The actress is currently promoting her upcoming film Heads of State, an action-comedy that stars Hollywood biggies like John Cena, Idris Elba, Jack Quaid, and more. Directed by Ilya Naishuller, the film follows the U.S. President and the U.K. Prime Minister as they unite to battle a global conspiracy. Priyanka plays a key MI6 agent who joins them in their mission.
Ahead of the film's release on July 2, Priyanka hosted a special screening for close friends and family. Her husband Nick Jonas, daughter Malti Marie, and brother-in-law Joe Jonas were all in attendance. A video from the event shows Joe sweetly introducing the film and giving a special shoutout to Priyanka.
'We are about to watch the premiere, actually not even the premiere, the premiere premiere of Heads of State starring John Cena, Idris Elba and of course Priyanka Chopra Jonas," Joe says in the clip, which Priyanka also reshared on her Instagram Stories.
Heads of State will release globally on Amazon Prime Video and will be available in Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu.
On the Bollywood front, fans are still waiting for updates on her much-anticipated project Jee Le Zaraa, which was announced with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. However, the film's production status remains unclear.
