Billionaire Bill Gates goes incognito with new girlfriend as other Bezos wedding guests lap up the limelight
Gates, 69, and his girlfriend Paula Hurd, 62, played tourists in matching all-black outfits as they were spotted having a low-key date at the Gallerie dell'Accademia di Venezia, a museum full of 19th Century art, on Friday.
Despite being far away from Silicon Valley, Gates still looked the part of a tech entrepreneur and wore a simple black polo shirt with black shorts and a matching belt.
He also wore a black hat to protect himself from the sun and opted for comfortable sneakers to peruse the Italian city.
Hurd, who has been dating Gates since 2023, wore a simple two-piece skirt set and a pair of heeled scandals. She accessorized with an impressive set of diamond earrings, a diamond necklace and black sunglasses.
The pair looked relaxed as they enjoyed the European summer weather before hopping on a water taxi toward an unknown destination.
They were seen attending one of Bezos and Sanchez's wedding events last night, where they opted for elegant looks. Gates in a black suit, sans tie, and his lover in an off-shoulder black dress.
The pair have mainly kept a low profile while attending the flashy wedding of the year, unlike other guests who have lapped up their time in the limelight.
US First Daughter, Ivanka Trump, was so excited to show off her stunning Oscar de la Renta mini dress online that she sparked security concerns.
Among the many pictures of Trump in a textured pink mini dress was a photo of her hotel room and many worried online sleuths would be able to find out the location from it.
Bezos and Sanchez have already had to make a last-minute venue change due to protests from angry locals and global tensions arising from the US strike on Iran over this past weekend.
Other notable guests, such as the Kardashians and actor Orlando Bloom, also attended.
Gates and Hund went public with their relationship in February 2023 after he and his ex-wife Melinda Gates announced their divorce in May 2021.
The philanthropist, 60, revealed details of her separation from the Microsoft founder on her new book, The Next Day. The former power couple of 27 years divorced in 2021 after Gates' links to pedophile sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein emerged.
Melinda writes that she told Gates she wanted a divorce in August, 2020, and the two shared a long, sometimes 'tender' conversation, as reported by People.
'And then I got in the car to drive home,' she shared. 'On the way back, I pulled over into a parking lot and put on a Willie Nelson song we used to listen to together, Always on My Mind. I bawled, sobbing over the steering wheel.'

Melinda also reveals in her new book that she started having nightmares of her family falling apart in the months before she decided it was time to separate from Gates.
'Bill has publicly acknowledged that he wasn't always faithful to me,' she admitted, noting the 'deeply disturbing' article that reported on Gates' meetings with Epstein.
The billionaire admitted to an affair with a Microsoft employee in 2000 and while the couple worked through it, Melinda said it left her struggling to trust him.
Gates says his dealings with Epstein were a huge mistake and added that he had no idea of the criminal behavior the financier was engaging in behind the scenes.
I knew, in that moment, that I was going to have to make a decision - and that I was going to have to make it by myself,' Melinda said about the moment she had a nightmare where she 'plummeted' into a void alongside her family.
The mom-of-three recalled how she and Gates took a trip to New Mexico together in February 2020 which she had initially planned to take alone.
On the final night, she sat the Microsoft founder down and told him she wanted to start living apart.
'It was one of the scariest conversations I'd have had,' Melinda wrote.
Her agonizing decision came in the wake of controversy over her ex-husband's friendship with sex trafficker Epstein, who was found dead in his jail cell while awaiting trial in 2019.

