SIX members of a Russian spy ring are to have their jail sentences reviewed for being too lenient, we can reveal.
The Bulgarians — who lived and worked in the UK — plotted sex stings, and targeted Russian dissidents and journalists critical of President Vladimir Putin's war effort against Ukraine.

Thugs throw missiles on FOURTH night of violence as families forced to hide in attics in riots which injured 41 cops

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) RIOTERS have lobbed bottles and petrol bombs at cops with blazes springing up in Northern Ireland as a fourth night of carnage erupts. Police barricades are blocking roads amid another night of disorder - as families are left hiding in wardrobes and attics in fear of the violence. A police spokesperson warned they "will not tolerate a repeat of the scenes" seen over the last few nights. PSNI chief constable Jon Boutcher described the rioting as "wanton, disgraceful criminal behaviour that is absolutely race motivated". He said: "I want to send a very clear message to all our diverse communities: we stand absolutely shoulder to shoulder with you. We are here to protect you. 'We are your police service, and these bigots and racists will not win the day." Cops earlier decried the mass carnage as "racist thuggery". They've called in reinforcements to keep the peace, with 80 extra officers from Scotland coming over. Violence originally erupted in Ballymena on Monday, stemming from an initially peaceful gathering to support a girl and her family after an alleged sexual assault. Two 14-year-old boys appeared in court charged with attempted rape on Monday. A third man, 28, was also arrested over the alleged sexual assault. The boys confirmed their names - which cannot be reported - and their ages through a Romanian interpreter at Coleraine Magistrates' Court. But within hours of their court appearance, disorder broke out in Co Antrim. Masked yobs set fire to NI leisure centre 'used to house locals fleeing riots' as violence hits Ballymena for 3rd night Northern Ireland's Chief Constable said that the girl's family are "mortified" at the rioting. "Let's stop it now, Everybody wants it to stop" he said. "I reiterate the retraumatising of this poor girl, she's been through enough through what happened to her on Saturday evening. She doesn't want any of this. "I know the family are mortified. I've spoken to them personally, they've asked me to make this plea. Why the two 14-year-old boys charged with attempted rape can't be named The two teenagers charged with attempted rape appeared at Coleraine Magistrates' Court on Monday. The defendants cannot be named due to their ages. Article 22(2) of the 1998 Order restricts press and media reporting of proceedings in youth courts. It states that, where a child is concerned in any criminal proceedings in a youth court or on appeal from a youth court, no report revealing the name, address or school of any child, including anything likely to lead to the identification of the child, shall be published. Press and media are also restricted from publishing a picture of any child concerned, except where the court or the Department of Justice, if satisfied that it is in the interests of justice to do so, makes an order dispensing with these prohibitions. 7 Fireworks, bricks and petrol bombs have all been hurled at cops in recent days Credit: AFP "So for all of you listening, for people who have any sort of responsibility or charge over people who have been doing this awful disorder, get them to desist, stop it. "It's not helping anyone. It's certainly not helping your community." Families in the town of Ballymena, Co Antrim have been forced to flee their homes as the riots continue. Residents in Portadown, County Armagh, were warned tonight that demonstrations are being "directed towards migrants, foreign nationals, and what (is) perceived as deviant behaviour". A letter urged locals to secure their property and belongings, and to stay elsewhere if possible. Earlier in the week, crowds set fire to piles of furniture in the middle of the streets, homes were set alight, and multiple cars went up in flames. Footage showed masked and hooded rioters lobbing petrol bombs, fireworks and bricks at cops trying to calm the unrest on Tuesday. Officers fired baton rounds and water cannon in a desperate bid to keep the mobs at bay. Yesterday, a leisure centre in Larne came under attack after it emerged some foreign families escaping the chaos were being temporarily housed there. In total, 41 officers have been injured in the chaos - with the force even describing a hatchet being chucked at them. Many residents have placed posters in their windows identifying themselves as British to avoid being targeted. Union Jack flags were also prominently displayed. A hand-written note in one window read: "British residents." The PSNI said: "At this time, all incidents are being treated as racially-motivated hate crimes. "We absolutely condemn these disgraceful attacks on our minority ethnic friends and neighbours. "Those responsible are endangering not only the lives of those inside the properties, but putting themselves at risk of injury." Earlier today, three teenagers appeared in court charged with rioting offences. There have been 15 arrests in total. 7 Fire burns near a demonstrator as riots continue in Ballymena, June 11 Credit: Reuters 7 A leisure centre in Larne came under attack after it emerged some foreign families escaping the chaos were being temporarily housed there Credit: Getty

Notorious married teacher Brittany Fortinberry forced to sell her home ‘where she hosted Scream mask orgies with teens'

