As usual, we enter the phone through the back, removing the glass cover. Then it's a matter of unscrewing a lot of screws. The frame is plastic, the ports have rubber gaskets around them, and the battery comes off by removing a lot of adhesive.
In the end, the F56 received a very good repairability score of 9 out of 10, where 10 would be most repairable and 0 would be least. It got top marks for parts availability, how easy it is to replace the battery, and how easy it is to replace other parts like the charging port and such. It only received 1.5 out of a total of 2 in two categories: the organization and time needed for repairs, and how easy it is to replace the screen.
Had the innards been better organized and the screen easier to replace, the F56 would have gotten a perfect score, which really isn't something we see all that much.

As you might know, T-Mobile 's T-Satellite service allows a smartphone user in an area where there is no cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity to stay connected via Starlink satellites. At first, users will be limited to sending and receiving text messages and sharing their location via their phone's messaging app. Picture and voice messaging via satellite is also being pushed out now by T-Mobile . T-Mobile users won't have to point their phones at the sky in order to connect to a signal from a satellite. During one of these short gaps, messages might take longer than usual to send. Even if this is the case, your phone will keep trying to deliver the message, even if you leave your device in your pocket." With the free beta for T-Satellite coming to a close last week, T-Mobile subscribers on the pricier Experience Beyond and Go5G Next plans get T-Satellite as a free perk. Other T-Mobile subscribers on other qualified plans can add the service for $10 per month for a limited time. Eventually, T-Satellite will cost them $15 per month. The wait is over, Samsung's next generation of foldables is now available. That means the end of the pre-order perks, but you can still get some extras. Right now, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 are available with $200 Amazon Gift Cards (no more free storage upgrade, though). We have a detailed review if you want to do a deep dive before committing. If you decide to get one, you may want to also grab a case to protect your shiny new foldable. The Z Fold7 case no longer holds an S Pen (remember: support was removed), but it does have a grip. It's available in transparent and gray. The Z Flip7 cases offer a stylish leather option (Kindsuit) or a more playful look (Flip Suit). Of course, this year Samsung offers the more affordable Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, which starts at $200 less than the premium Z Flip7, though this is with less memory.
