Classic Ford Sierra Cosworth stolen from near Newport
Gwent Police have now renewed their appeal for information about the theft.
The first man, who identified himself as Ryan Marsh on social media, is described as white, in his 40s, around 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build, with short dark brown hair.
The second man is described as white, in his 50s, around 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build, and bald.
He did not provide his name to the victim.
Both men are believed to be from the Preston or Manchester areas.
A police spokesperson said: "If you recognise them, contact us via our website, call us on 101 or send us a direct message on Facebook or X, quoting log reference 2400121243.
"You can also call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111 with information or online."

Man charged after 'cannabis worth up to £102k' recovered in Alexandria
Cops attended a property on Baird Crescent at around 2.30pm on Tuesday, August 19. Police say they recovered a cannabis cultivation of around 170 plants with an estimated street value of between £42,500 and £102,000. A 33-year-old man has since been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery. He is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Wednesday, August 20. John Dysart warned he faces jail after reign of terror resulted in domestic pets being ripped apart by dogs. Pet owners in Alloa warned to keep their cats indoors after a spate of killings A sadistic brute who filmed his dogs ripping apart cats and badgers is facing jail after admitting his heinous crimes. John Dysart trained dogs to 'kill anything that moved' and his crimes horrified all pet owners in the town of Alloa - where puppies and cats were kept indoors in case they were targeted. The musclebound bully was due to be tried at Alloa Sheriff Court but changed his plea at the last minute to guilty for several charges, which revealed the perverse bloodlust. Dysart was brought to justice after a video circulated in Alloa of two dogs ripping a domestic cat to pieces, with locals recognising the dogs as belonging to him. A subsequent raid on Dysart's home `by the SSPCA's Special Investigations Unit, who were tipped off, led to his mobile phone being seized. SIU investigators then found a horror showcase of photos and videos of Dysart's animals killing domestic pets and wild animals. One source said: 'John Dysart is notorious in Alloa for being a thug and a bully. Anyone who owns a wee dog or cat will be breathing a sigh of relief because he looks like being taken out of commission for a while. 'There was a point when people were scared to let their pets get out of their sight in case Dysart's dogs got them and they ended up in a horror video. They killed anything that moved. 'What he did would turn anyone's stomach.' When Dysart, 31, was confronted on social media about the cat murders online he told furious locals that his dogs were impossible to control once the scent of an animal they could kill. The source said: 'The fact is that he trained the dogs to be like that and he made videos that prove he was taking pleasure from seeing pet cats and other animals literally being torn apart by dogs.' Dysart had taken a large bag to his court appearance in the knowledge that a jail term is the only likely outcome for him at a sentencing next month. He admitted that, between February 2022 and March 2024, at 23 Whins Road, Alloa, to keeping three lurcher dogs for animal fights. Dysart also admitted setting his dogs upon cats, allowing them to bite, pull and attack them, killing them. The sadist, who was fully equipped with lamps, spades and other badger baiting equipment, also pled guilty to setting the dogs on a badger, killing or injuring the terrified wild animal. Dysart admitted top glorifying his killing sessions by making videos and publishing them online, where he shared them with other 'urban hunter' sadists. He was also convicted of owning equipment designed or adapted for use at an animal fight, namely high powered lamps, mobile telephones, shovels, a fork, snares and camouflage clothing. On Facebook, Dysart was named and shamed on the Clackmannanshire Lost and Found Animals page, where he was condemned as a 'pathetic excuse of a human being'. The site moderator posted: 'There is a video that he has taken of his two dogs mauling an innocent cat to death. 'That poor cat had no chance and it's not the first time this pathetic excuse of a human being has done this. 'So I'm advising anyone in Alloa that has a cat to keep them inside until this animal abuser is put behind bars.' Ahead of sentencing next month, Sheriff Neil Bowie will watch some of the distressing videos that formed the case of the SSPCA's SIU. A spokesperson for the SSPCA said: 'We welcome these guilty pleas in this deeply distressing case of animal cruelty. 'John Dysart has been remanded in custody and the sheriff made clear that a custodial sentence should be expected. 'This case features some of the most horrific cruelty and we are relieved that justice has been served. 'We hope the court applies the full extent of sentencing available, in recognition of the suffering caused.' The spokesperson added: 'Our priority remains the welfare of animals across Scotland and we will continue to do all we can to bring those who hurt them before the courts.'
