"I was coming in here planning to fight disciplined and smart. I was planning on doing it the other two times but it didn't work out like that!
"Thankfully I was able to execute the game plan really well. I have a huge amount of respect for Amanda Serrano. What a warrior! Thank you so much."

The Olympic Federation of Ireland last week named thirty-five athletes who will compete across eight sports in the the EYOF. The EYOF is the largest European multi-sport event for young athletes aged 14-17, typically held every two years. This year it takes place in Skopje, North Macedonia, and will run from July 20–27. The EYOF is a prestigious event that plays an important role in the overall development of athletes, as it mimics the Olympic Games model, preparing athletes for the nuances of performing in a multi-sport environment. This year's event will see forty-eight countries across Europe participate in the event, with over 4,000 athletes competing. Announcing the team, Olympic Federation of Ireland Chef de Mission for the EYOF, Gavin Noble said: 'The EYOF is a key milestone on the Olympic pathway, a chance for athletes to gain invaluable experience in a high-performance, multi-sport environment. This is a competitive and ambitious Team Ireland group, and while many are making their debut, they're ready to step up. We are delighted to include a few new sports to this year's programme, like Basketball 3×3, Table Tennis and Taekwondo, and look forward to supporting the whole team.' The Irish team departs for Skopje on July 18 with competition starting on July 20. GAA PALESTINE are 'outraged' after The Department of Justice failed to process visa applications for Palestinian kids that were due to travel to Ireland on Friday. A two-week tour of Ireland for 33 children aged between nine and 16, along with 14 adults has now been dashed because the West Bank group do not have the necessary documentation to travel. The group have lost a whopping €38,000 on flight tickets due to the fiasco, and GAA Palestine tonight voiced their immense frustration for all concerned. A statement said: 'GAA Palestine is profoundly disappointed and outraged by the Department of Justice's refusal to facilitate our upcoming team trip to Ireland scheduled for 18th July. 'Despite our numerous appeals and attempts to engage, the department has dismissed our concerns and provided an appeals process that guarantees the trip cannot proceed within the timeframe required. 'GAA Palestine is bewildered as to why visas have been refused when all evidence suggests no grounds for rejection.
