Shares of Ola Electric Mobility slipped 1.2% to a fresh record low of Rs 39.90 on Thursday after 1.29 million shares changed hands in a block trade on the BSE. The identities of the buyers and sellers involved in the transaction were not immediately known.Last month, a block deal worth Rs 731 crore saw 14.22 crore shares—representing a 3.23% stake—change hands at an average price of Rs 51.40, with Hyundai Motor Company reported as the seller.The continued slide in Ola Electric 's stock follows a disappointing performance in the March quarter (Q4 FY25). The company reported a net loss of Rs 870 crore, more than double the Rs 416 crore loss posted in the same period last year. Revenue from operations dropped 62% year-on-year to Rs 611 crore as vehicle deliveries declined to 51,375 units from 1.15 lakh a year ago.Auto EBITDA margin fell sharply to -78.6% from -9.3% in Q4 FY24, while the consolidated EBITDA margin worsened to -101.4%, weighed down by high provisioning and weak operating leverage. However, gross margins improved modestly to 19.2%, aided by higher monetisation and a growing share of Gen-3 platform vehicles, which offer 20% more power and range at 11% lower cost compared to Gen-2 models.For the full year, Ola Electric delivered 3.59 lakh vehicles, up from 3.29 lakh in FY24. Adjusted revenue for FY25 stood at Rs 4,665 crore, with a consolidated EBITDA margin of -34.6%.Since listing in August 2024 at Rs 91.20, Ola Electric shares have fallen over 47.5% from their IPO issue price of Rs 76. The stock is down 53.6% year-to-date and has plummeted 75% from its 52-week high of Rs 157.50.According to Trendlyne, the average analyst target for the stock is Rs 54, indicating a potential upside of nearly 36% from current levels. Of the seven analysts tracking the company, the consensus rating is 'Hold'.Despite aggressive expansion plans in the EV ecosystem, Ola Electric continues to face criticism over customer service and vehicle repair issues. Remove Ads Kalyan Jewellers India on Thursday reported a 49% growth in its Q1FY26 consolidated net profit at Rs 264 crore versus Rs 178 crore in the year ago period. The profit after tax (PAT) is attributable to the owners of the company's revenue from operations stood at Rs 7,268 crore which was up 31% from Rs 5,528 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the last financial PAT was up 41% on a sequential basis versus Rs 188 crore reported in Q4FY25 while the topline increased 18% compared to Rs 6,182 crore posted by the jeweler in the January-March standalone revenue (India) for Q1FY26 was reported at Rs 6,142 crore, which is a growth of 31% when compared with the same period in the previous financial year while PAT was reported at Rs 256 crore recording a growth of 55% when compared with the same period in the previous financial operations recorded revenue of Rs 1,070 crore for Q1FY26, a growth of 32% when compared with the same period in the previous financial year. Middle East revenue and PAT for Q1FY26 stood at Rs 1,026 crore and Rs 22 crore respectively, a growth of 27% and 18% lifestyle jewellery platform Candere, recorded a revenue of 66 crore and net loss of 10 crore for Q1 on the earnings, Executive Director Ramesh Kalyanaraman said that the company has started off the ongoing quarter well despite continuing volatility in gold prices and a higher base. "We are upbeat about the upcoming festive season across the country and are gearing up for the launch of fresh collections and campaigns,' he in Thrissur in the state of Kerala, Kalyan Jewellers is one the largest jewellery retailers in India with a presence in the Middle East and the US.