Molly Mae Hague vows to keep posting about parenting despite backlash as she insists she 'regrets nothing' - but Tommy Fury admits he doesn't feel the same way
Molly Mae Hague has insisted she will keep posting about motherhood to help others despite suffering fierce backlash from trolls online. However just as his partner vowed to keep sharing her life on social media, Tommy Fury admitted he is not the type of person to open his life up to the world. The influencer, 26, regularly shares vlogs sharing her experience with parenting their daughter Bambi, two, but her more recent videos have caused a stir. She was recently forced to hit back at followers who claimed her sister Zoe, 28, was 'more of a dad' to Bambi after spotting the boxer missing from her many vlogs. Speaking in a new YouTube video after a few weeks off, Molly Mae said: 'No matter what went on online after my last couple of videos, do I have a single regret for speaking about how I feel in my motherhood journey over the past couple of weeks? 'Absolutely not. In my DMs, the messages that I receive when I open up about my feelings towards motherhood and how sometimes I'm feeling and I'm vulnerable about it, like it makes it so incredibly worth it. 'Because the messages I receive, I have mums actually saying to me, like, you don't understand how much I needed to hear what you said. I know it's what I need to do. Like. I'm not going to shy away ever from talking about how I'm really feeling in any situation' While Molly Mae is set on still opening up her life to the camera, Tommy said he is 'not the type of guy to have a YouTube channel', while discussing his upcoming fly on the wall documentary, Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury. He said: 'I thought it was important for me to share the documentary because like I've said many times I'm not the type of guy who will sit down in front of a camera and have a YouTube channel where it's me doing Q&As and talking about my life like that. 'I'm a fighter and that's what I've always been and I feel like by doing this documentary people are going to see a side to me that they have never seen before, because I don't show that. 'They only known what they see on Instagram and seeing me fight but there's a whole other layer beyond that which people will see in the documentary, so that's why it felt like the right time.' Prior to their split, Tommy did appear in Molly Mae's vlogs and fans recently questioned why he is now missing from them now they have reconciled. Molly Mae admitted she and Tommy are 'still figuring things out' in their relationship. In her latest YouTube video Molly-Mae defended him and said: 'I've seen so many comments saying "Zoe is more the dad" I only vlog when I am not with Tommy, I am with Tommy literally 80% of the week and he is with Bambi majority of the week,' 'But I vlog when we are here and he is at his because it's just something that I am not ready to like open up with yet and like flinging the camera around like when we're a family'. Before adding: 'I just think like we're not there yet and still figuring out life and living situations. I'm not ready to vlog like we used to'. Molly-Mae later broke down in tears as she opened up about Bambi's tantrum and explained that everything was a 'huge problem' even convincing the toddler to wear shoes. Filming herself in the driving seat with Bambi in the back she said: 'I'm trying so so hard to stay positive but, I feel like I need to keep my camera running all day so you can see like every single thing,' '[Bambi] is a huge problem, [She] screams [I] can't even get like socks and shoes on'. Molly-Mae and Tommy split in August last year, later citing the boxer's struggle with alcohol as the reason for their break-up, but reconciled earlier this year. They have faced accusations their breakup was a 'publicity stunt' after they were filmed sharing a passionate kiss on New Year's Eve ahead of the launch of her three-part Prime Video series. Molly previously said her biggest 'frustration' was having their breakup questioned by skeptics when there was a lot more happening behind the scenes. Elsewhere in the new video Molly-Mae tearfully broke her silence following recent backlash from fans who once again branded the whinging millionaire influencer 'out of touch'. She has been accused of 'always moaning' in recent weeks after complaining she'd 'not done one fun thing all summer' despite jetting off to multiple destinations. She also faced criticism after complaining about a recent £86,000 motorhome holiday. Molly-Mae's sister has also come under fire for her 'tone deaf' posts of late after revealing she had fled Bali for Dubai after just 48 hours because it didn't live up to her expectations. In the clip Molly-Mae claimed that she 'didn't care' about the uproar but has been left 'scared' about discussing anything 'controversial' She said: 'I don't care who tells me I am out of touch with reality or all this stuff thats going on on T ikTok at the minute, I don't care i'm not going to not talk about it'. She later went on: 'I feel like I don't want to talk about anything controversial anymore because in the last video I said some things I probably could have worded better and even with all the motherhood things I am talking about at the minute, it's just a lot'. 'Debunking that whole thing about me feeling like I shouldn't talk about what is going on in the day because I am scared about what people will think and what they have to say about it'. She said: 'I've see so many comments saying "Zoe is more the dad" I only vlog when I am not with Tommy, I am with him literally 80% of the week and he is with Bambi majority of the week' 'But I vlog when we are here and he is at his because it's just something that I am not ready to like open up with yet and like flinging the camera around like when we're a family' The couple split in August last year, later citing the boxer's struggle with alcohol as the reason for their break-up, but reconciled earlier this year Last week fans blasted the TV personality for 'always moaning' after after she said she'd 'not done one fun thing all summer' despite jetting off to multiple destinations. She said in her vlog: 'I said to a friend the other day, that I'm going to make it to the end of summer having not done one fun thing.' She then spoke to her sister and said: 'Zoe, I haven't socialised once. I'm going to get to the end of this summer having not done one social fun thing. 'I haven't a life. That's not good is it. Summer will end and I've not done one fun social thing.' It left some fans open-mouthed as they called out how she failed to acknowledge the three holidays she's already been on this year. Some comments read: 'She's a millionaire, she can literally wake up tomorrow and do whatever the hell she wants', 'Wimbledon, lunches, Spain, Dubai, France, Centre Parcs... let's normalise that', 'This was so jarring because she can casually spend 6k in Dior on an outfit to log to Wimbledon then complains she has no time for herself', 'Why does she always want us to feel sorry for her?'
