The infant was found March 27 at a park located off Brown Avenue, according to Attorney General John M. Formella's office.
Police believe that the baby was left in the water at some point between March 25 and March 27, Marr said at a press conference in early April.
'Together, we will offer her the dignity of remembrance and the warmth of farewell that every life deserves,' Connor-Healy Funeral Home said in the baby's obituary. 'She will be laid to rest with love, carried not only by those present, but by all who recognize the value of every human life, no matter how brief.'

A man riding a skateboard stole a unique rainbow manatee statue from a Wilton Manors park, and police are still searching for him and the piece of art a week later. Wilton Manors Police released surveillance video on Tuesday, showing a shirtless man walk up to the 3-foot-tall fiberglass manatee statue at Justin Flippen Park just before 1 a.m. June 3 and push it down from its pedestal. The man took the statue, which is valued at $5,500 and was created to honor the late Mayor Justin Flippen, and skated away with it over his shoulder, the police department said. The man was last seen skating west on Northeast 21st Court, just across from the park. It's not the first time someone has tampered with art in Justin Flippen Park. In 2023, a man was arrested after he purposefully drove into a 14-foot-tall, blue glass mosaic sculpture of a bunny, titled 'Thunderbunny,' that was worth nearly $300,000, the police department said at the time. After his arrest, the same man admitted to also vandalizing a $15,000 sculpture of a popsicle by another artist in nearby Rachel Richardson Park just a few days earlier. Police say a man intentionally drove into a $200,000 sculpture. The artist says it won't discourage him. A woman suspected of murdering her husband during their honeymoon has turned herself in to police, the BBC reported. Authorities allege that Sonam Raghuvanshi, 25, hired professional hitmen to kill her husband, 30-year-old Raja Raghuvanshi, during their honeymoon to the Indian state of Meghalaya. Sonam and Raja, who were wed on May 11 'in a ceremony blessed by both families,' chose Meghalaya as a honeymoon spot because of its 'very beautiful valleys,' Raja's brother, Sachin Raghuvanshi, told the outlet."Their marriage was arranged four months back, and they were both happy and there had been no fights between the couple before or after marriage," Raja's second brother, Vipin Raghuvanshi, said. On May 24, four days after they departed for their trip, Sonam and Raja were reported missing. A feverish search undertaken by officials came to an end one week after it began when officers discovered Sonam's corpse at the bottom of a gorge. His throat had been slit, and he was missing his wallet, a chain, and a gold ring. Sonam remained missing until the morning of June 9, when she surrendered to authorities in the Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh. At this time, police have identified her as 'the main suspect.'In addition to Sonam, three more suspects—all of whom hail from the couple's home state—were arrested Monday morning in surprise raids. "One person was picked up from Uttar Pradesh, and another two accused were apprehended from Indore. $50M worth of cocaine seized, nine arrested in largest single drug seizure in Peel police history
Nearly 500 kilograms of cocaine have been seized and nine people have been arrested as part of the largest single drug seizure in Peel police history. The news came during a media conference for 'Project Pelican,' a transnational drug smuggling investigation that police said led to a criminal network being dismantled. Officers held the conference for the 'historic' drug seizure at 9 a.m. on Tuesday. The 479 kilograms of seized cocaine has an estimated street value of $50 million and represents a 'seismic blow' to criminal operations in Peel region, Peel Police Chief Nishan Duraiappah said. The drugs were coming into the province from the United States through commercial trucks, he added. Multiple officials spoke during the news conference, including Brampton mayor Patrick Brown, Ontario solicitor general Michael Kerzner and assistant director of the Canada Border Services Agency Abeid Morgan.
