England v Italy referee: Who is Six Nations official Andrew Brace?
Andrew Brace is the referee for England vs Italy at Twickenham in round four of the 2025 Six Nations.
Born in Cardiff, Brace represents the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) after a childhood spent between Wales and Ireland.
A former community rugby officer for Munster, the 36-year-old represented Belgium during a brief international playing career, qualifying for the country via his father's family.
He made his debut in the then-Pro 14, now known as the United Rugby Championship, in 2015, and has since officiated more than 100 games in the competition.
A Test debut arrived in 2017, while three years later, he oversaw both the Pro 14 final and the Autumn Nations Cup decider between England and France at Twickenham.
An assistant in 2019, Brace made his World Cup debut with the whistle at the tournament in 2023, taking charge of three pool fixtures as the sole IRFU referee in France.
It is a cosmopolitan officiating team for the final fixture of the penultimate weekend, with Welsh, French, South African and Scottish representation alongside the man in the middle.

June 7 (Reuters) - Inter Milan have signed Brazilian forward Luis Henrique from Ligue 1 side Olympique de Marseille, the Serie A club announced on Saturday. While the length of the contract and financial details were not disclosed, Italian media reported the 23-year-old had signed until 2030 in a deal valued at 23 million euros ($26.21 million) plus a further 2 million euros in add-ons. Henrique began his career at Botafogo before signing for Marseille in 2020. Bukayo Saka has been left out of England's squad for Saturday's World Cup qualifier against Andorra. Thomas Tuchel's side continue the road to next summer's tournament at the RCDE Stadium in Barcelona against the side ranked 173rd in the world. A minor injury saw Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins leave the camp on the eve of the Group K clash, while Atletico Madrid midfielder Conor Gallagher and Arsenal forward Saka will miss the Andorra game after being left out of the matchday squad submitted to UEFA. Tuchel revealed Saka was suffering with a knock on Friday but thinks he can feature in Tuesday's friendly against Senegal. 'It's nice to see that he's back because he wanted to be back, and you straight away see when he comes in that he is comfortable to be with the squad, he knows what it takes to be a national player,' the England boss said. 'He came into camp with a little bit of discomfort from the last match against Southampton, so we took care of him and treated him individually until (Friday) basically. 'It was the first training session that he started and finished with the group. (Thursday), he started with the group but did not finish with the group, so let's see. 'I'm not sure if we take the risk for the game. The decision has not been taken, but he will be available for the Senegal match, and he plays a major role in our thoughts of how to build a competitive team.'
