One five-star review read: "I bought these trousers for my granddaughter. She loves them as they're stylish and really flattering. Other reviews said they come up too big but we found the size was just right."
A second delighted New Look shopper said: "Super comfy and cool lovely fit and material got three pairs loved them that much."
Someone else remarked: "Fabulous fit and length, I'm size 16 and 170cm tall and these trousers are super comfortable! Fabric is fantastic quality and colour is very vibrant, absolutely love them!"
Fashion deal of the week
Fashion fans looking for a dress that will standout at all their summer events will need to hear about this one from Roman.
The high street chain's Royal Blue Rose Print Button Detail Maxi Dress, hailed as "perfect for the warmer seasons", is now on sale for £35 after being dropped from £48 - saving 27 percent overall.
With its "stunning" all-over rose print and modest midaxi length hemline, this particular frock will look perfect at any fancy occasions this season. Since it offers a bold design, we'd advise pairing it with nude-coloured heels and neutral accessories.
The flowy, comfortable woven fabric and short sleeves make it an ideal airy choice for when the temperatures rise again. It also features a chic V-neckline, alongside a shirred waistline that will 'cinch' in the figure for a flattering effect.
Complete with buttons down the front, the high street firm also advises pairing its £35 sale dress with a denim jacket on those summer days when the weather is a little bit chillier.
Beloved for its vibrant and bold style, one five-star review read: "One of the five-star reviews read: "This dress is amazing. I've had so many compliments.
"Lovely Silky material, floor length and such vibrant colours and so easy to just wash and wear. Suitable for weddings and occasions or just perfect for holidays and summer days. A real head turner... Love it."
Someone else added: "Another pleased purchaser wrote: "Just love this dress, lovely colours, beautiful material, perfect for my upcoming holiday."
Roman's Royal Blue Rose Print Button Detail Maxi Dress is just £35 in the sale now.
A small amount of customers have criticised the length of the trousers, with some finding that they are either too small or too long, depending on their height.
One shopper with this issue wrote in a three-star review read: "Lovely trousers, only problem they about 2ft to long and mega wide, no good for my height."
However, there wasn't a lot of criticism for the trousers, as another delighted shopper said: "Light weight material and true to size. Elasticated waist is comfortable."
New Look's Linen Blend Drawstring Waist Trousers can be bought for £26.99 online and in store now.

The M&S Beauty Bag 2025 products ranked from best to worst
There's four full-sized goodies and seven travel-sized minis, which I have ranked, from best to worst - or really, my favourites to least favourites. It was a tricky task, as they were all pretty good. Top of the list is the Estee Lauder Double Wear Zero-Smudge Lengthening Mascara. Who doesn't need a new black mascara for their holiday, or just to get through the summer? It's a great product and one I'd happily buy again. The This Works Body Smoothing wash is another real treat, and I loved its scent of geranium and orange. Smoothed on before the shower, it's a shortcut to silky-soft skin and a great way to start the day. @uktoday_ @what's inside the M&S beauty bag for summer 2025? It's on sale now, with £210 worth of products for £35. ♬ Inspirational - neozilla While sometimes the mini products in beauty bags and boxes can feel a bit sad, the mini Tangle Teaser is the perfect size for a handbag, and has already made its home in mine. I loved the two new perfumes - both light and summery - and the Ren Evercalm Barrier Support Advanced SPF50 and Estee Lauder power creme are perfect for layering under holiday make-up. The Arkive Good Habit Hybrid Oil, Dr PawPaw Original Balm and Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray are all good introductions to their brands, although probably wouldn't be products I'd necessarily choose - and that's the great thing about beauty bags and boxes - there's something for everyone. (Image: M&S) Is it worth buying the M&S Beauty Bag 2025? Yes, I'd say so. I wouldn't pay £210 for it, but I'd happily pay £35. The only disappointment for me was the Bloom and Blossom body lotion - one of the biggest items by volume. Sitting alongside the fabulous fragrances, it didn't smell summery. In fact, it didn't smell much of anything at all, and wasn't as softening as I'd hoped. Body lotions have to be really special to be worth the effort, and I'm not sure this one is. Also, I did miss there being a Nuxe or L'Occitane treat, as those have been my favourites in previous bags and boxes, but it's always good to ring the changes. The M&S Beauty Bag 2025 - what's inside? This year, the brand has gone all out with a selection of cult classic buys - here's my pick, from best to worst: Estee Lauder Double Wear Zero-Smudge Lengthening Mascara, 6ml This Works Perfect Body Smoothing Wash, 200ml Tangle Teezer Original Mini Paradise Green Brush M&S Discover Sweet Frangipani, 30ml Floral Street Electric Rhubarb Fragrance, 10ml Estee Lauder Revitalising Supreme+ Youth Power Crème, 15ml Ren Evercalm Barrier Support Advanced SPF50, 25ml Arkive The Good Habit Hybrid Oil, 50ml Dr PawPaw Original Balm, 10ml Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray, 50ml Bloom & Blossom Mission Moisture Nourishing Body Cream, 200ml Recommended reading: It's perfect for anyone who wants to sample some new brands or stock up on minis for travel. The Beauty Bag 2025 is on sale now but stocks are limited - so be quick. Following its cyber attack last month, M&S paused online orders, but they have now started online orders again and stores are open.

