Who Is Wendy Ortiz? Why Fans Are Begging Kylie Jenner to Collab with Her
Kylie Jenner's comment sections can be a dark and divisive space. It's where you'll find debates about what work she's gotten done, droves of naysayers policing her mothering style, and maybe even some calls to eat the rich. But as of late, on Kylie's TikTok, you'll also find a pretty unified front. A baffling one at that. Because it's where thousands of users are asking, nay, begging, for Kylie to recognize someone by the name of Wendy Ortiz. The requests take the shape of anything from "WENDY ORTIZ COLLAB QUEEN" to the slightly less aggressive "Wendy Ortiz X Kylie Jenner collab Would EAT." The tireless calls are being made on Kylie's GRWM videos, her thirst traps, and even her well-intentioned promos for new Kylie Cosmetics foundation brushes. The Wendy Ortiz hive will not let Kylie rest.
If the legion of shooters she's got littered in Kylie's comments weren't already an indication, let it be known that Wendy is no random. In short, she's 21 years old, a Scorpio, and has over 3.7 million followers on TikTok. She originally came to slight fame in 2018 through the YouTube channel she shared with her twin sister, called Evelyn and Wendolyn, but her solo TikTok blew up in 2023. It's where she posts everything from dance videos to comedy skits to clips of her 2-year-old daughter, Valentina (Wendy had her in 2023 with her on-again, off-again partner, Carlos). But recently, Valentina has set her sights on a whole other platform, Twitch. Her following on there is a bit smaller (678k), but she was one of the more popular students at Kai Cenat's recent Streamer University project, and since then has hosted a Streamer University recap livestream and some Q&As on Twitch.
The Kylie Jenner of it all began when, during one of her streams, Wendy decided to shoot her shot and vocalize that her dream collab would be with the makeup mogul. Now, to be clear, by "collab," Wendy doesn't mean join forces on a cosmetic product or campaign, but instead just having Kylie join her on one of her streams. A harmless ask!
But Wendy's fans, the "Winions" (a stan name deserving of a trademark), heard this dream and decided it was their mission to make it a reality. Hence their intense presence in the comments of everything Kylie posts, which some have understandably grown a little tired of. "Leave this woman alone…. she's not collabing with a tiktoker," wrote one worn down Kylie follower. "When you say collab, what are you guys referring to just sitting in front of a camera together? lol" asks another. (A genuinely valid question.)
Now according to some eagle-eyed Winions (I'm obsessed with this stan name and intend to say it as much as possible) their calls might posisbly have been heard. Earlier this week on a stream, Wendy was left astonished by a text she'd received, which the Winons took to mean that Wendy had finally received contact from Kylie herself.
Now, any word from Kylie herself about the phenomenon is yet to come. But I can't imagine she can keep posting business as usual for very long. The Winions have shown no sign of letting up.

Iconic 2000s Rocker, 50, Has Fans Saying the Same Thing in Unexpected Video
As fans of The Darkness know, frontman Justin Hawkins is one of the most entertaining rock stars around - both on and off the stage. His social media followers never know what to expect from the hilarious one recent video still managed to come as a surprise. The 50-year-old musician took to TikTok this week to share a clip of himself performing an impromptu rap called "Cars Are Like People" with a little help from girlfriend Desiree Mishoe. "Cars are like humans cause they go rusty and then they stop working just like humans do," Hawkins began, as a beat played in the background. "When cars are rusty and they're in a the scrap yard, then it makes me do the opposite of smile, cause I think about all the times I might just die when I'm getting older, and I get rusty like a car that's in a scrap yard," Hawkins continued, as Mishoe laughed and danced along. Fans in the comments were definitely amused. "He's a rapper guys," joked one person, with a second quipping, "Love that the darkness are going in a new direction." "The undisputed king of rap," declared someone else, as another agreed, "He should start a rap career." While Hawkins probably won't be releasing a hip-hop album anytime soon, he did open up about evolving as a musician in a recent interview with Kerrang!. "It's about getting to a certain age and realizing that the world's changing, and you've gotta change or that's you f-ked, you get left behind," he said, adding, "And that's rock. It's actually from the perspective of rock - rock is a middle-aged guy in a world full of people who are just generation…whatever the f-k it is now, and it has to wake up and be part of it." Rising Country Star Apologizes After Embarrassing Onstage ‘Oopsie'
Ella Langleyhas been on the country music scene for a hot minute, and she's still learning a few things. First, make sure to get everyone's name correct. Langley released her debut single, "Perfect," in 2018. From there, the Alabama native relocated to Nashville to take her country music career to the next level. In a few short years, she signed with Sony Music Nashville, made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry, and released her first studio album, Hungover. So far, her highest charting hit is "You Look Like Love Me," and the sky's the limit on this young talent. However, with her career taking off, she let the excitement get the better of her. During a recent stop on Riley Green'sDamn Country Music Tour, Langley, who opened for Green, shouted out the night's other opening acts. She gave love to Wyatt McCubbin and Hudson Westbrook… …except, it wasn't Westrbook that performed. It was Vincent Mason. "I made an oopsie, and the problem is, the oopsie was so strange, because I have no idea why," said Langley in a TikTok apology. She recapped the night and how she first gave a shout-out to Wyatt McCubbin. "And I then I said 'Hudson Westbrook,' and then everyone was like, 'woo!' but kind of confused. And I was like, 'why are you confused?'" she said. "Because I knew it was Vincent Mason, but, for some reason, I said Hudson Westbrook." "So, public apology. Sorry. Sorry, Vincent. Hudson, shout out to you! And Vincent, sorry," she concluded. Thankfully, there were no hard feelings. Langley's video ends with her and Mason sharing a hug. "I'm not used to having openers perform for me at all. I'm used to being the first one," she explained. And Mason chimed in the comment section. "Literally, who is Vincent Mason?" he jokes. "No idea," added Langley. Even Hudson Westbrook got in on the fun. "I'll take the shout out any day," wrote the 20-year-old country singer.
