Skechers' new trainers are like ‘walking on air' and rival Nike's Air Max 90s for £50 less
Shoppers have been racing to snap up one of Skechers' newest launches, with the UNO Stand on Air trainers becoming a huge hit with those looking for a comfortable, easy to style shoe to wear all day. The new £80 trainers have already been hailed as 'so comfortable' and 'like walking on air' by customers, with plenty snapping them up to wear for work.
As well as being comfortable, the trainers also have a resemblance to Nike's Air Max 90 trainers, which come with a much higher price tag of £134.99. Whilst the Nike's are known for their signature air bubble sole and raised heel, the Skechers UNO trainers also share similar design details making them a great affordable alternative.
The Skechers trainers feature an air-cushioned mid-sole for bounce and impact absorption, with an air-cooled memory foam insole for added pressure relief, instant comfort, and breathability. The lace up style and perforated smooth faux leather uppers also give them a sleek, easy-to-style finish.
The UNO Stand on Air trainers come in a huge 24 different colours including work-appropriate neutrals like white and black, as well as bold fun colours like pink, purple and red. You can pick them up in both medium and wide fits, with sizes two to nine to choose from, including half sizes to make sure you're getting a perfect fit.
Other trainer options that feature a similar silhouette and lightweight design without breaking the bank include Puma's Trinity 2 Unisex Sneakers, which are currently £54 down from £68. You could also snap up the coveted Reebok ERS World Trainers, which are sold out almost everywhere but we've managed to track down almost all sizes on sale for £49.99 down from £99.99.
However Skechers shoppers have been raving about the comfort of the UNO Stand on Air trainers, with more than 1300 five star reviews. One simply praised them as: 'Great work shoe, very comfortable.'
Whilst another added: 'I bought these shoes for working purposes. As a healthcare provider I spend a lot of my working hours (from 8 to 16 hours daily) on my feet. Wanted something comfortable, easy to clean and with a fluid repellent surface.'
Others found the fit a little tricky but loved how comfortable they are, saying: 'I wear 6.5 and had to return and get a 7.5 Love them so comfortable really feels like walking on air I work 10+ hours these help so much.'
Meanwhile others couldn't get past the fit, with one complaining: 'I love the look and style of these. I wore them 3 times and my feet just ached so bad.'
Another agreed: 'I wear a 7 1/2 and they feel too small. I usually take a medium width and these feel too tight. I like the look of it and all, but they do not seem to fit quite right.'
Whilst someone else added: 'Run small and not comfortable.'
However others are a huge fan of how comfortable the UNO Stand on Air trainers are, with another reviewer writing: 'This style shoe is all I wear and I have many of the colors. Perfect for long standing hours. Started wearing them to relieve plantar faciitis. GREAT SHOE!!'

Joja Siwa just revived an old-school fashion trend with iconic footwear choice
Influencer and Big Brother star Joja Siwa seems to be bringing back a beloved fashion trend as she was spotted wearing this iconic footwear - and we know how to shop Jojo's exact pair Joja Siwa is certainly one for bringing back old-school fashion trends, and this week, she's at it again. Photographed playing tennis with Chris Hughes, Jojo Siwa was seen sporting a pair of Nike high-tops that were all the rage back in the 2010s. But could the iconic footwear be making a comeback? Jojo was wearing the Nike Jordan 1 Retro High '85 in what appears to be the black-and-white colourway, though due to the lighting, she could have been wearing the navy-and-white or indigo-and-white options. And if you're keen to revive the decade-old trend with the exact pair of shoes Jojo opted for, the good news is we've found one place to shop the Nike Jordans in all sizes from UK 4 to 17. Coming in a huge range of shades and combinations, the Nike Jordan 1 Retro high tops are an ode to the original Air Jordan 1s from 1983, emulating the iconic style that's been a firm favourite in footwear collections for decades. Jojo's sneakers have been designed with a luxe leather upper and revolutionary Air-Sole unit inside. They come armed with lightweight cushioning and a premium feel that ensures your feet are comfortable no matter what, whether you're partaking in casual gameplay over a weekend or taking to the court like Michael Jordan himself. This retro version features the same cupsole profile and thick stitch detailing as the original, ensuring you match the age-old trend, with all of the support and durability from a modern-day shoe. The stable and supportive Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is finished with a textile tongue for soft, breathable comfort and a lace-up fastening that keeps your high-tops in place and secure, ready to face all activities. Jojo's Nike high tops are available to buy for £149, though Stock X does allow you to place a bid. Depending on your budget, you may be able to secure your own for less. If you're happy to shop an alternative style high-top, Nike offer these Nike Dunk High Retro in black and white, and they're currently for sale for £71.99. For those looking to ditch the Nike brand, Adidas have a similar look with these Rapid Court Mid High-Top Trainers, which cost £34 at Sports Direct. Skechers also offers a twist on the classic high-top design with these UNO - Stand on Air, which come in a huge selection of 21 shades, including Jojo's preferred black and white. These shoes retail for £80.

