and attempts to corrupt matches in that tournament which were disrupted by the ICC, the Designated Anti-Corruption Official (DACO) for the purposes of the ECB's Code for the tournament.

Article 2.1.1 states: "Being party to an attempt to fix, contrive or influence improperly matches or aspects of matches in the Abu Dhabi T10 2021."
As per Article 2.1.3, Saman offered "a Reward to another Participant in exchange for that player engaging in Corrupt Conduct under the Code."
Article 2.1.4 states: "Directly or indirectly soliciting, inducing, enticing, instructing, persuading, encouraging or intentionally facilitating any Participant to breach Code Article 2.1".

Thane: The Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) in Thane has directed the owner of a container truck and its insurer to pay ₹20.49 lakh as compensation to the family of a 35-year-old labourer who died after being run over in Bhiwandi in December 2013. Thoothukudi Collector hoists national flag; distributes welfare aid worth ₹5.49 core
Thoothukudi Collector K. Elambahavath hoisted the national flag and honoured the outstanding government employees for their service during the 79th Independence Day celebrations held at Tharuvai Grounds here on Friday. He along with Superintendent of Police Albert John inspected the guard of honour of the police and took salute from the police, fire and rescue service personnel, NCC cadets and home guards. The Collector then honoured 515 government employees from various departments, including health, agriculture, horticulture, revenue, police, social welfare etc,. with certificates for their meritorious works in their respective fields. At the event government lawyers and police personnel who had successfully prosecuted criminals and secured their convictions were also awarded. 11 schoolchildren, driver injured as van returning from I-Day event collides with car in Kota
Kota: Eleven schoolchildren and the driver of a private school van were injured in a head-on collision with a car on the Sangod-Khanpur Road in Rajasthan's Kota district on Friday, police said. The van overturned after colliding with the car. (Praful Gangurde / HT Photo) (praful Gangurde) The accident occurred around noon when the students of a private upper primary school in Sangod were returning home after participating in an Independence Day event at the school, local SHO Lakhan Singh said. The van overturned after colliding with the car coming from the opposite direction, leaving 11 children in the 7-15 years age group and the driver, identified as Rohit (22), injured, the SHO said. The injured were rushed to a community health centre, from where doctors referred five kids and Rohit to the New Medical College Hospital in Kota. All the injured were reported to be out of danger, the officer said. The passengers of the car escaped unhurt, as the airbags opened on time, Singh said. Polive have seized both the vehicles after filing a case under the relevant sections of law, he added.
