Brad Pitt on His New Style Change: ‘I Just Feel Like We've Gotta Have Fun'

Yahoo3 hours ago

Ahead of Brad Pitt's upcoming film F1: The Movie, the Hollywood star was spotted frequently with his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon. While the duo made plenty of headlines, the 61-year-old actor also drew attention for the major changes to his style.
Pitt was spotted wearing some unique and, honestly, pretty fun attire at various points in recent weeks. This includes what looked like a blue velvet oversized jacket with baggy jeans, and also a tie-dye outfit, among other looks.
Regardless of how people felt about Pitt's new look, he stuck with it while publicly donning the stylistic change, to his credit.
During the New York City-based premiere of F1: The Movie, GQ's Sasha Faith Mutchnik asked Pitt about his new looks, and perfectly referenced it as the actor getting back to his Fight Club "Tyler Durden-era" a bit.
Pitt smiled while addressing the looks and candidly responded on the topic.
"I just feel like, we've gotta have fun, let's have fun," Pitt said. "There's so much turmoil in the world. Let's have fun when we can."
It was a great response from Pitt, and a few of his looks can be seen in the video posted by GQ below.
Fans loved Pitt's answer, and specifically referenced the Fight Club aspect of the question as well.
"Fight club rules," said one fan.
'There's so much turmoil in the world. Let's have fun when we can. Well said BP," added another.
"He is having fun with fashion, and I am enjoying it," replied another fan.
"Tyler Durden era," responded another with the raising hands emoji.
While the unique outfits had fans' attention recently, Pitt's response to them is hard not to respect.
Pitt and fellow co-star Damson Idris star in the upcoming F1: The Movie, which officially premieres on June 27.Brad Pitt on His New Style Change: 'I Just Feel Like We've Gotta Have Fun' first appeared on Men's Journal on Jun 20, 2025

Netflix's New K-Pop Movie Hits No. 1 As Its Music Surges In Popularity

KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack hits No. 1 on iTunes as the Netflix film propels multiple songs and ... More fictional group HUNTRX onto the U.S. charts. LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - JUNE 16: May Hong attends the KPop Demon Hunters Special Screening at Netflix Tudum Theater on June 16, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo byfor Netflix) Getty Images for Netflix K-pop has become such a massive global phenomenon that it is fueling not just music consumption, but all forms of media and entertainment. The mere use of the phrase "K-pop" can elevate a TV series, film, or book into becoming a top performer. With such a massive fanbase of people interested in the style, it seems like there's no limit to what K-pop can do. Netflix is capitalizing on the continued popularity of the musical style with the release of its latest animated musical film KPop Demon Hunters . Just days after its debut, the title's music is already climbing the iTunes charts, as the movie has apparently made quite the impression. Released on Friday (June 20), KPop Demon Hunters centers on a fictional K-pop girl group called HUNTRX. The conceit imagines the three members of the globally beloved act as part-time demon fighters, battling evil in between sold-out concerts and hit records – and the villains just happen to also be K-pop superstars. The film currently ranks as the second biggest movie in the United States on Netflix, while the music from the full-length effort is proving to be equally as successful. The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack surges to No. 1 on the iTunes Top Albums chart in America. The full-length is credited to HUNTRX, Saja Boys and, more generally, the cast of the movie. The album unseated American Heart by Benson Boone to claim the top spot on the iTunes ranking. Boone is on track to secure a strong debut on the Billboard rankings in the coming days, as his sophomore release quickly shot to No. 1 on the sales platform upon its release at the same time as KPop Demon Hunters , but after a few days, the two have swapped spots. Eight songs from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack are currently charting on the iTunes Top Songs tally in the U.S. Each tune is credited to the KPop Demon Hunters cast, and some also name other performers, such as Ejea, Audrey Nuna, Rei Ami, Andrew Choi, Neckwav, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo and others. 'What It Sounds Like' is the highest-ranking composition from the album at the time of writing, leaping nearly two dozen spaces to land at No. 19. Also featured within the top 40 are 'Golden,' 'Your Idol' and 'How It's Done,' which settle at Nos. 28, 32, and 35, respectively. A number of other tracks from the collection also find space on the 200-position roster, including one credited solely to members of Twice, Jeongyeon, Jihyo and Chaeyoung. Two takes of the group's previously-released 'Takedown' appear on the soundtrack, and both are currently bestsellers in America.

Senators urge FTC to investigate Spotify's higher-priced bundled subscription

Two U.S. senators have requested that the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) investigate Spotify due to allegations that the company bundled its music streaming and audiobook services into a more expensive subscription without obtaining user consent, while also reducing royalty payments to creators in the process. On Friday, June 20, U.S. Senators Marsha Blackburn and Ben Ray Luján wrote a letter to the FTC, claiming that Spotify converted standard premium subscriptions into higher-cost bundled subscriptions without informing consumers. They also highlighted that existing U.S. regulations permit digital music providers to pay a reduced music royalty rate if the subscription is bundled with other legitimate offerings. 'Spotify's intent seems clear—to slash the statutory royalties it pays to songwriters and music publishers. Not only has this harmed our creative community, but this action has also harmed consumers,' the letter states. Last year, the Mechanical Licensing Collective (MLC) sued Spotify for allegedly undercompensating songwriters and publishers, but the lawsuit was dismissed in January. In March 2024, Spotify restructured its Premium tiers to include 15 hours of audiobooks, raising the price to $12 for individuals and $20 for families. Users have to manually opt out of the plan. This change has reportedly caused publishers to lose $230 million in the first year, according to Danielle Aguirre, executive vice president of the National Music Publishers' Association. In a statement shared with Variety, a Spotify spokesperson noted that users were notified a month in advance about the price increase and the platform offers 'easy cancellations as well as multiple plans for users to consider.'
