It's official: Jr NTR, not Allu Arjun, to star in Trivikram's film
Producer Naga Vamsi confirmed that the upcoming movie from director Trivikram Srinivas will star Jr NTR in the lead. Reports say Allu Arjun was initially chosen to play the lead in the movie. Vamsi added that Trivikram is also working with seasoned actor Venkatesh. 'Trivikram garu's next two projects are locked with @VenkyMama sir and @tarak9999 anna. Everything else is mere speculation. The Trivikram project is touted to be a mythological film. Naga Vamsi shared a cryptic post, hinting the genre of the movie. 'My most favourite anna as one of the most powerful gods. God of war is coming,' Vamsi had posted on X. Trivikram and Jr NTR had previously collaborated for Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava (2018). As per a report in India Today, an assistant cameraperson and a few other crew members sustained injuries. The film stars Nikhil Siddhartha in the lead role and is being directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna. It is unclear if the actor and director were present on the set at the time of the accident. In a chat with Behindwoods TV, Shankar said in Tamil, 'No filmmaker is ever satisfied with their film. I definitely feel like the film could have done better. There were so many good scenes, but they were trimmed, due to which we missed a lot of good things. I can't put every scene in a three-hour film.' He added, 'The total duration of the film had gone up to five hours. It was like carving a statue. If you want to carve a good statue, it is better if it is made of stone.'
