What to expect on your visit to Disney's Castaway Cay
Castaway Cay is Disney's private island, reserved exclusively for Disney Cruise Line guests in the Bahamas.
YouTube's most-subscribed-to content creator has once again made a larger-than-life purchase by paying $500,000 to rent out an entire Disneyland theme park for a "romantic date" with his fiancée.
In a new YouTube video, MrBeast, the social media persona of Jimmy Donaldson, takes his fiancée Thea Booysen on six dates that range from $1 to $500,000, concluding with what he says was an evening at Disneyland all to themselves (in addition to a handful of friends and crew, of course).
The group rode Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Pixar Pal-A-Round (the 150-foot-tall Ferris wheel); played several carnival-style games; and built custom lightsabers at Savi's Workshop in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
"There are no words to describe how special it is to have Disney all to ourselves," Donaldson said in the little over 17-minute video. "I think we all made memories that are going to last a lifetime."
Birthdays at Disneyland: Duchess Meghan, Prince Harry take Archie and Lilibet to Disneyland for birthday
MrBeast is not the first celeb to rent out Disneyland
On Feb. 27, 1992, actress Elizabeth Taylor rented out all of Disneyland to celebrate her 60th birthday. The entire park shut down for the birthday bash, which required extra security. Hundreds of celebrities attended the party, which proved to be a successful marketing promotion for Disney.
Theme parks: New report finds Disneyland, Disney World contribute $67B to US economy
Can you actually rent out all of Disneyland?
Disney did not immediately respond to USA TODAY's request for comment on MrBeast's video or consumers' ability to rent out an entire theme park. However, several Disney-centric blogs like Magic Guides say it is not possible.
"Closing down the resort for a day would be a public relations nightmare and would severely disrupt how guests could plan and book their trips," Magic Guides' author Joshua Powell wrote.
Disneyland does offer some private and after-hours experiences, though, like Disney After Hours, in which customers can purchase tickets for three extended hours after the park's traditional closing time. The theme park also offers Disney's Fair Tale Weddings & Honeymoons, which allows couples and their family to rent various venues, including The Sleeping Beauty Castle Forecourt and Small World Mall.

Where to watch Trump's DC military parade: Livestream, TV channels, more
Where to watch Trump's DC military parade: Livestream, TV channels, more Show Caption Hide Caption Army Golden Knights parachute team practices for military parade The Army's Golden Knights parachute team has been preparing for months to perform at the 250th anniversary military parade. The stage is set for a grand parade to celebrate the U.S. Army's 250th anniversary, which falls on the same day as President Donald Trump's 79th birthday and Flag Day. The day-long festival will take place primarily at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, June 14, with music performances, fireworks and a pomp-filled procession through the streets. More than two dozen M1 Abrams tanks, scores of infantry vehicles and thousands of soldiers are expected to be involved in the event. Trump, himself, will be watching the parade from a reviewing stand just south of the White House that is now being constructed for the occasion. The parade is expected to cost around $40 million, USA TODAY previously reported, including the promise to help the D.C. government deal with the aftermath of driving tanks on D.C. roads, with the president referring to the number as "peanuts." The last major military parade was held in 1991 to celebrate the end of the first Gulf War, which makes the occasion a rare sight in Washington, D.C. The large military movement into the city comes only days after Trump sent 4,000 National Guard troops and 700 Marines to Los Angeles amid an immigration crackdown and protests. Baby Grizzly Bear Running at Full Speed Is Impossible to Resist
Baby Grizzly Bear Running at Full Speed Is Impossible to Resist originally appeared on PetHelpful. As spring blooms into summer, more and more animals are making the most of the warm, sunny weather. Baby animals are beginning to grow up and explore their surroundings, and wildlife encounters are at their peak. Whether you're visiting the mountains or observing bears in your backyard, you never know what, or who, you may see this time of year. For travelers and nature enthusiasts like Shelby, summertime animal sightings in National Parks are practically guaranteed. Even so, a bear encounter as cute as this is almost unheard of! On May 31, she shared a video of the cutest grizzly bear cub chasing their mom across a road near Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. It's no secret that baby bears are athletic and agile, but this little one's speed is 'pawsitively' impressive! OMG, could this mama and baby bear be any cuter? Even though they are huge, deadly predators, they're also absolutely adorable from a distance. It's easy to see why Shelby and other park visitors had to get this moment on camera! "I've seen a lot of baby bear cubs, but not one that's run that fast!" Lake Tahoe resident Kathi commented. This little one can seriously book it! The Lake Tahoe area is one of the most populous bear habitats in the Western US, so if this cub is fast compared to California bears, they must really be it's all in the species! California is home to black bears, not brown bears like the pair in this video. Grizzly bears are faster than black bears by a large amount, so there's no question who would win in a race. Running quickly can be a great skill for a bear cub to learn, especially in a place with both traffic and people to run away from. Bears also rely on their speed and strength when hunting for food, though the little one is more likely to use their speed for play or keeping up with mom. A casual bear encounter from the safety of a car is an animal lover's dream come true. Thanks for sharing, Shelby! Looking for more PetHelpful updates? Bold Black Bear Cub Drinking Coffee From Man's Mug on Mountain Porch is the Most Magical Morning Scene
Bold Black Bear Cub Drinking Coffee From Man's Mug on Mountain Porch is the Most Magical Morning Scene originally appeared on PetHelpful. After having lived in the suburbs, in a busy city's downtown, and in a small town in the hills, I can understand why people enjoy living in the countryside. Two-lane roads are a lot less overwhelming than six-lane highways, and who doesn't love seeing a baby deer on their way to work? However, when you live somewhere truly isolated, like a cabin in the forest, coexisting with animals is a given, too. This can come as a shock to some, but for 'mountain man' @stevenson_t, it feels perfectly natural to see black bears wandering near, and even on, his property. The homeowner shares his black bear encounters on TikTok, but one particular interaction with a curious black bear cub on June 4 left everyone laughing out loud. The bold little bear helps themself to the man's morning coffee! OMG, I've never seen a bear cub drinking coffee before! It seems like the little one likes what they taste, considering how many times they came back for more. If the close proximity and little paw dip into the coffee weren't convincing enough, that eye contact sealed the deal. This curious cub reminds me of my dogs attempting to help themselves to everything I eat or drink, but I wouldn't stop a bear the same way I would stop my dog. A morning coffee is nice, but it's not worth risking an angry mama bear!I can hardly believe that someone casually interacts with black bear cubs like this. They're literally face to face! Clearly, the bears have been seeing him regularly since birth, so he's just another pal, but it's hard to believe that Mama Bear is just as friendly. "This is her second litter," the bear whisperer replied to a commenter. "She brings them right up to meet me." That's simply magical! It must have taken years for this man to build a trusting relationship with these wild animals, but his patience and hard work paid off adorably. As many commenters pointed out, this interaction would have gone very differently if these cubs were brown bears. Avoiding close interactions with all bears is a great rule of thumb, but if you do happen upon a bear in the wild, you'd better hope it's a black bear like the ones in this video. Both types of bears tend to avoid human interaction when necessary, but black bears can be more easily intimidated and are more likely to run away when frightened. Brown bears (including grizzly bears), on the other hand, are more likely to attack. Luckily for this man, he's made friends with a trusting family of black bears who are just as willing to coexist as he is. I hope their safe interactions continue for as long as possible!
