This milestone aligns with Casio's efforts to enhance product availability, support national manufacturing goals, and respond more intuitively to Indian consumer preferences. Micro review: Elevate executive presence with 3 P's: Poise, Power and performance by Samira Gupta

Credit: Elevate executive presence with 3P's: Poise, power and performance/ @zorbabooks This book by Samira Gupta explains what it truly means to present yourself as a leader in contemporary workplaces. It interacts with such themes as self-awareness, emotional intelligence, clear communication, good decision-making, and professional presentation, not as discrete skills but as interdependent parts of an ensemble. A lot of attention is given to self-awareness: paying attention to personal values, learning about emotional triggers, and identifying blind spots. The thought is that self-knowledge-based leadership is more stable and directed. What is the book about? Poise is not only defined as composure, but also as a combination of inner confidence, feeling for others, and the capacity to remain calm in pressure situations. This carries over into observable behaviours—how leaders present themselves, how they dress, how they use body language—and how those external signals can reinforce what they believe in. Communication is treated as central to influence. There's attention to listening as much as speaking, using negotiation thoughtfully, and shaping stories that connect rather than just persuade. Decision-making draws on established frameworks, but the emphasis is on applying them in real, uncertain situations rather than following formulas. Performance is seen more widely, not just results, but attitude too. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Discover Nikoo Homes from ₹1.2 Cr* Nikoo Homes Sadahalli Learn More Undo Resilience, flexibility, and emotional stability are regarded as indicators of leadership that construct and do not exhaust. The book also examines how to build spaces in which individuals can feel comfortable to speak up, try things, and learn—borrowing the idea of psychological safety. Issues such as managing conflict, managing change, and building inclusion are dealt with as applied leadership issues and not ideals. Overall, it presents a systematic approach to thinking about executive presence—not as an imagined presentation to provide, but as habits and attitudes that can develop in response to the challenges of contemporary leadership. Exclusive! Boman Irani celebrates Parsi New Year: Without good Bhonu, there is no festival in a Parsi house

Parsi New Year at the Irani household is equal parts laughter, food, and heartfelt tradition. This year, actor Boman Irani marked the occasion with a rare treat — a photoshoot alongside his sons that captured their easy camaraderie and warmth. The images, brimming with affection, mirror the spirit of the festival itself. 'I'm a big believer that festivals bring families together,' he tells us, and adds, 'It was nice to horse around with my boys like we were kids again. Especially that picture of the kids on my lap — it just shows proximity, affection, love, and most importantly, that we are in a good space with each other.' Boman along with his sons Danesh and Kayoze went to the Agyari to pray. "We are pretty united as a family, we meet more often than most people. I just love it when we sit in the car together and head out — like when we came to the Agyari for the shoot," he shares. The Mehta Boys actor's childhood Parsi New Year memories are vivid. 'It was always about new clothes. I'd get so excited to wear new clothes. Sometimes those clothes were oversized or undersized because we'd buy them well in advance. Ready-made clothes were invariably ill-fitting — and stiff — if you know what I mean,' he laughs. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like What Will Happen to Your Body If You Start Eating 3 Eggs Every Day? Undo And of course, there's the food. 'Without good Bhonu, there is no festival in a Parsi house. Without Bhonu, there's no fun,' he quips. Talking further what is made at their house, he adds, 'Many people don't know Dhansak is not feast food. It can be dhan dal with Kolmi no Patio. Yellow dal or fish is considered very auspicious. Achar, gajar meva nu achar, Parsi pulao or berry pulao — these are more or less standard.' While Boman confesses he's never really cooked, he praises the women in his family. 'I might not be a bad cook, but I've never tried. Zenobia is outstanding. Her mother was outstanding. My mother, not so much — she used to sit at the shop and come home late. But on the odd occasion she cooked, it was outstanding.' 10 days before the Parsi New Year is also a time to remember those who are no longer around. 'We do prayers for the ones who have passed on. In a way, it's about understanding your presence on this planet," he concludes. "Get the latest news updates on Times of India, including reviews of the movie Coolie and War 2 ."
