The brand-new and highly anticipated "Crayon Shinchan: Space & Time Adventure Interactive Exhibition" is INCUBASE Studio's latest original curation, now officially open at Kai Tak Mall through August 31. Making its Hong Kong debut as part of an Asia tour, the exhibition is also the first interactive Crayon Shinchan showcase in the city and the first large-scale themed exhibition hosted at the prominent Kai Tak Mall. Drawing from the manga, anime and movies, the exhibition spans 5 themed zones and 9 exhibition areas filled with interactive games and mobile app integrations, offering a whimsical, time-traveling adventure for visitors of all ages.

Meanwhile, the anime culture hub INCUBASE Arena brought the "Delicious in Dungeon Exploration Exhibition" to Hong Kong for the first time, featuring detailed recreations of iconic scenes, exclusive photo zones, and a special appearance by voice actor Asuna Tomari at the opening ceremony. The exhibition also includes a showcase of art replica by author Ryoko Kui, adding artistic depth to the experience. This marks the first project following INCUBASE Studio's strategic partnership with K11 Concepts Management, leveraging the K11 Experience ticketing platform to reach a broader audience.

With the Crayon Shin Chan Pop-up Cafe opening on 19 Jun, you can see him jiggling away in real life. The pop-up cafe will be taking place at Wong Fufu, which you may remember from last year's Miffy Hotpot event. Shin Chan Our Dinosaur Diary and Shin Chan The Spicy Kasukabe Dancers In India will released locally through multiplex operator PVR INOX Pictures. Dinosaur Diary will land on May 5, with Kasukabe Dancers in India debuting during Diwali season in October. Both will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Japanese with English subtitles. The Shin Chan TV series originally launched in India in 2006, airing daily on Hungama TV before switching to Sony Pictures Networks India-owned Sony Yay! in May 2024. The brand follows a five-year-old who constantly gets into trouble and, together with his baby sister, never fails to keep things interesting. Directors UK & Producers Set Out Guidelines On 'Respectful' Work Directors UK, BBC Studios, ITV Studios and Pact have set out new guidelines over how production companies will work with directors. These guidelines include the director's creative role being 'respected,' the first time this has been put down on paper. Other principles include 'prep time is vital' and 'producers and directors must comply with policies addressing respectful working conditions,' coming at a time when the latter is in the spotlight.
