BEN ASKREN is recovering in a Wisconsin hospital following his hospitalisation.
The former UFC welterweight was hospitalised last week after coming down with a severe case of pneumonia, which was brought on by a staph infection.

Askren was in a critical condition and "unresponsive" in a Vegas hospital, according to his wife Amy.
But according to the 40-year-old's good friend, Daniel Cormier, he's now been moved to a different hospital.
The former two-division UFC champion said of his podcast host: 'Ben Askren, our good friend from 'Funky and the Champ', is having a hard time.
'That night that we did the last episode of 'Funky and the Champ', Ben was complaining about some issues.
"He had some infections. He had a really tough time when he went to that convention in Vegas, he was stuck there for a while.
'I wanna report to you guys that he's now back home in Wisconsin. He's with his family, his beautiful wife, Amy.
'Everybody is just kind of praying that Ben gets better and we can start moving forward with life for Ben.
'It's so sad. I don't know how things like this happen to someone who is so good because Ben Askren is a good guy.

Cormier's update came just hours after Amy was forced to deny swirling social media rumours that her husband had passed away.
She told TMZ her other half is "definitely still fighting".
Askren retired from mixed martial arts in November 2019 after going 1-2 in his three fights in the promotion.
But he briefly ended his combat sports retirement in April 2021 for a lucrative boxing match against Jake Paul, which he lost via first-round KO.

Describing them on the website, Primark bosses say: "Drift off in laid-back comfort with this printed boyfriend pyjama set, designed for those who love their sleepwear relaxed and playful. "Made in a soft pastel blue, this two-piece set includes a long-sleeved button-down top with a collar and matching straight-leg bottoms—both featuring an all-over cute, colourful print that brings a little fun to bedtime. "The shirt's relaxed fit gives that end-of day relaxed feel while the elasticated waistband on the trousers ensures a comfy, adjustable fit. "Whether you're lounging on lazy mornings or winding down at night, this set is all about cosy vibes with a cheeky twist." But as with all viral products, the £15 sleepwear has proved difficult to get your hands on. Stores have sold out quickly and limited sizes are available on click and collect. So fans of the new pyjamas have been left fuming after spotting greedy resellers listing them for up to £30 on Vinted. Moment Primark worker yanks shopper's HAIR out amid screams of 'I'm going to kill you' in row over return One person fumed on TikTok: "Are you guys being f***ing serious? People are literally going to Primark, buying these pyjamas and then sticking them on Vinted. "And the worst part is that [the listings] have [lots of likes]. The people are actually so desperate for these pyjamas that they're favouriting them and potentially going to buy from people who are literally scamming them. "If you scroll [on Vinted] there's just endless listings. It's just greed. "You'll never catch me going into Primark and buying 50 pairs of pyjamas to resell on Vinted for double the price." Someone else cried: "People ruin everything. Just let us get a nice cheap pair of pjs!!!" "I want them SOOO badly but £30 on vinted is AWFULLL", chimed in a third. A fourth raged: "Sheer greed, if anyone pays it and postage their heads are gone lol." Meanwhile, a fifth wrote: "Sadly ppl have bought in bulk and reselling for £30 and so many couldn't buy them which is so sad." There is no rule against members selling viral items on Vinted for profit. However, the online marketplace has strict guidelines which state that commercial selling is only allowed for 'Pro sellers'. To sell using a Vinted Pro account, you need to be registered as a business. Sole traders, non-profit organisations, and companies are eligible to sign up for free. Vinted adds: "Otherwise, we may have to hide or remove listings and ban accounts if we detect commercial activity from standard Vinted members."

It also emerged this wonder is having an impact on their parents, with 62 per cent, of the 600 mums and dads also polled, crediting their youngster for making them appreciate the magic of the everyday things in their environment. In fact, 55 per cent of parents are more likely to notice and be amazed by these daily wonders because their child is. As part of Specsavers' 'Wonder' campaign, alongside commissioning this research, museum-style exhibitions have launched across the UK showcasing children's 'wonders of the world' to get parents thinking about the importance of children's eye health and its impact on their joy and curiosity. Each installation in London, Manchester, Belfast, Edinburgh and Cardiff features a different 'wonder' selected by five local children, alongside their very own plaque. This includes Yusuf's Digger, Aoife's Caterpillar, Ava's Sunflower, Ffion's Rock, and Mila's Seashell. Professor Sam Wass, child psychologist and neuroscientist, said: "Children see the world in a way adults often forget - full of magic, mystery and wonder. "Good vision is essential to this journey of discovery. "It helps children explore, ask questions and learn through play, all of which are essential to their development." And kids said they're most likely spot everyday amazing things at the beach (68 per cent), in the garden (63 per cent), or at their local park (50 per cent). But 35 per cent will even find something interesting to inspect on the way to school, according to the figures. Nearly seven in 10 (68 per cent) parents said their children often stop to look at things most would consider everyday - on average, five times-a-day. Common phenomena they observe their children stopping to watch and wonder at included birds on a wire (26 per cent), reflections in water (20 per cent), and slug and snail trails (16 per cent). More than a quarter (26 per cent) even report often being late every few days because their child is too busy being fascinated by an object. Perhaps as a result, over half (56 per cent) have been encouraged to slow down and look more closely at the world around them. Which may help the 39 per cent who admitted they very much take their ability to see clearly for granted. A further 66 per cent would be concerned if their little one stopped pointing out these everyday wonders. As 19 per cent also said this would be among the reasons they'd book an eye test for their child, as well as if they were struggling to read or write (45 per cent) or rubbing their eyes frequently (44 per cent). Sarah Joyce, director of optometry at Specsavers, added: "Being able to see clearly is vital to children as they learn about the world - as around 80 per cent of learning in school is visual. "But around one in five children under the age of 10 have sight conditions that can get in the way of all that wonder. "Conditions such as long- or short-sightedness, astigmatism, or a squint can often be treated more effectively if they are picked up early - meaning regular eye tests from the age of four, or sooner if they are having any problems, are essential. "The great news is, for children under 16, the NHS will cover the full cost of the eye test."
