SHE'S previously used benefits to buy a horse, a boob job and a vagina designer.
But Marie Buchan, dubbed 'Britain's Benefits Queen', insists she is 'too old' to work at the age of 43.

The mum-of-eight shared how she was 'dragged' to a job centre to find work as part of the TV series Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over.
The single mum invited the TV host into her four-bed housing association property in Selly Oak, near Birmingham.
Stacey Dooley spent two nights with Marie, who received £1,000 for filming, and helped her reluctantly sign up to a temping agency to find a carer's job.
Although she went through with the application, Marie admitted that it's 'less stressful to claim benefits.'
The 'benefits queen', who has kids aged 11 to 23, has seven children still living under her roof.
During filming, Stacey, 38, slept on a blow-up mattress in the living room, and brought her own bedding to use and showered in a pre-booked Airbnb.
The pair bonded over their love for horse riding and did it together on the show, as well as having a hair and nail pampering session.
Speaking to FEMAIL, Marie shared: 'Stace did take me to task over not having a job and kept saying I had to look for work, and she was trying to be encouraging.
'I've done care work in the past and she thought I might want to do it again, but now I'm now 43 I think I'm getting too old to work.
'It is easier and less stressful to claim benefits which I still do and I am entitled to! The form was there in front of me, Stace was trying to support me, but was staring at me and I didn't know what to do.
Octomum Marie Buchan sparks outrage after revealing plans to spend her benefits money on a HORSE
'I kept thinking, 'do I really want a job?', but felt I owed it to Stace so, damn it, I signed the form saying I was available for care work.'
Marie said although she had applied for the jobs three weeks ago, she hasn't yet heard anything back from the employment agency.
She added that she has her 'issues and insecurities' but 'encouraging' Stacey helped her build up her confidence.
The single mum said she had been approached by producers to do the Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over show, and although she wasn't sure at first, she thought it could be a good way for people to 'get to know the real me.'

She added: 'There would be a fee paid which is always good to hear! I'm a much better person than the press make out so I said, 'what have I got to lose?.'
'The questions fired at me were quite intense. It was an emotional rollercoaster.
'I have no job and claim loads of benefits I am entitled to but people judge me and I have had so much negative press.'

Marie, who volunteers at a food bank two Saturdays a month, said she is tempted to 'splash' the £1,000 participation fee on herself, but will 'probably' buy a new cooker instead.
The single mum has been in the system for over 23 years and has received around £500,000 in government handouts.
In 2018 she caused widespread outrage after travelling to Turkey to get a £1,500 boob job, going from a 34A cup to a 34D.
PUBLIC FURY

While she insists she paid for the treatment with money raised from car boot sales, it's likely that the goods she sold would have been bought using taxpayer cash in the first place.
The following year, she hit the headlines again when it was revealed she jetted abroad for laser treatment to achieve a 'designer vagina' — again insisting she had paid for it with her car boot loot.
'I did fly abroad to get the surgery, but it's something I've come to regret,' she confesses.
'It was all a very big mistake and it's embarrassing for my kids.'
Marie triggered public fury yet again when she decided to buy a horse with her benefits.

'I just wanted to buy myself something nice and I had been saving my money. It had always been my dream to own one,' she admits.
'I paid £600 upfront for the horse and then had to pay an additional £100 a month to keep him at the yard. Food was around £25 a month.'
Looking back, Marie says she can understand why people were outraged.
'It was a big mistake. I was rubbing it in people's faces and I was showing off and I really regret that,' she says.
'He's now gone because I couldn't afford to keep him. Maybe if I go back to work I could buy another one.'
TOUGH CHILDHOOD

Despite her frequent Government-funded splurges, Marie hasn't always led such a charmed life.
'Growing up, my parents weren't wealthy. My dad was a window cleaner and my mum's disabled, so she got disability benefits,' she says.
'We were a big family – my nan had 14 children. We didn't have a lot, but we got by.'
I have no job and claim loads of benefits I am entitled to but people judge me and I have had so much negative press

At the age of 19, Marie welcomed her eldest daughter Tia, and first entered the welfare system.
'I was in and out of work at the time as a carer. I'd come off benefits, have another child be back on benefits,' she says.
'It was a bit of a rollercoaster, so in the end I made the decision to stay on benefits as it gave me the time to bring up my children.'
Many hard-working parents make the heartbreaking decision not to expand their brood due to cash constraints.

Marie always wanted a large family to 'look after her'

But for Marie, having more kids has never been a concern.
'I'd always wanted a big family in the hope they would look after me when I was old and grey,' she says.
'I never thought about the financial impact of having eight children because it is just so easy to get help from the government.
'They even give you the form at the hospital to claim your child tax credit. They make it too easy.'
Marie famously became a target for criticism when she appeared on This Morning in 2015 and claimed the proposed £23,000 a year benefit cap would leave her short.
'I was on £26,000 at the time, meaning I only had £500 a week to survive on,' she says.
BIG BILLS

'We are a big family, so half of it would go on our food shop alone.
'We also had the rent, the council tax and bills to worry about. The council only paid £45 per week towards rent and £16 per week towards council tax.'
In her 23 years of claiming benefits, Marie's annual income has fluctuated between £26,000 and £37,000.
And while she admits she feels guilty for taking taxpayers' money, she argues there is no incentive to work.
'I believe we are better off on benefits, because we get help in every area of our lives, whether that's the rent, bringing up the kids, or bills,' she says.
'You can access food banks or fuel vouchers. There's a lot of help out there.
"I've completed six college courses on mechanics and social work, but I'm still sitting here claiming my benefits. I've done nothing with them.
'It's very easy to sit in the system for the rest of your life.'

