Despite the disappointment, Clair shared that she's now looking forward to what the future holds.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: 'Obviously it's upsetting but also I'd been there for eight years, which is a long time to play a character, and I have absolutely loved being in the show.

The former Take That singer, 51, took to the stage at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium while Beyonce performed at Tottenham's Stadium just four miles away.
