Justin Bieber Ends Undisclosed Friendship With Person Upset Over Him 'Lashing Out'

Yahoo8 hours ago

Justin Bieber spent his first Father's Day with his adorable son, Jack Blues Bieber, but also took a moment to make it clear he'd ended a relationship with an undisclosed friend.
Justin shared a series of texts between himself and the unknown person, where he wrote, 'I will never suppress my emotions for someone. Conflict is part of relationship. If you don't like my anger, you don't like me. My anger is a response to pain I have been thru. Asking a traumatized person not to be traumatized is simply mean.'
In response to his former friend saying he's not used to someone 'lashing out,' Justin wrote 'ouch' and then said, 'This friendship is officially over. I will never accept a man calling my anger lashing out.' He went on to say, 'I enjoyed our short-lived relationship' and 'I wasn't kidding when I told u I didn't need u as a friend. I have good friends who will respect these boundaries.'

Justin hasn't elaborated on who this person is nor has he spoken more candidly about the source of his trauma. His posts come amid speculation about his and Hailey Baldwin's marriage, but for what it's worth, they spent Father's Day together after a date-night getaway, and and Hailey shared one of his posts to her Instagram Stories.

Carolyn Besette Kennedy's Colorist on Those Ryan Murphy Images

When Ryan Murphy Productions dropped the first teaser images for the upcoming American Love Story, the world… well, had opinions. The new spin-off anthology series tells the story of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette Kennedy's romance, and for many, the images left a lot to be desired. Specifically, actor Sarah Pidgeon's transformation into Carolyn, which included almost Gwen Stefani-level blonde hair. And while the Internet immediately critiqued Pidgeon's hair transformation, I wanted to go straight to the source to see how right or wrong it really was: hair colorist Brad Johns, who was known for creating Carolyn's still-talked-about blonde in the 1990s. Johns was the colorist of the era. His clients included everyone from Kate Moss and artist Cindy Sherman, to New York City socialites and fashion insiders, including, of course, Bessette. In a 1996 Vogue September issue feature, then beauty editor Amy Astley called Johns 'Golden Boy, the Founding Father of Chunking… the Color Czar.' The next year, Johns opened his eponymous salon on Fifth Avenue with eight perpetually-filled chairs. In a three-page spread from Allure's September 1998 issue, writer Martha Barnette described his signature 'chunking' technique, which became popular after he did it on Christy Turlington. It's 'basically grabbing handfuls of hair and highlighting them,' Barnette wrote. Before I reached out, Johns wasn't even aware that American Love Story was happening and hadn't seen the images. After they popped up in his inbox (courtesy of a few screenshots I sent), his ruling was blunt: 'No one would believe that Carolyn in the '90s would ever have that color from me. It's too 2024.' After that, we decided to get on the phone and chat more about Bessette's hair color, their relationship, and more. First, I ask Johns to describe Bessette's exact color to me, something he says 'we worked really hard to get right.' Bessette's hair was a natural light brown, but he took her to what he describes as a 'toffee' shade. From there, it was all about his signature chunking technique. 'I went in and put the highlight chunks in three foils around the front of her face, and then two underneath for when she wore her hair up.'

PlayStation's concert series is coming to the US

Sony is bringing its PlayStation concerts to the US this fall, where you can hear live performances of tracks from franchises like God of War, The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima, and Horizon. Ticket pre-sales for PlayStation: The Concert begin on Wednesday, and you can see the full list of current tour dates on the PlayStation website. In addition to music from those big tentpole games (and the setlist better include Ghost of Tsushima's incredible title drop), the concerts will showcase 'fan-favorite themes from Bloodborne, Astrobot, Journey, Uncharted, and Helldivers 2, offering a rich and diverse journey through the PlayStation universe. A live band will play the music while 'the latest LED technology and state-of-the-art multi-layered projections' will turn the stage into 'a mesmerizing visual masterpiece.' These sorts of video game concert series are becoming increasingly common. Square Enix put on a FFVII Rebirth -focused tour, for example – I went to it last year, it was fun! Kojima Productions is putting on a Death Stranding 2 concert series that will begin a world tour later this year. And after the brief orchestral performance of Balatro's soundtrack at The Game Awards last year, I'm hoping that Jimbo hits the road with his band someday, too.

A Lobster, 110, Is Finally Free. Why 1 Restaurant Decided He Should Be Swimming in the Ocean — Instead of Butter

A 110-year-old lobster, Lorenzo, is free of his tank On Thursday, June 12, Peter's Clam Bar in Long Island released its mascot to the ocean with the help of local officials "He's now living his best life — clawing his way to freedom," the restaurant wrote on FacebookA century-old lobster has returned to the ocean after being pardoned by two Long Island officials. On Thursday, June 12, Lorenzo — a 21-lb., 110-year-old lobster — was released by Butch Yamali, the owner of Peter's Clam Bar in Island Park, where Lorenzo was an iconic staple, CW affiliate WPIX, News12 and NBC affiliate WNBC reported. In honor of National Lobster Day and Father's Day, Lorenzo received a full pardon with the help of Hempstead Town Supervisor Don Clavin and Nassau County Legislator John Ferretti, according to WPIX. 'Lorenzo just kind of slipped through the cracks and ended up in our tank for years,' Yamali said of his restaurant's mascot. 'People would come see him and take pictures with him, and he was just an object of the store.' The move mirrors the restaurant's release of another lobster, Lenny, years before. While Lorenzo will be missed, Yamali told the outlet that it's better this way. (The owner didn't immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.) 'If he passed away here, it wouldn't be a good thing,' he told WPIX, 'and I couldn't have the heart to sell him.' Lorenzo traveled to Atlantic Beach Reef with a full escort on a Hempstead Bay Constable boat, according to WNBC. 'Most people celebrate National Lobster Day with butter,' Ferretti told the outlet. 'But not today!" The restaurant also had fun celebrating Lorenzo's newfound freedom. 'He's now living his best life — clawing his way to freedom,' wrote the clam bar on Facebook, 'and soaking up the salty breeze (instead of butter).' Read the original article on People
