Diddy's Team Is Reportedly Working Toward A Presidential Pardon From Donald Trump
As Sean 'Diddy' Combs' federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial continues to intensify, sources close to the embattled music mogul say his inner circle is quietly angling for a potential Presidential pardon — from none other than former U.S. President Donald Trump.
While Combs has publicly distanced himself from Trump in recent years, insiders say desperation has shifted his tone behind closed doors.
'He's willing to do anything to get out of jail,' a source who has known Combs for a decade tells, Rolling Stone. 'He's always been this way. He's always going to do what he has to do to get out of a situation.'
That same source notes a striking contradiction in Combs' strategy. 'He doesn't even like Donald Trump,' the source adds, emphasizing just how dire the mogul's situation has become.
Still, communication between Combs' team and Trump's political network is reportedly 'ongoing and preliminary,' with efforts quietly focused on 'making connections with the Trump team.'
One insider even admitted that 'the words 'deep state' came up once or twice,' alluding to the kind of language often used in MAGA-aligned circles to describe government overreach.
While their current relationship may seem opportunistic, Trump and Combs do share a decades-long history. In a 2012 episode of Celebrity Apprentice, Trump referred to Combs as his 'friend,' saying: 'I love Diddy… he's a good friend of mine; he's a good guy.'
When he pressed contestant Aubrey O'Day — formerly of Danity Kane and a Bad Boy artist — for her opinion, she replied, 'I don't want to answer that question… I'm the full-blown f**king story of that.' Still, Trump responded, 'I'm going to stick up for him.'

'I am NOT taking drugs!' Musk denies damning report
Elon Musk on Saturday denied a report that he used ketamine and other drugs extensively last year on the 2024 campaign trail. The New York Times reported Friday that the billionaire adviser to President Donald Trump used so much ketamine, a powerful anesthetic, that he developed bladder problems. The newspaper said the world's richest person also took ecstasy and mushrooms and traveled with a pill box last year, adding that it was not known whether Musk also took drugs while heading the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) after Trump took power in January. In a post Saturday on X, Musk said: "To be clear, I am NOT taking drugs! The New York Times was lying their ass off." He added: "I tried 'prescription' ketamine a few years ago and said so on X, so this not even news. It helps for getting out of dark mental holes, but haven't taken it since then." Musk first dodged a question about his drug use at a bizarre farewell appearance Friday with Trump in the Oval Office in which the Tesla and SpaceX boss sported a noticeable black eye as he formally ended his role as Trump's main cost-cutter at DOGE, which fired tens of thousands of civil servants. News of the injury drew substantial attention as it came right after the Times report on his alleged drug use. The daily recalled erratic behavior such as Musk giving an enthusiastic Nazi-style salute last year. Musk said he got the injury while horsing around with his young son, named X, when he told the child to hit him in the face. "And he did. Turns out even a five-year-old punching you in the face actually is..." he added, before tailing off. Later Friday, when a reporter asked Trump if he was aware of Musk's "regular drug use," Trump responded: "I wasn't." "I think Elon is a fantastic guy," he added. Musk has previously admitted to taking ketamine, saying he was prescribed it to treat a "negative frame of mind" and suggesting his use of drugs benefited his work. dw/mlm