I'm a stay-at-home mum to two girls on benefits, now I'm begging people to help me pay my rent, there's no shame in it

Read on to see how strangers help the mum make rent NOT KIDDING I'm a stay-at-home mum to two girls on benefits, now I'm begging people to help me pay my rent, there's no shame in it Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A MUM has taken to social media to ask strangers to pay her rent. Sherene Cyrus, from the UK, is a stay-at-home mum of two girls and while she does receive Universal Credit, she still needs help paying rent. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 Sherene revealed she was unable to pay her rent as UC hadn't paid her Credit: TikTok/shercyrusx 2 Sherene went on to ask strangers online to help her out Credit: TikTok/shercyrusx In a recent clip posted to social media, she said: "To be known as the girl that can't pay her rent is actually quite embarrassing. "But then equally I'm doing it for my girls." Since asking people to help fund her rent, Sherene has gained 25,000 followers on TikTok to help her make cash from the app. So far, she revealed she had made £75 so far and hopes to make more in the future. She added: "I'm just a stay-at-home mum trying to make it happen. "I do plan on getting a part-time job when they're both in full-time school, but as of yet, I'm not able to do so because I just don't have a village." The mum, who was in the middle of using TikTok to create income, said she made too much money on the app last month, which meant she didn't get a universal credit payment that left her behind on rent. She went on to ask people to follow and engage with her videos to help boost her money in a recent clip. Creators on TikTok can make money through TikTok's creator fund. TikTok bosses say: "The funds that each creator can earn are worked out by a combination of factors - including the number of views and the authenticity of those views, the level of engagement on the content, as well as making sure content is in line with our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. No two creators or videos are the same, and there is no limit to the different kinds of content we will support with the fund. "The Creator Fund total varies daily and is dependent on the amount of videos published by our community that day - so this will fluctuate based on the amount of content being published." Sherene's clip went viral on her TikTok account @shercyrusx with over 122k views. Plenty of people took to comments to help support her and get rent paid. One person wrote: "Commenting so you get paid girly." Another commented: "Don't be embarrassed! Life sucks and brings us unpredictable circumstances!" "Get that money," penned a third. Meanwhile a fourth said: "Girl, you're on your way to paying your rent for the rest of the year." "Good luck and well done for trying your best,' claimed a fifth. Someone else added: "Go girl, always here to support."

‘Everything, I'm telling you' – Micah Richards convinced SNAPCHAT risks derailing Fulham's Premier League season

Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker had plenty to say in response Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) MICAH RICHARDS believes Fulham will struggle this season after the club banned players from using SNAPCHAT. Richards left Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer stunned as he predicted that the social media outlet could be the downfall of Marco Silva's side in the new campaign. Fans were left loving the brilliant banter between their Craven Cottage icons. The regular Snapchat posts also gave a glimpse into the players' lives at the London club's training ground and stadium. But Alex Iwobi revealed in July that he and his Fulham teammates had been banned from further Snapchat posts by a member of staff. He told followers: 'For those that are wondering why I haven't been snapping BTS (behind-the-scenes) in the changing room, one person in the media team has been saying I haven't been catching the right stuff. 'So, there's no more BTS. They also said I might get fined if I continue to do so, they're trying to ban snap in our changing room. 'That's why I ain't been snapping BTS, it's a shame, I know you guys enjoy seeing what my team-mates are like behind the scenes. But, I have to respect the rules.' Now, former Man City title winner Richards reckons that Fulham's Snapchat clampdown could come back to bite the club. BEST FREE BETS AND BETTING SIGN UP OFFERS Silva's side have only made one signing in back-up goalie Benjamin Lecomte, while two attackers have departed in Willian and Carlos Vinicius. But Richards believes the inability to post on social media will have a worse effect on morale than the lack of new arrivals. Fulham star Calvin Bassey shows Arsenal fans his bum at worst time possible Speaking on The Rest is Football podcast, Richards' fellow presenter Shearer first said: 'I don't see Fulham doing as well as they did last year. 'I've got them sixth-bottom, I think they'll have too much to have them in a relegation battle but just below last season.' Richards then noted: 'I agree. And their media person has stopped them using Snapchat, where you used to get all the insight, the videos and stuff. Great for chemistry.' This left Shearer amused as he responded: 'Excuse me, what the f**k has that got to do with the prediction, by the way?!' Richards continued: 'Everything, I'm telling you. You can't do the videos no more, you go in there, it's going to be silent, there's going to be no banter flying, so it could affect them. 'So I'm going to say they're going to be just below what they did last season.' Shearer gasped: 'No Snapchat, so they're going to be just below last season! That's the reason!' Host Lineker then summed up the conversation by adding: 'Too much c***chat, not enough Snapchat.'