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A DISGRACED married teacher who allegedly hosted Scream mask orgies with teenage boys has been forced to sell her home. Mother-of-four Brittany Fortinberry, 31 is accused of making teenagers as young as 13 have group sex with her at her Indiana home. The house was allegedly the site of her sick sex exploits and a stripper pole and sex toys were found inside. Court documents claim that the former Eminence High School teacher groomed at least 10 boys - some as young as 13 - through gifts, manipulation, and disturbing sexual advances. The math teacher from Indiana has been accused of sexual abuse of children as young as 13 with claims that she made them wear "Scream" masks and an orgy and "dreamed" about having sex with them. One of the children told police that Fortinberry spent $600 on him and other boys at the mall and then had them wear the masks from the horror movie while she sexually abused them. She met her alleged victims at two different Morgan County schools in 2024. The teacher allegedly told the victims she would kill herself if they reported the abuse, charging documents claim. One accuser harrowingly told cops that if they did not want to have sex with her, she would allegedly rape them and say, "Just let it happen" while also forcing them to watch as she abused the others. To lure the children in and manipulate them, the Indiana educator allegedly showered the boys with expensive football gifts and plied them with drugs put into their food, according to Fox 59. Even the sick teacher's home was allegedly set up for her depraved activities with cops finding a stripper pole and sex toys. The teacher is now facing more charges from prosecutors relating to five more alleged victims bringing the number of accusers up to six. Prosecutors told TMZ that they are preparing to file 24 more felony charges against the teacher including five counts of Level 1 child molestation. This would bring the 31-year-old's felony charges up to 29. As well as child molestation, she will face charges of sexual misconduct with a minor, dissemination of matter harmful to minors, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. If convicted just of the Level 1 molestation charges against her, Fortinberry could face between 20 and 40 years behind bars for each count. This could lead to a life sentence if the judge ruled that the sentences would be served consecutively, the prosecutor said. If found guilty of all counts, depending on her sentencing it is likely she will die behind bars. Her husband Nicholas Fortinberry is also facing charges of intimidation and failure to report a crime for allegedly knowing about the abuse and threatening the boys to keep quiet. The 31-year-old's husband allegedly threatened to "slaughter" one of the victims in front of his family if he spoke out. Detectives believe that at least 10 victims may have been targeted by Fortinberry over the years. Authorities began investigating her in August 2024 after a 15-year-old's grandmother reported that she had molested him, sent nude photos, and drugged him. Since then, several more alleged victims have spoken out, with one saying he came forward because he didn't want Fortinberry to "molest more kids." The teacher resigned from Eminence High School the day after the first allegations surfaced. Fortinberry had been hired as a substitute teacher for Martinsville Schools on October 24, 2023. She is being held without bond with a jury trial set for June 25 in Morgan Superior Court. 4 Brittany is pictured with her husband Nicholas, who has filed for divorce Credit: nicholasmatthewfortinberry/Instagram 4 Teenagers claim that she made them wear "Scream" masks Credit: Alamy

Hapless French cops get worse at preventing small boats from crossing Channel as they make mockery of £480m deal with UK

Police in Calais are making a mockery of the current £480million deal with the UK by stopping a lower proportion of illegal migrants this year, shock figures show. Analysis of Home Office data, which details how many migrants France claims to have prevented from making the journey, reveals the three-year cooperation agreement has changed nothing. Since May 2024, there have been only two months in which French cops have stopped more migrants than the number arriving in the UK — last August and this January. Our research also found that in March, for every migrant caught or made to turn back, 2.36 were picked up by the UK Border Force. READ MORE ON CHANNEL CROSSINGS DANGEROUS JOURNEY Migrants board dinghies for Channel crossing to UK - as French cops watch During seven days in late April, 1,312 migrants arrived, yet only 303 were stopped — a ratio of more than four to one. Overall, three of the French police's five least effective weeks have come since the start of 2025. Former Tory security minister Sir John Hayes yesterday said: 'These figures reveal what most people suspected — the French are half-hearted about what we're paying for them to do. 'Frankly, they've got enough people and resources to puncture every dinghy before it sets off. They should be doing all they can to stop these boats launching, not just standing around.' Downing Street admitted there was 'more to do' in stopping small boat crossings. But defending the France deal, Sir Keir Starmer's spokesman said: 'We have a stronger relationship with the French government. Ever closer cooperation is already bearing fruit but we do know that we need to go further and faster.' France counts arrests, dinghy captures, and finds of smugglers' gear like boats and life vests as 'preventions'. Scores of migrants board overloaded dinghies to make dangerous Channel crossing to UK - as French cops watch on It is set to change the law to allow 'taxi boat' interceptions at sea — but could demand more cash for a new elite police squad. However, militant police unions are blocking the measure and are instead instructing members to adhere to current guidelines that mean officers must stand back as soon as dinghies are in the water. It costs £41,000 a year for the UK to house and feed each illegal immigrant in one of 210 hotels or other private accommodation. 6 One family nearly drowned as they struggled to board the packed dinghy off Gravelines Credit: Chris Eades 6 France is set to change the law to allow 'taxi boat' interceptions at sea Credit: Chris Eades 6 More than 15,000 people have crossed so far in 2025 Credit: Chris Eades Had France stopped as many people as had arrived this year, 2,905 fewer migrants would have entered Britain between January and the end of May. That would have saved taxpayers at least £119million. Last week, The Sun revealed Britain's annual bill to keep migrants in hotels and look after them totals £4.7billion. That is the equivalent of every penny of tax from 582,000 workers, or all the workers in Manchester. More than 15,000 people have crossed so far in 2025 — up 42 per cent on this time year. The Home Office was approached for comment.