Primark's 'game changing' £3 beauty buy gives a sun-kissed glow 'in seconds'
Beauty buffs have been flocking to buy this affordable bronzing stick that highlights, sculpts and defines. A cream bronzer is a summer makeup essential. Not only can it give that golden, sun-kissed glow, but it can also be used as a subtle contouring tool. For the beauty buffs who maybe don't want spend too much money on a luxury brand, Primark has entered the game with its very own PS... Crème Bronzer Stick that does everything from sculpting to highlighting. Retailing at an affordable £3 on the fashion chain's website, this "creamy, blendable" bronzing stick comes in a handy tube that can be conveniently popped into a handbag for any quick touch-ups on the go. Already hailed as a "game changer" by beauty enthusiasts on Instagram, this new summer makeup bag go-to is available to buy in three shades - coco, caramel and truffle. Made with skin loving castor seed oil and shea butter, it can easily create a sun-kissed, just been on holiday glow. Or, when swiped across the high points of the face such as the brow and cheekbones, it can be used to create a contouring effect. Dedicated fans will not be surprised to hear that Primark's latest beauty buy is a must-have, considering the retailer's assortment of cosmetics and skincare has significantly increased over the years, with many of them said to be 'dupes' for high end brands. Speaking of its affordable Crème Bronzer Stick, the fast-fashion giant recently shared a tutorial on how to use it on Instagram, captioning the reel: "Sun-kissed in seconds." Meanwhile, in another post shared to its official Beauty Instagram account, which currently boasts 812,000 followers, many shoppers were quick to rave over the bronzer as "the best" on the market. One delighted shopper wrote: "These are a game changer!" A second beauty fan said: "I don't stop raving about this." Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Another enthusiastic shopper added: "These are a game changer!" While another Instagram user commented: "Oh my god these look insane!!" And someone else said: "THE BEST CREME BRONZER EVER" Since Primark's website doesn't offer official reviews, we have not noticed any negative feedback for the bronzing sticks. However, we would advise that, since they come in just three shades, they may not be suitable for all skin tones. If this is the case, then there are a few alternatives on the market that offer a vast selection of shades. One is the Fenty Beauty Match Stix Contour Skinstick, available in nine shades, that is available on Lookfantastic for £18.75, down from £25. Meanwhile, over at SpaceNK, the Rare Beauty Warm Wishes Effortless Bronzer Stick, which usually comes in eight shades, is available to buy £21.60, down from £27 - saving 20 percent off the RRP. Shoppers can update their summer makeup with the PS... Crème Bronzer Stick for £3 from Primark now.

Hottest fashion trends of 2025 Fabulous' Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend shares the biggest trends from the high street. The East/West Bag Baguette bags have had a good run, after returning from the 1990s' shoulders of Sarah Jessica Parker to modern-day fashion icons, like Hailey Bieber. In 2025, the East/West bag is a similar but elongated shape and has long, thin straps that are easy to throw over your shoulder. They've been on runway models' arms at nearly ever designer show - think Burberry, Givenchy and Bottega Veneta - and are hitting the high street now, too. Powder pink Bright fuchsia pink had its day after the release of Barbie in 2023 and now the more polished and expensive-looking pale shade is taking over for 2025. Pantone may say that it's the year of Mocha Mousse, but the catwalks say otherwise! From Prada to Erdem, the subtle look was all over the spring/summer catwalks, worn head-to-toe or on its own. If the sugary shade is too girly for you, then look to sharp suiting for a androgynous take on the colour. The shell jacket The '80s classic is back, but with a sleek and minimal new twist for 2025. We all know we're likely to see rain for most of spring, so your practical coat of choice should be a cagoule jacket. Depop revealed one of its big trend predictions for this year is retro sportswear, with surges already seen in '80s windbreakers'. Seen everywhere from the stylish streets of Copenhagen to the Miu Miu catwalk, now mums who have an emergency raincoat crumpled underneath their pushchair are very much in fashion! The turn-up jeans While the shape of jeans remains the same for this year and barrel-legs will still be everywhere, the way we're styling them is different. This season, transform your wide-leg, baggy denims into turn-ups. For this look, size doesn't matter, so while deep turn-ups are a hit from jean trend-leaders Citizens of Humanity, a slight fold is still just as good - but only as it's just one single fold. Peep-toe shoe Get your pedicures booked in sharpish, as this season your toes are the main event. After a long hiatus, the peep-toe has been welcomed back into the fashion fold, with brands like Hermes, Miu Miu and Tory Burch showing plain and embellished footwear in this style. From mules to pumps and clogs (yes, clogs will be around too!), there are lots of different styles that are set to sweep the high street. Sheer blouses See-through looks have always lived on the catwalk, but have rarely filtered into everyday life - until now. Designers Ralph Lauren and Tom Ford loved sheer looks on their S/S '25 catwalks and M&S even had sellout success with its black sheer pencil skirt last season. Expect to see more sheer looks lining supermarket aisles and high street shops in the form of skirts, tops and frocks. "I love the fresh green colour option." A second person said: "Perfect for those warm sunny holiday vibes "Great price and quality." A third added: "Very comfortable and lovely colour. "Good price and they're easy to wear due to the elasticated waist."