Shopper on their feet for 12 hours says discount Skechers slip on sneakers are 'the one'
The summer sale at Skechers includes price reductions on some of its top-selling designs Finding the perfect pair of shoes that offer both comfort and ease of wear is crucial, particularly if you're dealing with pain or mobility issues. Ill-fitting footwear can lead to discomfort in your feet, knees, and back, especially if you spend most of your day on your feet. The right pair should offer support, balance, and sufficient cushioning and impact protection. If you're on the hunt for such a pair, it might be worth checking out Skechers' summer sale, which features price cuts on some of its best-selling styles. One pair currently enjoying a hefty discount is the Skechers Slip-ins Ultra Flex 3.0 Smooth Step, now available with a whopping 30 percent off. Typically priced at £90, they're currently up for grabs for just £62.99, saving you nearly £30 on these comfortable and easy-to-wear trainers. This price rivals other major retailers like Amazon, which is currently selling the trainers for £80.81, making them £20 more expensive than buying directly from the Skechers website. Designed for effortless access, these slip-on trainers are perfect for those who struggle with bending down to tie laces or find it difficult to exert much pressure to slide their foot into shoes. The hands-free design allows you to step into them with minimal effort or strain, reports OK!. To avoid any sliding, these trainers feature a heel cushion that keeps your foot firmly positioned and a stretchy knitted upper that adapts to your foot's movement for enhanced comfort. The Skechers Slip-ins Ultra Flex 3.0 trainers also boast an air-cooled memory foam footbed and a flexible outsole for shock absorption and day-long ease. Whilst Skechers might be pioneering the slip-on trainer market, other brands deserve attention too. Hush Puppies has introduced an attractive offer, slashing its Recycled Good Shoe Bungee Trainers from £65 to merely £25.99. At Sports Direct, Reebok's DMX Slip On 61 has dropped to just £49, down from £69.99, with plenty of larger sizes remaining in stock. For those who struggle with sizing, these adidas Blue Cloudfoam Go Sock Shoes retail at £60 and are available in half sizes from 3.5 to 9. The Skechers Slip-ins Ultra Flex 3.0 also provide an extensive size range from two to eight, including half sizes. They've achieved an outstanding 4.7-star rating, with buyers commending their comfort and appearance. One delighted buyer commented: "Love the design! I'm on my feet for over 12 hours sometimes. I need quality shoes to wear and these ones are it! ! I have no pain in my feet or back when I get off of work. I'm telling all my friends about them!" Another customer concurred: "I am going to have knee surgery and the nurse-coach suggested Skechers shoes because of the rubber soles and ease of wear. She wears them all the time." A third customer dealing with mobility challenges described the Skechers Slip-ins Ultra Flex 3.0 as "perfect", explaining: "I have pain issues - back, knees, feet, everywhere. Bending and putting on shoes in general is an issue. "I've tried a few other "easy hands free shoes" that still required some struggle on my part to put on so even though these were more than I'd normally spend on shoes, I decided to buy try them out based on reviews and Holy Moley, I'm so glad I did. "These are perfect for anyone like me with mobility issues especially with bending and putting on shoes. I had trouble bringing my dog for walks because I legit couldn't put on good shoes to bring him on them, and these I can just easily slip on and go. "I kid you not that it would take me five plus minutes to put on other sneakers and these take me less than five seconds. On top of this, I have wide feet and I have such a hard time finding wide enough shoes and even when I've ordered 'wide' sneakers they haven't been actually wide. "These fit me perfectly. I can wear these with or without socks comfortably. I'm probably going to buy another pair in another colour. I'm now a fan of Skechers for sure." However, not everyone found the Skechers Slip-ins Ultra Flex 3.0 as comfortable, with one buyer warning: "Very high at ankle height, not suitable for swollen ankles." Whilst another chimed in: "I bought a size nine wide width and that is what I received, however, the wide width is not wide at all. Way too narrow of a toe box. "I have narrow feet, but need the wider width to allow toe box spread. These are not a true wide width when ordered that way." Others, however, couldn't get over their comfort, writing: "When I first wore these I was afraid they were too tight in the instep but after wearing just a few times they were perfect. Have never tried slip ins before and they are absolutely amazing. The padding at the heel is a real bonus. For summer shoes they are perfect." Whilst another simply said: "I love these slip in Sketchers. I have them in 4 colors. They are the most comfortable shoes I have."
