Drake Joins Lil Wayne On A New Hit — Though The Song Is A Decade Old

Forbes05-05-2025

Drake is still heavily promoting his latest album, Some Sexy Songs for You, a collaborative project with PartyNextDoor, and the set is living inside the top 10 on every Billboard ranking on which it appears. Multiple singles from the project are also performing very well, especially 'Nokia,' which almost topped the Hot 100 recently.
As if the Canadian superstar didn't have enough music out for fans to enjoy, a tune that was released well over a decade ago has become something of a surprise win in America this week, as Drake joins his mentor and friend Lil Wayne with a new success. A collaboration between the two musicians appears on a pair of Billboard rosters this frame after going viral on TikTok. It debuts on one and returns to another in its best position ever.
"She Will" is not new. It was released as a single from Wayne's album Tha Carter IV, dropping in the summer of 2011. The tune became a proper smash at the time, one of the biggest from Drake's catalog, just a few years into his time as a superstar.
The track climbed to No. 3 on the Hot 100 and also appeared inside the top three on a number of Billboard's genre-specific tallies, including some focused on general consumption and others that look specifically at radio airplay. Now it's back, and it manages to appear on several other rankings.
"She Will" debuts this frame on the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs chart, which ranks the most-played tracks across those genres in the United States on popular platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and others. The Wayne/Drake tune kicks off its time at No. 22, earning the top start of the week. Only one other track, "Whim Whamiee" by Pluto and YKNiece, also manages to start on the list, launching at No. 23.
Between the two musicians, Drake is far and away the more successful on the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs tally. This latest debut marks his two-hundred-and-fifty-seventh placement on the list. That sum includes 125 top 10s, 25 of which have reached No. 1.
Wayne, meanwhile, has placed 44 tracks somewhere on this list — less than half as many top 10s as Drake. He has thus far accrued just four winners.
The Wayne/Drake collaboration also appears on the Rap Streaming Songs chart, but it's not new to that list. Instead, in its twenty-fourth frame somewhere on the much-more-specific tally, it reenters in last place, at No. 15. That's as high as it's ever reached, even though it's currently at the bottom of the ranking.

Joe Flacco talks about 'embarrassing' TikTok dances: 'Be an adult'

Joe Flacco is the elder statesman of the Cleveland Browns quarterback room. Having just turned 40 in January, Flacco has morphed into the "back in my day guy" and is now just one step away from telling the young whippersnappers to get off his lawn. Flacco has embraced that youthful energy in the twilight of his NFL career, taking the opportunity to pose for a fun photo at media day with rookie, Dillon Gabriel. Advertisement Regardless, he continued to provide plenty of entertainment for the media following Wednesday's minicamp practices, turning the session into a chat about social media, TikTok and posting dancing videos online. Flacco began discussing Twitter, now known as X, as it has evolved into a primary source of news. "The difference now is, everybody's getting their stuff from there, and it's treated a little bit more seriously because that is the main news source," Flacco said, via 92.3 The Fan's Daryl Ruiter. "You still have the same thing you always had, which is a million different opinions, but it kind of blends your actual news source with a bunch of other stuff." The quarterback went on to say that Instagram is the only social media platform he's used and made one thing clear –don't expect him to show up in a TikTok dancing video anytime soon. Advertisement "No TikTok dances," Flacco said. "The fact that people want to get on their phones and show people. That's embarrassing! You're an adult. Be an adult. I can't wrap my head around that." He followed up with some advice for the parents. "I get it, you have kids and you wanna have fun with your kids," Flacco added. "Like, have fun with your kids in private." Flacco appears to be no fan of the current social media landscape, but he also extended his media availability to discuss the good old days. While he wasn't walking up and down the rolling hills in 10 feet of snow to school, the quarterback did end up speaking about players who think offseason activities are too hard in the modern NFL. Advertisement "We're out there for an hour 15 minutes and guys think it's hard," Flacco said via Yahoo Sports' Jori Epstein, referencing the two-a-days that used to be commonplace in the NFL. He went on to add that organized team activities (OTAs) used to be over two hours, highlighting just how much has changed since he entered the league in 2008. In other words, Flacco was in a reminiscing mood as the Super Bowl champion prepares for his 18th season in the league. Khaby Lame: World's Biggest TikTok Star Leaves U.S. After Being Detained By ICE

Khaby Lame, the world's most followed TikTok star, has left the U.S. voluntarily after he was briefly detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement for overstaying the terms of his visa, according to reports. The Associated Press reports that Lame, whose real name is Seringe Khabane Lame, was detained on June 6 at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas but was permitted to leave the country without a deportation order. Lame reportedly arrived in the U.S. on April 30, a few days before he attended the Met Gala in New York City. 'Lame entered the United States April 30 and overstayed the terms of his visa.' Officials said that Lame 'has since departed the U.S.' He had been granted a voluntary departure, which saw him avoid a deportation order. Lame, who has more than 162M followers on TikTok, is a Senegalese-Italian TikToker and Unicef goodwill ambassador and is best known for his deadpan reactions to other videos. He first made a name for himself at the end of the pandemic, where his silent TikTok posts saw him make fun of life-hack videos, kicking off with a short film of him peeling a banana with his hands. On Monday morning (June 9), the influencer shared a photo of himself in São Paulo, Brazil. Lame's run-in with ICE comes after President Trump and his administration called for the National Guard to be deployed against anti-ICE protests on the streets of L.A. this week. Nearly 5,000 troops have since descended on the city. California Governor Gavin Newsom made a speech on Wednesday condemning the move where he criticized the 'brazen abuse of power by a sitting president' which he said, 'inflamed a combustible situation, putting our people, our officers and even our National Guard at risk.'
