Researcher Issam Ahmed Hijari was awarded a Master's degree with distinction and honors from the Department of the Qur'an and its Sciences, College of Education, Hodeida University on Wednesday.
His thesis, "Occasions and Their Impact on Interpretation through the Book of al-Tahdhib fi al-Tafsir by al-Hakim al-Jashmi (413-494 AH), from the beginning of Surat al-Mu'minun to the end of Surat al-Rum: Collection, Study, and Comparison," was highly praised by the discussion and evaluation committee.
The committee, comprised of Dr. Saeed al-Haddad (external examiner, Taiz University), Dr. Ahmed Madhkur (supervisor, Hodeida University), and Dr. Ali Badi (internal examiner), commended the thesis's content, cognitive value, and textual analysis, recognizing it as a valuable contribution to Yemeni and Arab Islamic scholarship.
The event was attended by Dr. Mohammed al-Wusabi, Assistant Vice Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, along with academics, researchers, and colleagues.

This achievement comes as the project enters its eighth year, with continued funding from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center—reflecting Saudi Arabia's sustained commitment to supporting humanitarian initiatives in Yemen.