CNN Host Claims Trump Is ‘Clearly Rattled' by TACO Nickname
Donald Trump is 'clearly rattled' after being confronted with the his new 'TACO' nickname during a press conference earlier this week, says CNN's Erin Burnett. The president had a meltdown on Wednesday after being made aware of the acronym, which stands for 'Trump Always Chickens Out.' The term was coined by Wall Street traders due to his habit of repeatedly backing down from his threats. 'That's a nasty question,' he said in response to the reporter who asked about the name at a White House press briefing this week. 'Don't ever say what you said. That's a nasty question… To me, that's the nastiest question.' Talking to former White House lawyer Ty Cobb about the incident on Thursday, Burnett referenced an AI-generated picture of Trump wearing a suit made out of tacos which was posted on the Drudge Report website following the incident. 'This came through after he was asked about the TACO trade, and it was by a reporter from CNBC, and it rattled him, clearly,' said Burnett. 'How much is it bothering him right now?' 'Well, I think it bothers him very much,' Cobb said in response. 'I mean, what you heard there was the rant of a wounded narcissist. You know he doesn't take criticism well, and he responds typically with these riffs like that. 'He just… when he gets deeply into his own fears and insecurity like this, he's capable of saying anything. This is very troubling to him.' He added: 'It's an affront to him that judges hold him to account. It's an affront to him that when the facts are not with him, that he's confronted with them. He's not capable of saying 'I made a mistake', he's not capable of saying 'let me see if I can clear this up,' it's all very, very personal.' Trump has yet to make any further comment on the nickname since his rant on Wednesday, but the term has since been picked up by several leading Democratic figures and proliferated on social media. California Governor Gavin Newsom mocked the blocking of Trump's tariff policies by a federal court by quipping 'it's raining tacos today' while Jon Cooper, a former campaign chair for Barack Obama, penned a taco-themed diss poem aimed at the president on X, and captioned it with the hashtag #TACOTrump. 'Taco Don' memes have also begun to flourish amongst users on X and Bluesky, many of which involve AI-generated images of the president entombed in various taco-related items or dressed as a chicken. Responding to the court rulings which kickstarted the tariff chaos and minting of his new nickname on Thursday night, Trump posted on Truth Social: 'Radical Left Judges, together with some very bad people, are destroying America. Under this decision, Trillions of Dollars would be lost by our Country, money that will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.' 'It would be the harshest financial ruling ever leveled on us as a Sovereign Nation,' he added. 'The President of the United States must be allowed to protect America against those that are doing it Economic and Financial harm.'

Mexican band Grupo Firme cancels festival appearance because of US visa issue
Mexican band Grupo Firme cancels festival appearance because of US visa issue The Tijuana-based regional music group is among a growing number of Mexican musicians who have had abrupt visa issues. Show Caption Hide Caption Spotted: Pedro Pascal in economy class on his way to Cannes Actor Pedro Pascal went viral for his comments on U.S. immigration at Cannes Film Festival. The Mexican band Grupo Firme canceled their headlining June 1 performance at a California music festival because the group said their visas were currently in an 'administrative process' to enter the country. The Tijuana-based regional Mexican music group is among a growing number of Mexican musicians who have had abrupt visa issues, sometimes for alleged ties to drug cartels, during the second Trump administration. It wasn't immediately clear what caused visa issues for Grupo Firme to enter the country for their June 1 performance at La Onda Fest, in Napa Valley. The band offered no further details aside from a May 30 post on Instagram Stories. The post said the United States Embassy currently had visas in an 'administrative process' for bandmates and their record label, Music VIP. This made it 'impossible' for them to attend the Mexican music festival. 'We are sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause,' the post said in Spanish. 'We appreciate your understanding and, above all, the love of our fans in the United States.' In an emailed response, the Department of State said visa records are confidential by law, so they couldn't comment on the case. Officials didn't respond to questions about the basis for the visa issue, or about the 'administrative process' the band described. The group said they would share news of their return to the United States when they can make new plans. Mexican singer Julión Álvarez said he had his visa revoked ahead of a sold-out May 24 show at AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys. In 2017, Álvarez had his visa revoked after being accused of ties to a drug trafficker, though he denied this. He was taken off a list in 2022, and he was in the country as recently as April to perform three sold-out shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Earlier this year, the State Department revoked the visas for Los Alegres del Barranco, after the band displayed an image of Mexican drug lord Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes, known as "El Mencho,' at a concert in Mexico in late March. The group had an American tour planned. On X, Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau confirmed the department canceled Los Alegres' work and tourist visas for "glorifying" Oseguera Cervantes, who is head of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. In 2021, Grupo Firme won a Latin Grammy for best banda album. The group is known for songs such as "Ya Supérame" and "Cada Quién." But in February, the group canceled a festival performance in Mazatlán, in the Mexican state of Sinaloa, after being threatened by a suspected drug cartel. The threat reportedly came in the form of a narcomanta – a banner used by drug cartels to communicate messages – displayed on a bridge, as well as a severed human head found nearby, addressed to Grupo Firme. Grupo Firme has sought to distance itself from music known as narcocorridos, or drug ballads, that have gained an international following, coinciding with a global rise in the popularity of regional Mexican music. States in Mexico have sought to ban the subgenre of corridos, or Mexican ballads. In April, Grupo Firme's lead singer, Eduin Caz, said the group doesn't perform narcocorridos. Their music, focused on love and heartbreak, 'has fed us very well,' he said at a press conference. La Onda Fest was set to take place May 31 to June 1, with Grupo Firme slated as the last act on the second day. The festival said Tito Double P, a corridos singer from Sinaloa, would replace Grupo Firme.
