Hodeida University awards master's degree with distinction for Quranic studies thesis
Hodeida - Saba: Researcher Issam Ahmed Hijari was awarded a Master's degree with distinction and honors from the Department of the Qur'an and its Sciences, College of Education, Hodeida University on Wednesday. His thesis, "Occasions and Their Impact on Interpretation through the Book of al-Tahdhib fi al-Tafsir by al-Hakim al-Jashmi (413-494 AH), from the beginning of Surat al-Mu'minun to the end of Surat al-Rum: Collection, Study, and Comparison," was highly praised by the discussion and evaluation committee. The committee, comprised of Dr. Saeed al-Haddad (external examiner, Taiz University), Dr. Ahmed Madhkur (supervisor, Hodeida University), and Dr. Ali Badi (internal examiner), commended the thesis's content, cognitive value, and textual analysis, recognizing it as a valuable contribution to Yemeni and Arab Islamic scholarship. Hodeida university holds event commemorating martyr President al-Sammad
Hodeida - Saba: Hodeida University and the University Student Forum organized on Sunday a cultural and intellectual event to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of President Saleh al-Sammad. The event, titled "Martyr al-Sammad is the most sublime model of the Quranic culture school," highlighted the leadership qualities, sacrifices, and contributions of President al-Sammad. Deputy governor for Services Affairs Mohammed Halisi praised President al-Sammad's leadership and his commitment to serving the nation. He emphasized that the martyrdom of President al-Sammad did not hinder the progress of the nation's development and that Yemen continues to move forward based on the principles and vision of its leaders. The event also featured speeches by university officials, who discussed the importance of learning from the life and legacy of President al-Sammad and his contributions to the nation.
